appearance »  Seuk Jin stands 168 cm and weighs 52 kg. Her brown eyes are one of her key feature especially when sun shines on it.  Before her hair is long reaching almost her waist but after joining Jellyfish Entertainment she decided to cut it because for Seuk Jin her short hair signifies a fresh start to an untold journey. Another thing that mark Seuk Jin are  the mole's on her left and right shoulders (and symmetrically positioned)  and according to Chinese Reading's her right mole signify courage to stand up when all else fails while her left shoulder signify success in her career. Seuk Jin also have this birtmark at her back which means that Seuk Jin is an open-minded and truthful person. 
sTYLE » Seuk Jin personally doesn't follow everyone's style. She wear whatever I want, and her look depends on her mood. She wear new clothes and mixed it with her old ones to create a new style. She usually dresses casually, usually denim, sneakers, printed shirts and sometimes tank tops. Sweat suits, hooded shirts, sweaters, and sweat pants are surely part of her closet. Seuk Jin have no problem with other clothings as long as it doesn't reveal too much skin.

BACKGROUND » Kim Seuk Jin is born on a cold winter moring of April 29, 1994 at her father's hometown which is in Gwangju Province. Her father ( Kim Dong Hoon ) is a  businessman  who is successful on expanding his inherited business around South Korea and even to some places abroad. Seuk Jin's mother ( Kim Jihyun ) who mastered Liberal Arts Education is  a  professor  at EWHA Women's University. She started teaching on 2006 and still sticking to it. Kim Dong Hoon and Kim Jihyun have two offsprings; the oldest ( Kim Dae Ho ) is a medical practitioner at Seoul St. Mary's Hospital and very serious at his profession and the youngest one which Seuk Jin, a girl who grew up with music ( which is unusual in her family because they are all career and education focus ) and wants to pursue singing when she reached the right age. 

Due to the expanding business of her father her family have to migrate to the Philippines because that's what the head of the family says. Seuk Jin was 6 years old at the time they moved and was about to start schooling so in order to cope up with the other kids she and her older brother started taking English lessons at home. Seuk Jin is a born artist (literally an artist who likes to draw) at a young age she already have created art pieces, which is displayed at her room. At that time she knew that she has the voice to sing but she is not taking it seriously so when her bestfriend at school joined the choir and encourage her to also join well let's just say she joined too. In 2006 when her father's business is all good and stable they went back to South Korea.  

Instead of going back to the province her father decided that they should permanently reside at Seoul because it's more convenient and her older brother will enter college few years from that time. Seuk Jin enters a normal school but when 2007 came she asked her parents  if she can audition to SM Academy and her parents were a little bit shocked but they let her do what she want and gladly she passed the auditions and started studying or leaning music in SMA. For 3 years she endured everything in SMA from the everyday vocal lessons and such. Well she have to because that's what she wants. During SMA Seuk Jin learns what she really wants in life and that is to be a singer. In 2010 she dropped from SMA and at the same year when she heared that Superstar K will have auditions for it's third season she taked the opportunity and auditioned and she didn't expect that she will pased round 1 until she reached the top 11 of the show and got eliminated at the 8th episode.   


PERSONALITY » "I'd say that I'm a very friendly, outgoing, happy person who just wants to make the people around me happy"  Well the first stand out personality of Seuk jin is her outgoing side or the extrovert on the psychological way. Seuk Jin is interested on what is happening around her. She's an open and talkative person. She's the breaker of icy relationships. Growing up around people; meeting new people and having friends with a different nationality ( chinese, japanese, and filipinos ) helps her on becoming an extrovert person. "become a risk taker not a risk maker"  Seuk Jin is part of the rish takers. She lives in the world of action instead living on a world full of dramas. Seuk Jin doesn't hide in her own shell she is always outside of it because being a risk taker open's up everything it makes life easier and it teaches you how to grow even though it's an inch or a foot. Being a risk taker also teaches you to decide by yourself and accept your own decision. "The golden opportunity you are seeking is in yourself. It is not in your environment; it is not in luck or chance, or the help of others; it is in yourself alone" For Seuk Jin every opportunity is important. It gives you the test on how to balance your decisions well. Every learning opportunity that will came in her life she will grab it and will enrich this opportunity. Opportunities are also one of the reason that helps a people to grow. "The more observant he or she can be, the more vivid will be the world you're creating." Seuk Jin have this uncanny ability to perceive peoples attitude and emotion; she can pick up on little clues which go completely unnoticed by others such as a change in a person's facial expression and even.... stance. This is the introvert type of her she likes to socialize and at the same time she observes a person after meeting them taking notes of her habits, the way he or she speaks well it's a personality habit that she can't avoid doing."if you can't be flexible in life, you became irritable with life" the other definition of her extrovert side is being flexible ( not literally flexible, bending and braking bones ) she can cope up with different type of people and their clashing personalities. Her flexebility even helps her in training when the instructor teaches a new way or how you should sing a song she easily get's it and will only take a few trial to fully do it. This also goes on dancing when a new move is taught Seuk Jin can copy and understand it but since she is not really the dancer type she can execute it into a satisfactory level. "I'm not ashamed of anything that I've done because when I did it, I was passionate about it and I was doing it for a reason." When it comes to the things she likes and has the passion for it ( which is singing and drawing ) Seuk Jin always do her best. Her strategy is she will focus more on areas where she lacks at and at same time she still sharpen's the area she is good at. Seuk Jin believes that passion should always be use because you cannot find passion anywhere, it is not sold or someone will just give it to you. Passion can only be find on your inner self because you yourself should who you are and what you truly wants. Passion is one of the key for your dreams. "I realize that humor isn't for everyone. It's only for people who want to have fun, enjoy life, and feel alive" While Seuk Jin can take some things seriously she also has this offbeat sense of humor. She usually jokes around and if you want to do something like hanging out or eating she is one of the person that you should ask because she is always on the go for things likes that. 


