Unpretty Rapstar, Uninteresting Rant

We Are Not A Team, This Is A Competition.

So, I’ve just realized that this show has ended like two weeks ago and gosh what a shame it was that I didn’t do a follow up after the fifth episode last month.

I’ve witnessed it all;

  1. Jessie’s mood swings
  2. Tymee and Jolly V’s cat fight
  3. Lil’ Cham’s replacement
  4. Kisum, Jimin and Cheetah’s love triangle
  5. Kisum transformation from the ‘all hail Jessie unnie to stop spatting English and your fake s’ attack
  6. Umma and daughter system
  7. Eye candies (Yes Jay Park, Yes Verbal Jint, Yes Zico, Yes Gary)

But I guess that’s what happens when you put girls in a pride (and affection) battle, right? Definitely embracing the complication as a girl haaha :D Tough little cookie, yeah!

Ireumi mworago?! (to the drain with my spelling) YUK JIDAM! ‘Oh new clothes, new shoes, new cap’ She’s the most impressive performer for my first episode especially since her embarrassing moments in SMTM3 before. Finally, someone lived up to her talent – our hip hop tease girl. Who could’ve known that there were such energy present in a high schooler? Her reaction when she saw Zico, totally relatable. And oh, not only Jessie admired her but even DOK2 is a fan of hers! FREAKIN DOK2! One holy lucky of a girl.

Swings can hide himself in his cave now cause Kisum has proven that she’s not a talentless beauty and I’m super liking her diss rap towards Jessie lol. Was that the reason why their war began? Her last stage was tear jerking by the way.

And when there’s Kisum, there’s Jimin. I’m not even surprise if there’s a fan base for this pairing already. Jimin looked like a sheep thrown into the lion’s dent but her voice is undeniably attention catching, really. It’s a shame that the title ‘idol rapper’ overshadowed her talent (after all that was what happened to Bobby and Hanbin too). But, her last performance felt like Inkigayo and yes, my heart bloomed a garden of daisies when Iron appeared. (Second hand swagger, baby!). Thank goodness San E stop courting her.

When Vasco said, "The pairs showed that hip hop is not all about swearing and who's tougher" I think he was reminiscing the days when he was bashed for competing in a Rock genre.

“Jidam looks like a nicer version of Jessie”

Heartbreaking moment was when my most entertaining rapper; Tymee left the show T-T TBH, she nailed her last two battle. Not to mention her funny comments turned this show into a gag broadcast (SALUTE HER SENSE OF HUMOUR). Her eagerness to add more props in her performance *cough* Seulong’s track battle *cough* XD However, it’s nice to see her warmed up to Jolly V in the end. Heck, she’s even enjoying Jolly’s performance. (Ask Lil Cham, her tears confirmed that) I think that Jolly definitely showcase her worth in the end.

And congratulations to the fierce Cheetah for crowning champion! Her song, Coma 07 was very touching. Who could’ve known she was a singer who lost the capability to sing? She’s definitely the most consistent rapper and the one who’s been keeping it real the whole time. I’ve been rooting for Jessie but she was placed second L Personally, Jessie’s strength is her voice while Cheetah for me is her lyrics. When Jessie rapped too much in English, I think the Korean fans finally understood how it felt to be an international fan in a K-pop concert.

Idk why did my tears fell when they hugged each other. Especially San E’s song as the bgm. Like wth is wrong with me hahhaha XD And MC Mong was the producer all along? Wow….

My post was late so the interests probably died down already but tell me, what do you think of the show? What’s your favorite song? Who’s your favorite performer?

AND THAT WAS IT WITH MY UNINTERESTING RANT! HAVE A GOOD DAY!

Yes, I'm a bored kid who's currently experiencing writer's block.
