While Yejin on stage is this cute, feisty girl with short hair who has all the confidence in the world, there's another side of her, Beth. Beth is just that girl from Portland, Oregon who didn't really fit in. The difference? The hair. The little stylish blonde bob that Yejin dons on stage and on camera is actually a wig. Beth has long, dark hair that covers her face a lot, and is only seen in the dorms and in the practice room when no one comes in. 

Yejin has large brown eyes, a button nose, and a bunny smile with pink lips. She's pretty tall and has curves, so it's nice to see when she wears tighter clothing. Her favorite part of her body are her legs, so she hardly covers them. She does, however, do so when they go to formal award shows. She also has tattoos of stars right on her wrist (01 02).

When it comes to fashion, both Yejin and Beth have very similar styles. The only slight difference is that Yejin is more fashionable and wears accessories, while Beth chooses to wear an oversized shirt and shorts with boots and calls it a day. She has a thing for high waisted shorts and pants, and prefers them over dresses or skirts. She does wear them for formal events, however, she feels like a dress restricts her movement.

For the positive side of Yejin, she's very confident. She knows she looks good, she knows she's talented, and she's not intimidated by having to meet people who've been in the game longer than she has. This sometimes borderlines on the side of vain, but as she says, "Confidence is known and acknowledging that you're always cute and a queen. Vainity is saying you're queen over everyone and the only pretty one in the room. Which, in the mornings..." She loved meeting people, and has little problem making friends. Yejin also has a LOT of energy and enthusiasm, always eager to learn and improve where she can. She's usually seen going out of her way to rehearse or compose songs. She's also very compassionate, always looking out for her fellow members. She's one of the youngest, but she doesn't mind, she just likes seeing people smile. You'll never see her be negative about a real life situation. Even if she's having a rough time, she'll smile brightly and make sure you're getting better first.If you're a friend in need of help, you can bet Yejin will be there to help you out. She once snuck out of the dorm to go and help a friend who didn't want to walk back alone late at night.

Now as sweet and nice as Yejin can be, she's got some major flaws that can get in the way of seeing her good side sometimes. For one, she's a drama queen. Usually she does it for laughs, but sometimes she takes it too far. Spilled her milk? Ruined her day. Wore the shirt she thought about wearing last week? Thief. Ate the last pudding she wasn't going to eat anyways? She's probably going to starve. The best thing to do when she's like this is to just ignore, she'll compose herself in a few minutes. Another flaw is that she's very short-tempered. She tries to polite, but there are times where people just get on her nerves and she just has to say something, usually telling them to be quiet or to go away. Her implusive nature causes the early graying on their manager's head. She's suggested (and attempted) more than once to sneak out. Why? "They haven't been to a night club before!" or "They wanted their favorite bubble tea, we just wanted to get some then come back!" Regardless of the time or if there's a schedule. On top of that, she can be very impatient, especially when she's on a deadline with songwriting. If it's not coming to her, she gets really frustrated and mumbles in Chinese to herself, usually curse words.

one — Makeup. It's one of Yejin's favorite things. Her favorite brand is Revlon because of the bright colors offered in their palettes, but she wants to be a makeup model one day.
two — Western food. Oh man, when she's got an appetite, she'll get a burger and fries without blinking twice. And don't forget that milkshake as dessert!
three — She LOVES kids. It's probably because she has a baby brother (and one on the way) back home. 
four — Hair dye. She may not dye her hair all that much, but the different colors and the process always interests her. She vows that one day she'll do something with her natural hair.
five — Being from Portland, where it's cold and snowy seven months out of twelve, she loves sunny days and the beach.
six — Coffee? Coffee, you say? Please share with Yejin! She loves all kinds of coffee, be it iced, hot, frappe, black, with milk, any way you can have coffee, Yejin will like it.
seven — Song writing. She has at least six journals filled with lyrics, melodies, even chord progressions back at the dorm. She carries one with her at all times in case she gets an idea.
eight — The smell of pine reminds her of back home, so she keeps scented candles of the scent in the dorm to make sure she doesn't get too homesick.

one — She hates feeling ignored. If it's one of her drama spiels, she'll be a little more understanding, but if she's being ignored during an interview or in general... "Yah! Pay attention to me, I'm important too!"
two — She hates sitting in the back seat of the car. She has to sit in the front and she's unable to sleep during them, too. She just feels uncomfortable in them.
three — Tea. She dislikes all types of tea, even bubble tea. She doesn't know why, so sometimes when they're at the cafe, she orders an iced coffee with boba. It's not half bad.
four —  Star Trek. Her mom was/is a huge fan of it, and when she was learning Chinese her mom sat her in front of the TV and made her translate some of the lines as homework.
five — Ice, it's hard to walk on and it hurts when you fall on it. Yejin dislikes a LOT.
six — Sour candy. It feels like her taste buds have been melted off when she eats them.

