Youtube shenanigans

Heyyo~!

As we all know, Youtube is one of the largest video-sharing website. We can pretty much search up anything we want to watch from there and it will give us results. Ranging from those decent music videos of the group we like to videos of their crazy and dorky selves. Literally, almost everything is on there. Anyway, in this post, I wanna share today's Youtube shenanigans with my family.

So, first off, one of my sisters and I were just going through Taylor Swift's music videos, y'know? Watching You belong with meThe story of usOursBad Blood etc. Then our parents came along and joined in our Youtube music videos 'fest' and began watching. One music video led to another, like, from Cher Lloyd, Boy George, Menudo (who you probably have not even heard about. Trust me, me too, not until my parents introduced them), Backstreet Boys and a whole lot of others.

I thought, since we were on Youtube and my parents have not watched a Kpop video before, that this was the perfect time to do it. So, I told my sister, "We should let mum and dad react to EXO" and next thing I knew, the Call Me Baby MV was playing. I grabbed my phone, obviously, to capture this rare moment (LOL). Mum thought the car was nice (from K's version) and when they started singing, dad was like, "Why do you listen to this? You don't even understand it." And chucking, I said, "It's not about the language, it's about the music."

Anyway, when Baekhyun started singing "Hey girl~", mum turned to my dad and said, "Oh, there 'hey girl'. Don't tell me you don't understand that" (Hahahaha!) My dad went on his phone throughout 99 per cent of the video while mum continued to watch. She thought in the beginning, with Baek, Sehun, Xiumin and Suho, that one of them were girls. She asked, and I quote, "Is that a girl?" and my sister and I laughed, before she said, "No, they're all guys" XD

By the end of the MV, I asked mum if she liked it and she said she does (yes!), but added by saying that she would've enjoyed it more if she could understand the language and know what they were saying. I didn't really mind that because they actually watched a Kpop music video. That's probably an achievement for me (LOL).

Continuing on... We watched One Direction music videos after because my sisters and I are big fans, and now, apparently I think we've turned my mum into one as well :P During Steal My Girl's video, mum turned to me and said, referring to Harry, "If you're going to marry him, it's okay by me. I approve. Don't mind what your dad will say" XD <3 I was literally squealing, laughing, chuckling, having feels inside. I love how she knows I like (more like love *ahem*) Harry and she approves of him. She likes Harry the most, too, woooo~!

These were probably the highlight of my night. Man, family quality time is good. There's no feeling like spending it with your family, am I right? :P

Do you love Youtube? If so, what is it that you search up the most? ;) Also, comment if your parents are pro-Kpop or anti-Kpop (Haha)
