BACKGROUND + Meigui is the youngest of two sisters. Since she was young, she expressed her interest in photography, specially fashion (although she also works in Fine Arts, Landscape, Commercial, Nature and sometimes Nudes photography - this one she usually uses herself just to practice.) She got a scholarship (not that she needed it) to study in New York's School of Visual Arts in their Fashion Photography program. She graduated with honors. She also took couses on the side to learn Korean because she was very interested in the culture and also because she wanted to work on the Seoul Branch of her father's company. She comes from a wealthy family, owners of a Clothing Enterprise with branches in different places of the world (New York, Los Angeles, China, Korea, Japan and Spain. They are looking to expand to other countries in the future.) 

Through her friend Gwen, she met Charles, an older boy who became her boyfriend when she was in her last year of high school (17 years) and he was in college (20 years). They were together for 4 years, she was 21 and he was 24 when they broke up. He wanted to stop her from traveling to do her work, he wanted her to stay in her house and in some occasions hinted at her to leave the carreer of photographer and pursue something with "more value." She wasn't about to let her work and what she loved for him so she decided it was best to stop being together. This brought a bit of conflict because they were in the talks of getting married when she turned 23. She talked with her parents, that she wanted to move to Korea and work in the Seoul Branch as a photographer. At first her dad was not very fond of the idea because they had already warmed up to the idea that she would be living in New York and she was going to get married but at the end her mom convinced her dad. 

She moved to Korea and started working as the photographer, still sometimes she was asked to make corporate decisions since she was actually the boses daughter but she tried to keep that as quiet as possible, only a few knew. When she turned 23, she received a call from her dad telling her she was going to have to go to a Matchmaker. Meigui was taken aback and she didn't want to because, again, it was a way of controlling her life. At the end she accepeted because it was her grandma's wishes that she got married or at least found a future husband before she died. Her grandma heard about the popularity of Miss Bae Yena and since Meigui was already in Seoul, she took that as the perfect opportunity for her granddaughter to find a good husband. Meigui had a soft spot for her grandma, she used to visit China every summer and christmas with her family and her grandma always consented her. Also, she was starting to feel lonely and actually wanted someone that would love her and appreciate her. She thought that maybe a Matchmaker would make a better work than her friend. 

PERSONALITY + Meigui has an outgoing personality. She's very happy and positive, something she learned from her mom. She likes to see things on a positive light rather than in a negative, although she sometimes gets too rational which makes her sound negative in the ears of others. She likes to work and do things right, which can sometimes fall in trying to be too perfectionist and makes people around her get annoyed easily. Still, she is very social and people like her, just not much when she gets irritating. She's very honest, something people in her line of work like but, something that not other people like so much. She sometimes doesn't measure her words and can be misinterpreted. 

She has also an adventurous side, she likes going out in the city and take pictures. She usually is very polite with older people, because they remind her of her grandma. She also has a strong character, something she picked up from her sister, but that she controls very well because she has a bit more patience than her. She is very creative (which comes with the line of work) and dynamic (which can sometimes make her look out of place if she's outside.) Since she was raised in the United States, she sometimes expresses her feelings and emotions differently which makes people look at her weird. She is one that apologizes quickly if she knows she has done something wrong but if she doesn't believe she has, she will not apologize. That has gotten her into trouble a couple of times, mostly with people her own age (more when she was young) that think they know everything.

liang Meigui/ Rose

was born on november 7, 1991 from a CHINESE father and an AMERICAN mother in New York,. Currently 23

 years old, she grew up in new york thus making her fluent in chinese and english. Standing at 166cm for 55kg, character name is notably known for looking like lee dasom or even sometimes HUANG YI LIN. She currently works as a/an freelance photographer for Liang Clothing Enterprise, Seoul Branch (family business.) But she also works for different companies around the world. 

PERSONALITY + Zhang Yixing is a very bright man with a more laid back/serious side (comes with his line of work). Still, he has a humorous side that he doesn't show to anyone because he has an image to uphold, only close family and friends know both his sides. He is very hardworking and is the kind of man that would stay awake long hours after all the office has cleared out just to finish all his duties and maybe start more work. He likes to travel because he loves visiting new places and know about the different cultures and how they work. This gives him insight and ideas in his work and what decisions are best. He is caring, kind, polite and very loyal; his family is first priority always. He is very observant and even if people think he is not paying attention, he is. As long as you don't mess with him and his beliefs, you will be on his good side but if you do, you better prepare yourself. He doesn't do things against the law but with just words, he will make you swallow your own. When he's nervous he scratches the back of his neck and when he's happy he doesn't fail to show it with a smile. He sometimes can be a tease but that will only happen if he trusts you really well. Only his friends know this side of him because when he became a diplomat, he knew he couldn't show his personality to anyone. He knows he will show this side to his future girlfriend/wife.