one — She tends to fix her wig every so often on camera when she's done performing. She doesn't want it to fall off. 
two — She traces her star tattoo to calm herself when she's nervous.
three — Mutters while writing in either Chinese or English. She only writes in Korean since she's been a trainee.
four — Skinship? Yejin's guilty of it. She's super affectionate to her friends, her members, and her 'baes' as she calls them. She frequently gets caught/called out on kissing people's cheeks or holding onto them tightly if they'll let her.
Five — When she does her infamously bad aegyo, and no one's impressed, she does natural aegyo that's really cute. She insists it's only cute when she's trying. People disagree.

— hobbies

one — Vlogging and doing song covers or sneak peeks. She says it gives the fans something to look forward to when they aren't promoting. She also just likes catching her members on candid film.
two — She LOVES variety shows, and is frequently seen watching them on her phone when waiting. She wants to be on all of the variety shows at some point in her career, especially WGM.
three — Knitting. Call it old fashioned, but she finds it a nice passtime. She swears she'll make every member something one day when she gets better at it.
four — Song Writing, of course! She's been writing songs since she was 14, so she's got a lot of material stored up to use for Enchanted!
five — Learning instruments. She already has piano and guitar, which is really helpful with composing, and she wants to learn more, including the drums, saxaphone, and maybe the violin.

— other facts

one — She never planned on actually auditioning to be an idol. She and her friends were on vacation in California, and JYP was holding their global auditions there. Needless to say, her friends convinced her to try.
two — She admires and frequently admits to wanting to be like Ailee. She also admires Choa from AOA, Taeyeon and Sunny of SNSD, 15&, and Girl's Day Yuri.
three — She wants to do a special stage with Enchanted covering another group's song. She thinks it'd be a lot of fun.

seven — When she's really embarrassed (happens rarely), she'll get really red, cover her face with her arms, and attempt to hide. She lets out this shriek when she does this, making it even more apparent that she's embarrassed. 
eight — When asked who her ideal type is, she'll mumble into her hand, trying to avoid the question. Eventually she will admit her ideal type would be someone who has a wonderful voice, a bright smile, and someone who will only love her. Someone brought up that it sounded like someone in EXO and she immediately denied it.
nine — Yejin knows two instruments: Piano and guitar. You can hear her using them frequently at odd times when she's trying to do chord progressions and melody development.
ten — The whole Yejin/Beth thing really helps her out when she wants to go out. When she goes out without her wig, a lot of people just say oh, you like like Yejin, and she'll be like "Really? I get that alot!" while laughing.

— we may not have it all together, but together we have it all

Yejin's parents aren't actually her real parents. She was adopted from a very young age, with no memory of her real ones. All she knows is that she sees pictures of herself at around the age of three with her parents now, and she thinks she was an adorable kid. She doesn't see herself as some sad orphan, rather, she sees herself as a lucky kid who got a great family. The Parks were nothing but sweet and loving, supporting her through all of her phases (Like the scene/emo phase. You know the one I'm talking about.) in her life and telling her they'll be with her every step of the way.
Her family got a new addition to the family when she was 15, a baby boy named Henry. Yejin adored that kid, and even taught him to call her 'noona' or 'jiejie'. He came up with Bejie-noona, so it's close enough, right? 
At school, she wasn't really bullied or treated any differently. She had a pretty decent school life, she was pretty smart (Her mother had a docorate, of course she was raised to be smart). When she was in fourth grade, she joined choir and told her parents she liked music. Immediately they enrolled her in music lessons, with different instruments and in voice. So she got some really big confidence growing up, having to give recitals every year with her lessons. Her dad was a lawyer, so she joined the Debate club and did well with her confidence and stage presence. But she always preferred performing over that, so her junior year she quit and focused on music. She had taken a break coming into highschool from songwriting, but that year she picked it back up and never put it back down. 
The summer of her senior year, she and her friends planned a trip to L.A., and her parents let her go after some MAJOR convincing. It's not that they didn't trust their daughter, but she was still young and things could happen in L.A. She ended up going with them, and they stumbled across JYP's global open auditions. Her friends immediately pushed her to do it, because she was talented and why not, Yejin? So she did. When she got accepted, she had to tell her parents. They were actually relieved that she did that instead of getting a tattoo or something (which she totally didn't get her star tattoo while she was down there) and let her go and become a trainee instead of pursuing college.

