The most that she did with her hair is get bangs, then grow them out. She was always quite skinny, even if she ate a lot. So, she has a tiny waist. She Basically looks like a little kid sometimes because she's so short at 166cm and being very skinny. She doesn't really have curves, only a tiny, tiny bit i guess. In reality, Jangmi is a very depressed soul. Because of her strong sense of pride, Jangmi puts on a tough face and pretends that she's alright. she hates feeling weak in front of others and will never cry in public. She always keeps her frustrations and problems to herself while always listening to other people's problems and helping them. She's a little too kind for her own good, but that's only because she strives to help people so they won't end up like her. She's very selfless and would often dismiss anything that's troubling her for the sake of others. It's like she never thinks of herself.
In, truth Jangmi hates herself (for reasons that shall be explained later on) That's why she never thinks of herself. But nobody really knows this. everyone just see's her as a person with no worries. But, it's easy to think that Jangmi has no worries, since she's very intelligent. Always acing her tests, she excels in her studies. Most people think that she does this effortlessly, but in actuality, she studies her brains off. this often results in sleepless nights and a ton of concealer the next morning. Jangmi is very stubborn, so she won't ever stop until she receives a perfect grade. If she doesn't, she'll be hard on herself and won't sleep or eat until she achieves her perfect marks. But she easily covers this up to other people, often saying that she has some family get together or a family night out, when she's actually just studying.
One thing that everyone knows about Jangmi is how inpatient the girl is. she hates waiting so she's not really one for any sort of appointments. She hates waiting for other's but she's a bit of a hypocrite since she takes hours to get ready just to go outside. Jangmi is a huge perfectionist. this is the reason why she has this obsession for others to think that she has this perfect life with a perfect family. Her goal is for everyone to think that her life is perfect. Therefore she puts on this charade. While everyone thinks she's happy, she's actually studying 24/7 with no rest, suffering at home and is in a endless loop of self hate. But her kindness and energy is still real.
She's always very lively and funny. Always making jokes and having perfect timing for them, she never fails to make other's laugh. This is something that jangmi loves about herself very much. The fact that she can make other's happy makes her happy, so she's always trying to make other's laugh. If people actually knew what jangmi is going through they'd say "So you were being fake all this time huh?" but this isn't true. Yes, Jangmi is very kind and helpful and funny and energetic. Yes, Jangmi is very intelligent, sweet and bubbly and selfless. She thinks of others before herself, but the only thing "fake" about her is the fact that she seems like she leads the perfect life. they stopped caring For Jangmi when she was three. From then on she was yelled at, being called a stupid mistake and being told that she only brings depression onto everyone's lives. At first Jangmi didn't want to believe it, but growing while hearing those horrible words from the two people that are supposed to love you the most, you end up believing the things they say. In kindergarten, she saw all the other kids having such loving parents, and Jangmi would silently sob and wait for her parents to pick her up. Sadly, they never did. so she had to walk home, often getting lost and crying, but somehow finding her way back to their small, shabby rooftop house. She would always get yelled at for coming home, and she never understood why. By age seven, Jangmi finally understood that her parents didn't want her to come back, so they'd purposely never pick her up. She grew up always thinking that she was a mistake and she hated herself. She still keeps this mindset.
The physical abuse however, started in middle school when jangmi was only twelve. Her parents were both drunk, and when she came home from school with a not so good grade they kicked her, slapped her and whipped her multiple times while throwing multiple objects at her. She cried herself to sleep that night. but she decided that if at home she was like this, she'd live a perfect life outside of home. So she created a facade. She suddenly made more friends and made herself an "angel." She would study for long hours to get perfect grades so she can go to the best university there is, and escape her parents, making them regret how they treated her. she took the abuse from her parents, and in the morning while getting ready for school, she would apply a ton of concealer and makeup from the abuse and the long hours of studying.
This is what her life is like. she never got to enjoy a regular kid's life with the toys, and the loving parents. No, instead she got alcoholic abusive parents and a lot of second-hand smoking from them. she promised herself to never end up like them and never stoop so low to their level. That's why she's so kind and sweet. that's why she's so caring and selfless. That's why she's a perfectionist, fooling everyone into thinking that she has the perfect life.

— At first meeting, jimin is quite timid and shy. he won't speak up much, but once you grow closer, you'll see how much of a fluff ball this boy is. He's the type of person to listen to other people's problems and help them out (much like Jangmi). He's very obedient and follows requests without complaining much. jimin is the perfect friend. He's trustworthy and is an expert at comforting people. People just always tend to open up to him easily since he has that cute, sweet and innocent feel to him. Everything he does is always from the heart and he's very sincere in his actions and words. He's someone most people feel comfortable around and he's very easy-going. But, don't mistake him to be a complete push over. Jimin is someone who is very competitive and loves having attention. He's a bit insecure about himself, so when he receives compliments, he feels like he's on cloud nine. This is why when people say something bad about him, he'll take it to heart and work on himself to be a better person. Over all, Jimin is a very considerate, kind and cute person who is quite competitive and loves receiving attention. He may seem timid at first, but in actuality he's very sweet and comfortable to be around.