"I'm a blunt person, not mean-spirited. I come from a place of love, but I'm interested in being real." Seuk Jin can be "hurtful" to other people on the way she speak or criticize them and Seuk Jin is not usually aware of it. It's not that she doesn't care what other's really feel because there are times that she overthink that being blunt or straightforward's is always okay. "there are times in life that you need to be a callous clown" Yes Seuk Jin can be a callous or an unemotional person. She doesn't like to show how weak she is when bad times come. Seuk Jin wants to be the reliable person on a group not the burden. "no to others syndrome" Seuk Jin have this so called syndrome that maybe exist on other people  to. Seuk Jin has difficulty on declining other people's request. That eventhough she has burdens on her back she will always accept favors that will come. "I'm an impatient person in many respects. I like to put myself in uncomfortable situations. It forces me to deliver" Everyone is impatient admit it. Everyone doesn't want to wait for a long time and Seuk Jin is one of them . Seuk Jin will start nagging and be impatient when there are things that needs to be passed on a short time and the deadline is almost near. Her impantience can trigger her anxiety sometimes that's why she practices on how to keep calm when situations like that came. "I could be a morning person, if morning happened around noon" Seuk Jin doesn't like to wake up VERY EARLY in the morning. If shee needs to wake up very early she need to set up atleast 3 alarms on her phone. Every morning after a few minutes of waking up she is on a zombie mode. She cannot start her day without drinking 2 - 4 cups of coffee. But when she became a trainee she is slowly turning into a morning person.  "i'm not clumsy. the floor just hates me. the table and chairs are bullies, and the wall gets in my way" Another part of the klutz family is Seuk Jin. She is accident prone mostly on the morning since we all knew that she is not a morning person so every morning she is absent-minded and will tend to stumble on the floor upon waking up, dropping a mug when she is about to drink coffee or tea, bumps the door and other klutzy thing. Once she became a morning person for sure her clumsiness will also go away.

» Father | Kim Dong Hoon | 55 | Businessman |  Seuk Jin's father  which  is the pillar of strength, support and discipline of their family. He's a good father who strongly disapproves of his children's wrong doings and misdeeds, using tough love to prove a point. He does this through the power of his words, not his fist. Seuk Jin's father is open-minded he doesn't maintain a "gold standard or golden rule".  He really tries to be open-minded and to be understanding towards them.But Seuk jin's father is really stingy he doesn't like to buy things which has no sense just like a flat screen tv because according to him since their tv is still working their is no reason to buy a new one. 

» Mother | Kim Jihyun | 45 | Libreal Arts Professor | She's the type that never lets her children take what they have for granted. From the food on the table, the good education they are paying for, she makes sure that her children see the value in everything they have. She doesn't want her children to treat her and her husband like an ATM. She also teaches her children to deal with conflict with a family member and with others by being firm but reasonable at the same time. Eventhough she gets upset at her children's faults and may lament that they did not attain what she hoped for them, a mother loves her children no less for it.

» Older Brother | Kim Dae ho | 28 | Medical Practitioner | He is an evil older brother he likes bullying Seuk Jin and playing pranks on her. But because of that they grew closer togethe. He can be a protective brother when it comes to guys roaming arround her sister. Right now Dae ho's persona is the "generous brother" because whenever he and Seuk Jin went out he always buy her different things which Seuk Jin is really happy about.Seuk Jin doesn't mind if there are any defects in his brother right now because of his current generous persona.

But when she met Seuk Jin they clicked immediately it's like looking at a mirror because they have many things in common and they have a trait that the one have and the others doesn't. THE STORY.