Father — Mr. Charles "Chuck" Park // 43 // Lawyer // Supportive & Intelligent // Chuck really cares about Yejin, ever since she came home with them all those years ago after the final paperwork was signed. He wants her to succeed in whatever she does, and even though he's busy with cases, he can't wait to watch her debut.

mother — Ms. Julie Park // 41 // former missonary, Chinese professor // Overprotective & Caring // Julie, much like her husband, greatly cares for Yejin. She might be overbearing and put pressure on Yejin, but that's because she knows what her daughter is capable of and pushes her to do it. She will switch to Chinese randomly in conversations to reinforce Yejin's learning from when she was growing up. She still hasn't told Yejin that she's pregnant again. We'll see how that goes.

brother — Henry Park // 5 // resident lady killer at preschool // Observant & Easily Amused // Henry adores his 'Bejie-noona', and wants to actually see her rather than look at her through a screen. He may be young, but he knows how to count to twenty in Chinese already and he thinks that's pretty great. He also knows that Yejin is a great singer, the best even and wants her to do well.

best friend — Jimin Park // 17 // 15& member // Quirky & Passionate // Jimin and Yejin just kind of clicked when they first met. Jimin was so young and so talented, and Yejin was like the older sister Jimin didn't have. They both bonded over being the oldest in their families, and trained together often. Yejin has promised to write 15& a song before long.

friend crush— Amber Liu // 22 // f(x) member & solo artist // Outgoing & Friendly // When Enchanted was training in different buildings, Yejin ran into Amber and immediately got a crush. This type of a crush slowly grew into "I have to be her best friend". Amber considers her a new friend, and this elates Yejin.

this guy friend — Mark Tuan // 21 // GOT7 Member // Quiet & Playful // Mark is her best guy friend. They were at the same audition together and bonded over the fact that they both did this on a whim. Yejin has even met Mark's parents and they love her a lot, like their own daughter. 

another one — Jackson Wang // 20 // GOT7 Member // Loud & Outgoing // You can't have Mark without Jackson, so Yejin didn't have much choice on the matter on whether or not she became friends with him. They like to mess with each other, but Mark usually ends up in the middle of it and Jackson then blames it on her.

the precious child — Bambam // 17 // GOT7 Member // Cute & Childish // The youngest of the trio of boys she's befriended, She sees Bambam like her child who must be protected (especially from Jackson) at all costs. She's that annoying big sister who keeps asking him if he'll get a girlfriend anytime soon. He shoots back by asking about her crush and that usually shuts her up.

TRAINEE life — It was actually kinda hard on her. She did her best, watched her friends debuted and worked even harder. A lot of her sadder songs about being alone came from this period. She wanted to debut so badly and show that she can do it to her family and friends back home, and it just seemed like she was going nowhere. She was thankful that she did make friends so easily and that her easier to notice, since she was starting to be mentioned a lot by Jimin, and the foreign trio in GOT7. So, with good things said and hard work to prove it, the company decided to giv eher a chance to debut.

scandals 

dating — Once, out of nowhere, Yejin posted a video that said "Coffee Date With Baekhyun!" which, indeed, had EXO's Baekhyun as her guest. The two were rather close and rumors happened. Both parties denied it and the video was taken down.

Byun baekhyun

personality — Baekhyun is basically the definition of an idol. He's bubbly, he's cute, and he's got a voice to die for. He's very much a jokester, being apart of the Beagle line and can't seem to keep himself out of trouble. He loves his fans and s very much, and puts a lot of effort and time into perfecting every note, every move and it can be shown in the performances he gives. He's willing to give his all for his dream, and he's been super successful so far. 

relationship — Baekhyun and Yejin met through MCing on Inkigayo. They spent a lot of time together, having fun and joking around, annoying the other MCs. When Baekhyun decided to do "Coffee Date" with Yejin, she was estatic and nervous for some reason. Once they got to recording and going around outside, Yejin started to figure out that she didn't have just platonic feelings for Baekhyun anymore. She liked him more than that, and she didn't want to cause a scandal because it was already announced that he was dating Taeyeon. She didn't want to cause any problems, so she tried to surpress the feelings. Baekhyun felt similarly as well, but because of his relationship with Taeyeon, he is unable to do anything. So they sort of flirt subtlely. People think it's just friendly, but both of them start to get an idea that it's not one sided on either side. 

history — Yejin was still relatively new to the music scene, and JYP wanted to promote someone with excellent stage presence, so they picked Yejin to become an MC along with Suho, Baekhyun, and Kwanghee. She was intitally very nervous, but Baekhyun immediately took to her and made her more comfortable. He didn't expect to get too attached, but somewhere down the line, he fonud himself staring a little too long at her and daydreaming about her smiling at him. The same goes to Yejin. As soon as he swung an arm around her neck, pulling her close to him and smiling at her, that her heart was his. They both do care about each other a lot, enough to try and supress their feelings with small touches and lingering stares.
