Why don't you try 3 color tones? The first pic has a really pretty color and so does Demi's. You can create a 3 tone layer look? I don't know, but both of those color would look good with your hair and complexion x3

Why don't you get Mila Kunis' mocha brown hair? I've been wanting to get that since a while now.
Or maybe, Lilly Aldridge's brown hair?

I think you'd look good with the color in the first pic if you wanna try something different but like pop-inspired said I think blonde suits you very well