THE PAST » It was also 2010 when she decided to audition for Superstar K3. She passed audition and became part of the shows Top 11 but after that she got eliminated. The judges always says to Seuk Jin that eventhough she is not a powerful singer she has a voice suited for lovely and solemn songs. She has her own singing style that makes her unique. After getting eliminated, LOEN Entertainment offered her a contract that if she joined LOEN she will debut as a solo artist the following year. She signed the contract because she believed that this is the way in reaching her dreams. 2011 - 2012 was the longest years for Seuk Jin because her schedule is so tight from trainings and recordings. Everything was set the only thing that she is waiting for is the date of her debut. She waited until for her debut date until 2013 came. During that time Seuk Jin's hope of being able to debut began crashing down. She even felt bad more when people surrounding her started saying that she'll never get a chance to debut (mostly the staff and other trainees). She forfeited her contract at LOEN Entertainment in August 2013. It was more heartbreaking when LOEN let her forfeit her contract without even telling her the reason why she did not debut. (Her debut song was suppose to be Diamond originally by: soyou of sistar) 

It was January 2014 when she decided to stand up again. She desperately wanted to be an idol that's why she never gave up on her dreams. She auditioned for different entertainment companies intstead of auditioning to another singing show. From TS, Starship, J.Tune and until she got accepted at Jellyfish Entertainment. Seuk Jin said to herself that Jellyfish will be her last chance that after a year if she won't debut she'll finally let her dreams go and she'll go back studying and start a normal life. 


Extra: The reason why LOEN Entertainment released her easily is because they can't see anything special to her unlike IU. They think that Seuk Jin is just an average person who can sing. But right now Seuk Jin is now a different person she is now an improved and strong-willed person who is hungry for debut.

THE REASON » Upon joining Jellyfish Entertainment the CEO asked her how desperate is she to debut and she answered right away that she is hungry for the stage because it's been her life long dream. She came back from a post-dream to debut and she'll do anything and she'll work hard until she reached it. The CEO even mention that he know about Seuk Jin's solo debut as "Josa" and he promised that if Seuk Jin improved her vocals and dancing she'll finally reach her dreams. He even mentioned that she will be a temporary member of AVE wherein she can replaced anytime.

personality »Iron is really passionate especially on rapping. He’s the sentimental type but he likes to keep it a secret. He likes lame jokes so much like his fashion sense (which Seuk Jin really likes so much). He likes it more when he have common interest with a person rather than he’ll fill the missing part of a person (weird right?). Most of the time you’ll see him smiling but when he’s serious you’ll like him even more because it shows the real Iron. Because of his strong image people always thought that he's selfless, that he can do things on his own but actually he is just like every one of us. A person that needs help and understanding. Seuk Jin always see this side of Iron that instead of being pity to him Seuk Jin tends to be the person that is always beside him. She'll always give her full support. Because of this Iron tends to be shy around her and sometimes acts coldly despite his strong willed image and the (which they actually don't mind). He shows his different and random sides toSeuk Jin. You know his jealous when he started being noisy. He'll rap random things or sing reggae. In a relationship he's more like the possessive / serious type with a sense of style (lol). 

FIRST MEETING » Thanks to her older brother the 2 of them met. Iron is Seuk Jin's older brother's close friend (she didn't know it). So it was a day after Seuk Jin's birthday and Dae Ho promised that he'll treat her dinner that day. So Seuk Jin arrived at her favorite Korean Barbeque Restaurant and her brother was still nowhere to be seen. She waited for 30 minutes when she received a text from him saying that he can't come because there is an emergency at the hospital. Seuk Jin was pissed off because she waited for nothing but at the same time she understands her brother's condition.Seuk Jin was about to left when she received another message from his brother that he send someone to be his replacement. So Seuk Jin have no choice but to wait for the replacement. After several minutes... yes, Iron arrived. He said that eventhough  it's a last minute request he can say no to his friend's request. So fast forward the two of them just talk and ate. It was not an awkward meeting (eventhough it's a first meeting) because of Iron's weird vibe and Seuk Jin's random vibe that coincides greatly. After that dinner, Iron accompanied Seuk Jin until she reach home. Before bidding goodbyes Iron asked Seuk Jin's number which she gladly gave to him since it's a token of gratitude for accompanying her.  

love story »  After that they usually hangout if both of them have free times. They mostly exchange messages. And Iron even admitted that Seuk Jin was the first girl that he have talked to for a very long time. (Fact: Her brother doesn't know of Seuk Jin and Iron's communication) There are also times that the two of them are super busy that they haven't talk for 3 straight days  so when they got the time for each other again they just talk with each other for the whole night without sleeping. So the next day Seuk Jin was like a zombie yet she doesn't regret it

RELATIONSHIP » Right now they are getting closer and closer. Seuk Jin is not sure if the usual hangouts of Iron and her is called a date. But who cares as long as they interact Seuk Jin is happy and same as Iron. It was just recently when Sung Joon discovered their close relationship when he saw Iron's wallpaper, a picture of Seuk Jin and Iron at Han River (ohhh) and Dae Ho also remembered that Seuk Jin's recent drawings were mostly Iron Man instead of Zico. By the way the man who Iron usually got jealous at is Zico. Cause you know.
