Joori is the definition of what's cute and innocent in a woman. As a popular ulzzang, Joori knows she's cute, but doesn't like boasting about it. She's actually really humble about her popularity. She's the best at aegyo, with her stature. She gets mistaken as the maknae with her young face, which doesn't bother her. She knows she's got a baby face and she's kind of proud of it. 

Long, pretty hair, Round eyes, straight nose bridge, and a cute smile sum up Joori's facial appearance. She's tiny in stature, and she's not a big fan of heels because she doesn't want to wobble in them, so she looks even tinier in comparision to the group when they wear heels.

Joori has a tiny problem being foolish. She'll easily believe anything, which can sometimes be used to other's advantages. She's also very attentive. Almost too attentive, being the mom and worrying and being anxious all the time about the other's well beings. She's also unlucky when it comes to mishaps during stages. Either she'll fall, go the wrong way, she's not exactly the best dancer in Enchanted. 

That being said, Joori is very mature, regardless of how childish she can come off. She knows a lot more than she lets on. She just lacks common sense sometimes. She's very bright and brave, not afraid to do things that others might not, even admitting to her mistakes when brought up. Also, she's very good at making decisions. If the group is ever stuck on what to do, like where to eat or the like, she's the one that can usually push them to make a final decision.

Joori is the only child of the Choi doctors, and it was a little lonely growing up, if she was honest. So she pretended that one of her friends who had the same last name as her was her big brother. His name was Minho, and they loved each other very much. They went through grade school together, and then when they were in high school, Minho went off to pursue his dream of being a famous model at SM. She missed her best friend/brother terribly, but supported his decision and hoped that he would succeed.
In middle school, her grandmother moved in with her family, giving her someone to talk to. Her grandmother was very fond of Joori, frequently making her tea or something sweet before she came home from school. She's the one Joori would always keep in contact with. She would also ask about Minho a lot, and unforunately, as a SM trainee he couldn't keep in contact with a lot of people. She encouraged Joori to find her own dream to follow like Minho.
During high school, Joori got a lot of attention for being cute and pretty, so she decided to try an ulzzang contest online. She, to her surprise, won and became super popular super quick. She was nicknamed 'Disney Princess' by her followers. After graduation, she was stopped by a talent scout from YG, asking her if she wanted to audition. She decided to, and since her parents didn't really care, when she was accepted she immediately left home and went to become a trainee. Since YG and SM weren't exactly friendly with each other, Joori didn't hear a lot about her friend, Minho, until his debut with 'Replay'. She remembers sitting with some of the fellow trainees, looking into this group called 'SHINee', and hitting the people next to her repeatedly when she saw her best friend's face. she used him as inspiration to complete training and debut.

grandmother — Choi Chaeroung, called "Halmoni" by most everyone // 76 // Retired Nurse // Wise & Understanding. // Joori adores her grandmother, and it's safe to say that the feeling is mutual. Halmoni always calls and checks in on her, asking about the other members, asking about Minho, just to make sure her granddaughter is okay.

mother — Choi Jiyeon // 49 // Surgeon // Distant & Intelligent // Although Jiyeon cares about her daughter, she doesn't have a lot of time. As a surgeon, she's in very high demand and spends long, grueling days at the hospital. She does brag that her daughter is famous and what did her coworkers kids do? Get honors? Oh, how nice. My daughter is going to be nationally known.

He checked in and let her know everything was okay with him and mom, she'd tell him she still had a social life and good grades. He respected her private life at all times, never digging into dating or the like. If she wanted to tell him something, she would. Or he could just get it from his mom later.

TRAINEE life — Joori had a relatively easy trainee life. Because people recongized her from her ulzzang, she was pretty popular among the trainees. She didn't mind, she really liked the fact that she wasn't messed with. That was one of her major concerns when coming in, because she really didn't have any kind of training, and her image was contridicting to her position. She tries to not let that stand in her way. After all, there are tons of cute rappers that everyone likes.

Kim jinwoo, idol (winner)

personality — Jinwoo is a sweetie but very quiet, being the oldest, he tends to sit back and watch the other members play fight amongst themselves. While being the oldest brings a certain sense of responsiblity, he also can kid around when the time is right, as seen in interviews and WINNER TV. He's been through a lot to get where he is, eight years and a survival show, so he's definitely a hard worker and loves what he does. He's extremely determined, making sure he and the members work their hardest to keep pleasing the fans. Jinwoo cares a lot about the fans and s, always making sure to take care of them and keep them happy in any way he can. 

relationship — Jinwoo is quiet, Joori is easily excitable. It's easy to think that they have a bigger than they do, some even thinking that Joori is his baby sister (which he has to vehemently deny, because gosh that would be awkward). He really, really likes Joori, and knows she feels the same, but with WINNER being so new to the industry, a wrong step could ruin everything, and he's worked for too long to let that happen. Joori completely understands, having her own debut to be preparing for, but when the two share the stage or are seen together, no one, even themselves, can't deny the obvious chemistry between them. Joori even goes so far as say that Jinwoo is her ideal type. Rumors flew that Joori was very close to the description that Jinwoo stated as his ideal type. It's not a coincidence. 

history — Joori accidentally stumbled into WINNER's practice, trying to find Suhyun and Chanhyuk for lunch, and apologized before leaving, feeling very embarrassed walking in on a group of hot, sweaty guys who looked at her like she was crazy. When Jinwoo and Mino saw her on their lunch break with AKMU, they couldn't resist going over and tease a little. After doing that, they introduced themselves, saying they really didn't mind and asking if they could be friends. Joori decided she should try, at least, to make friends and accepted. Since then, Jinwoo made sure to run into her a little more often, and conversations started to grow longer. It wasn't until Joori came on set for their Empty MV that Jinwoo realized that he really liked her. He pulled her to the side, stumbling over her words and Joori just laughed in response.
"Yeah, I figured it out weeks ago. Nice to see you caught up~" She . Ever since then they've been a unofficial couple. They hope to be able to date publicly soon.