— Jiminnie here was born in busan to two loving parents. He was born into a middle class family and soon he got a younger bother. Growing up, jimin always felt insecure about his body image, so in his teens he would always work out and exercise like crazy. This of course worked and he earned his abs, muscles (and dat booty doe~), making him quite popular with the ladies. Because of his good looks and sweet personality, Jimin was always admired by many girls, but he never got any confessions. Reason? He got friend zoned oh so quickly because of his comfortable personality. Poor thing. But he didn't mind all that much. jimin would often spend his day working out and dancing. He loves to dance so much that he now has a habit of randomly bursting out into a dance on the streets. Because both of his parents' jobs got transferred to Seoul, he ended up moving there for convenience.

— Their meeting was fairly simple really. Jimin moved from busan to Seoul, and transferred to Jangmi's school. He ended up in Jangmi's class and since she was the class president, she was in charge of showing him around and making him feel comfortable in his new school. while showing him around the school, she noticed that jimin was quite timid, so she decided to befriend him so he'll feel more comfortable. so everyday at lunch, she would invite him to sit with her and her friends so he would adapt to the new school quickly. because of this, Jimin started to slowly develop a little crush on Jangmi. She was always so kind to him and always paid attention to him, so it made him feel special. But after a while he noticed that she did this to everyone, so he grew upset and since his crush became really big he started distancing himself from her a bit, growing afraid of how much he started to like her. Noticing this, Jangmi got really upset and confronted him quickly, resulting in jimin confessing his feelings. Jangmi was of course shocked hearing his confession since that was the firs time in her life she ever received a confession. When Jangmi didn't say anything, Jimin just fled the scene quickly, upset. Overnight, jangmi thought about it. She did like jimin. she thought about how cute he was and how kind he was, and she realized the reason she was so hurt when jimin started ignoring her was because she liked him too. Soon the whole school thought they were dating. for the first time in her life, Jangmi felt loved, special and meaningful around jimin, and because of this, jangmi finally agreed to officially become his girlfriend. they grew close by each day, and they fell in love. Jimin, Jimin, jimin. That was the only thing that was going through Jangmi's mind, but then her grades went down because of this, and the beating at home grew more and more as a result. So jangmi distanced herself. As days past, she further got more distant. she felt that jimin didn't deserve someone as pathetic like her, so she broke it off. This was a huge shock not only to jimin, but to the whole school.
jimin was not only upset, but furious. He suddenly realized that jangmi never actually told him much about her family, her background or anything of the sorts, when he himself revealed everything to her. He also never met her family, when she did many times. He decided to take matters into his own hands and find out what was going on. He knew that jangmi still loved him. so he secretly followed her home and he was surprised. He always thought that jangmi lived in a big house with a pretty garden, but was shocked to find out that it was a small, shabby looking rooftop house. While he was still processing this, he heard screams coming from inside. He ran in, finding Jangmi being kicked and slapped by her parents. He instantly grabbed her and ran out of the house and just kept running and running with jangmi protesting.
Jimin now understood. it was because of her parents that she did all those things, so he stopped, hugged her and kissed her saying that it's okay. However, jangmi was furious. she pushed him away and broke down, yelling at him. "Why?! why would you do that? now it's gonna' be worse! Who told you to follow me home!? Why?" she kept hitting him and she finally had her long awaited mental breakdown. jimin just hugged her while she kept sobbing. He then took her back to his place, nursing her wounds, while she finally revealed everything to him. the next day, they sneaked into jangmi's house, took her things, and she stayed with jimin. She was treated so kindly by jimin's parents, and it was so new to her. She finally felt happy. Jimin would tell her that she was not a mistake and that she was a blessing everyday. He would constantly tell her that he loved her and she did the same. The whole school was happy that they got back together. Everything seemed fine and dandy...but it was short lived. When jangmi was going to get some snacks for her, jimin, and his little brother, her father took kidnapped Her. She found herself tied up to a chair, and her mother, father and a bunch of scary looking people in a room. They gave her a letter and plane tickets. the letter was an acceptance letter with a full scholarship to Harvard university. She sent the application a long while back, before jimin. Her parents have been keeping it from her, but now threatened that if she doesn't leave the country and go, that they would take jimin's family and torture them and ruin jimin's life. Knowing that they were fully capable of this, she agreed. The reason why her parents wanted her to leave now was because they got a lot of money by winning a lottery, and they didn't want to share it with her.
She came back to jimin's place and the next day, when jimin was out at dance practice, his little brother was hanging with his friends and jimin's parents were at work, Jangmi wrote a letter explaining why she left, how much she loves him and cares about him, and that if he came to look for her, she won't acknowledge him. she told him to forget about her. jimin came home before everyone else and noticed that all of jangmi's things were gone. he found the letter on his bed, and broke down after he read it. He then rushed to the bathroom and filled up the tub. He got in re-reading the letter multiple times. because everything was happening so quickly and unexpectedly, HE WAS BEING IRRATIONAL and only one thing was on him mind. suicide.