RELATIONSHIP + When they first meet each other, they would both act awkward at first since the Matchmaking thing is a whole new thing for both of them (Yixing has to find someone who will meet his expectations and will accept all his sides and Meigui must find someone who meets hers and her grandma's). Yixing would at firts treat the whole thing as business with a collegue because that's the only thing he knows he's good at. That will go a bit against Meigui because she's surrounded by all the bureocracy of a company and she's lived around it all her life but she's willing to try things out because she kinda understands thats the kind of person he is. When he starts to open up to her, he will start to smile a bit more and he would get nervous at some point. She will show it through her habit of tucking her hair behind her ear, she will usually listen to music before meeting with him to try and calm down because music helps with her nervousness. He will be a genetleman with her always and she, in occasions, will try and look more "girly" for him (maybe use a dress instead of a blouse and jeans). Since he is so observant, he will notice things about her, how she behaves and her little habits and find them cute at some point.

WHY DO YOU WANT TO BE MATCH-MADE? + One of my first reasons to be matchmade is because my grandma is getting old and she wishes to see me with a partner or married before she dies. But most of all, I want to be matchmade because I had a bad experience in a relationship arranged by a friend and I suppose Miss Bae Yena will do a much better job than my friend. Also, I've been feeling alone and I'm starting to think I do need a partner. 

WHAT IS YOUR IDEAL MAN LIKE? + My ideal man is someone who understands me, who will support my dreams and work, that will not try to control my every move but that most of all will love me dearly and care for me. I'm not looking for someone who will leave his dreams or leave everything he has in life for me but someone who will share with me his dreams so that we will work together to make both come work. If we can both compromise, that is enough for me. He also has to be kind and polite and he has to respect me and my family. 

WHAT IS YOUR PERFECT FIRST DATE? + It may sound a bit corny but as long as I'm with him, it will be a perfect date. But if I have to decide, I would say dinner or maybe even a picnik under the moonlight or a starry sky. I like being surrounded by nature and the night sky so that would actually make a perfect date. The food, I'm not picky so if it's a picnik, I will be happy with eating whatever he comes up with because he did it himself and that counts for a lot. If it's a restaurant, I will orden something I like. If the date were in a restaurant, I would love it to be music played by a piano or a violin since that kind of music soothes me. If it's a picnik, I'm great with a small radio, we can listen to whatever we want. I'm not a demanding person, as long as the date is unforgettable, it will become a perfect date.

SCENE REQUESTS + I imagine one of the first scenes when they meet each other, them being very awkward, he is treating her very politely, too much, and she's trying to tell him to lighten up a bit but he doesn't. She would get a bit frustrated at first but as she gets to know him she would notice that's who he is and she will find it adorable. She would giggle as a way of letting out the emotions. (I imagine this being like a funny scene, I don't know if I conveyed the funny vibe though.)

I don't know how many dates they are supposed to have so you could write this depending on what you have in mind: since he is so proper, he doesn't know how to act, he doesn't make a move so she at least wants to hold his hand or maybe at least take his arm to feel like they are on a date and she tries to do it discretly and in a way he won't feel uncomfortable but she fails. He finally notices and makes the move (I would leave it to you to decide if he would take her hand or offer her arm, depending on when this scene would happen. I also imagine it being funny.)

Kissing scene on the cheek: I imagine something with her friend Richard, maybe he isn't too fond of the idea of her going out that day because he doesn't believe Yixing actually likes her. Meigui dismisses his thoughts because she really wants everything  to work out. Yixing is supposed to pick her up, when she goes downstairs, Richard goes down with her and Yixing notices (men know when another man likes a girl). Yixing can take her hand at that time and even greet her with a kiss on the cheek which takes her by surprise. 

Kissing scene on the lips: she wouldn't want to be the one to make the first move and she would be struggling with herself because she has taken the inniative in some things but she doesn't want to do that in this case. She doesn't know if he likes her likes her so she doesn't want to look too desperate. I imagine it maybe at the end of the evening when she has lot all her hope, maybe he will make the move.
