Super Junior's Donghae and Eunhyuk recently made a comeback as D&E, releasing their first ever sub-unit album, 'The Beat Goes On,' and drawing much attention for their strong relationship as well as their new music and performance style aside from what they've shown through promoting as Super Junior.

Prior to their showcase performance, they revealed their thoughts on creating a new unit group of two as well as the thoughts that other members had when they found out about their release.

When asked how they decided to work together, Donghae revealed, "First off, we are similar in height and our style of music is very alike. We also performed together since 'SuperShow 1.' I also asked Eunhyuk to do it with me because it would be lonely to do it alone and I know I get lonely easily. Ever since 'Oppa, Oppa,' we've had great opportunities [to work together] and now we're here."

Eunhyuk added, "There were members who wanted to be in our unit, as well. Siwon wanted to be on stage with us and even said, 'Can't we do it together?  Does it have to be just the two of you doing it?' When I told him, 'You just focus on acting,' he got sulky. Leeteuk andKangin would say, 'You guys look good together,' but they secretly wanted to do it with us as, well.

However, Eunhyuk went on to say that he was very content working with just Donghae, displaying loyalty and affection towards his fellow unit member.

Meanwhile, D&E's first album, 'The Beat Goes On,' is comprised of seven tracks, including the title track, "Growing Pains."
