Just a quick question .

A quick question to those who draw .

And a distraction .

I'm not really as depressive as my blogs seem Hahahahhahaahhahahaha .

I usually draw while studying , at a certain point , i feel like my mind is telling me to chill and take a break .

( I usually study with a pen/pencil in my hand to highlight the important lines . )

However , this proved to be a rather bad habit ( for me ) , since i end up drawing and get distracted , to the point i sometimes force myself to study without a thing in my hands just to avoid me getting distracted

( carried away drawing ) .

I also draw in the midst of lectures ( again a bad habit :( )

, but .. that's mostly the times i find myself drawing - spontaneously - .

I don't think i ever drew to vent anger or sadness T^T

I don't know how to pour my emotions on paper like most artists .

Now , the question is .. Are all artists like this ?

I mean .. i guess all artists can do that , to draw things based on their mood and the result always tend to convey it .

those who draw here , Do answer me ! ^.^

I do that too! I get intimidated by others who draw hella better than me but it's because I was programmed to deem art as beautiful when it's realistic or manga-like.

My drawings are a lot like children's drawings and I get judged for it, because I draw the silliest things. Like a flying turtle. BUT I read somewhere,

Art is not supposed to look good. It's supposed to make you feel something.

And I think that's beautiful.

I did tell you once I draw right? It's the only thing I think I'm good at XD ANYWAY yes it's slightly more than a hobby for me now ^^ I like expressing myself through drawings. I'm in a bad mood, I draw. I'm in a good mood, I draw. I'm bored as hell, I doodle

Cute drawings you got there^^ I especially like the one where there's a girl with petals being blown away: really good!
Personnally, I tend to doodle a lot. All my class notes have drawings here and there on them. I even draw during exams xD Even my university teachers have to deal with papers with faces on them. I got that ugly face that I tend to draw everywhere; almost like a trademark xD
I don't draw to express my own feelings, I'm not able to do that because it takes me so long to draw that by the time I'm halfway through the drawing I'm not in the same mindset anymore xD I draw just for fun, out of boredom mostly ^^
Like any artsy thing, I thing it can be a way to express yourself but also just something to pass time and occupy yourself when you're bored or only for fun ^^
