Unpopular Opinion on BigBang

I've been scratching my head about why I haven't been falling so hard up on BigBang the way I used to be. I thought I'd be writing a new fanfic every other day by now. I mean, they're finally back after 110 years with two songs a month until September PLUS a new album. They'll be on more variety shows, interviewing together (more gdyb and todae action) and all the rest. I shoud be geeked the out but I'm not. Why am I not feeling it? The I realised its because...they feel like some westernized posers.

I don't, ti just feel like they aren't really taking a chance. All this is so safe and uninspired. The Quentin Tarantino stylized 'Made Tour' thing, the Coachella headdresses in this new video the Oliver Stone influences throughout this whole venture, the trap music, 'Mad Max' and more english ('or nah', really bruh?), it feels so uncomfortably contrived. Kinda like Zico in the 'Tough Cookie' video (but not as stupid but just as uninformed). It just leaves me feeling very 'meh'. It to feel this way but, I'm just not here for this new they're putting out. At least not Made 'M' and 'A' series. Maybe 'D', 'E' and the new albulm will change my thoughts but all in all...

I don't really think this is an unpopular opinion, per say. I haven't been looking forward to this comeback much, and I think it's because the latest music that the BB members have been releasing aren't really what I'm used to. Since their Alive album, I've been slightly disappointed with their music. I really miss their early years. Last Farewell, Lies, Sunset Glow, Beautiful Hangover were all my jams.

Don't get me wrong, I love my boys, but I too am less than enthusiastic about most of the new stuff so far. Other than some y moves and some nice gifs, I really haven't seen much to make me say WOW! A touch disappointed personally. I mean, if they come to the US, I will still go see them, but not for the new stuff so much as to say I have seen BB perform Haru Haru, Blue, or FB live.
