Our honeymoon sure passed by really fast. Without me realising, its already our last night here. The past few days have been really great except for that one incident though. Kai really planned this trip well. Since its our last night, Kai said that he had planned a special dinner for the both of us. He told me to wear a dress that he had bought for me earlier and I took no time to change as I couldn’t wait for what he has planned next. After changing, we headed out for our special dinner. I wonder what is it.

We walked by the shore and I enjoyed the cool night breeze. It’s my last night here and this would be the last night that I could enjoy this beautiful island and I didn’t want to waste any minute of it. Even though I look at the scenery every single day since I've been here, the beauty of the island never fails to capture me every single time. I can never get tired of it. As I was slowly admiring the beauty of the island one last time, something caught my eye. It was a candle light dinner for 2. Surrounding the table were small candles that formed a heart shape. It was beautiful. I froze there for a moment as I was completely dumbfounded by what Kai had planned for me. Kai went over to the table and pulled out a chair and gestured for me to sit and I immediately followed. Dinner was wonderful. I’m on a beautiful island, with my husband, and a candle light dinner by the sea. What else can I ask for?

After having a good meal, we decided to head back to the hotel as it was getting colder and colder as night fell. We decided to sleep a little later than usual as we wanted to enjoy our last night here. We changed clothes and sat at the balcony of the hotel, with our feet dangling above the water. Kai wrapped one of his arms around me as it was quite cold.

“Kai, thank you,” I said softly.

“No problem, I’m glad you enjoyed the dinner,” he replied with a smile.

“No, not just for the dinner but for everything. You’ve been so patient with me all these while. Even when I pushed you away from my life, you never gave up. You kept trying and trying to make things work between us. No matter how badly I treated you, you still never stopped trying. Especially when it came to my pregnancy. I didn’t take good care of myself but you always made sure that I was eating right and that nothing would happen to me. Even after Ji Hyun was born, you were a great help to me. You always came back when I pushed you away. Thank you for being there for me even when I don’t want you there,” I couldn’t help but let my tears flow as I said it.

“Shhhh….. Don’t worry about it. I should be the one thanking you for coming into my life. You’ve changed me for the better, whether you know it or not. I'm a better person because of you,” Kai said, looking directly into my eyes.

We stared into each other eyes in silent. Then Kai’s face inched closer and closer to mine. I felt as though my heart was going to pop out of my chest. I felt his soft lips on mine. It was soft and warm and sparks began flying in me. I was trying to take in what was happening but Kai’s lips suddenly parted from mine.

“I’m sorry. I shouldn’t have done that. I just thought that - " he stopped as my lips crashed into his.

My arms were around his neck and he wrapped his arms around my body and our kiss continued. Slowly, our passionate kisses turned into sensual kisses. Kai’s hands then lifted my shirt but I stopped him.

“Not here,” I said. Implying that others would be able to see us.

Without a moment to lose, he lifted me up in his arms and walked to the bed, not breaking our kiss even for a second. He immediately undressed me and I undressed him as well. Clothes were flying all over the room.

“Are you ready?” Kai asked.

“I'm scared,” I admitted, remembering our first time together.

“I’ll be gentle. I'm not going to hurt you, I promise. You trust me right?”

I looked into his eyes. The first time we did it, his eyes were full of determination and anger but this time, his eye looked at me lovingly. When I saw this, something in me told me that he wasn’t going to hurt me and that was all it took.

“Okay,”

He kissed my forehead and I took a deep breath.

I woke up the next morning cuddled against him. Memories of last night flooded me and I blushed thinking about it. I immediately turned and faced my back to Kai. My sudden movement woke Kai up. He moved towards me and hugged me from the back. I felt his bare chest against my back. Feeling a little shy, I tried to break away from the hug but instead he hugged me even tighter.

“Just for a while,” he mumbled.

After last night, there was no way I could say no to him. I gave in and let him hug me for a little longer. After 20 minutes or so, Kai finally get up and went to take a shower while I still lay on the bed. Last night was the best night of my life. I giggled to myself and buried myself under the sheets.

Kai came out of the shower and said, “Do you need me to help you out of bed?”

I couldn’t help but sense a cheeky mood from him.

I pulled down the covers to answer him, only to find Kai’s face directly in front of mine. He was only wearing a towel wrapped around his legs and I could see his perfectly toned body right in front of me. I blushed and pulled the sheets again but Kai caught my hand and prevented me from doing so. He then gave me a peck on the forehead and went to change his clothes.

“Umm can you turn around?” I said when I wanted to get out of bed.

“Why? Are you shy? There’s nothing to hide. I’ve seen everything,” he said as he smirked and gave me a cheeky face.

I grabbed a pillow and flung it to him. He didn’t manage to catch the pillow so it hit him.

“Can you just turn?” I pleaded.

He turned and I dashed to the bathroom. Well, I tried. My entire body was sore and my legs hurt terribly and I could barely walk! It really hurts. After what seemed like forever, I finally reached the bathroom. I felt relieved as the first few droplets of water touched my face and ran down my body. The warm water was relieving my aches and sores that I was feeling. Soon, we were both changed and ready for the last day.

“So what do you want to do today?” Kai asked.

“Let’s just stay in the room and relax. I don’t feel like doing anything. I'm tired.” I replied.

“Woah, I must’ve done a great job last night, huh?” Kai smirked.

“Pfft. You weren't that great. I can still walk, right?” I retorted.

Big mistake.

Kai immediately got up from his chair and walked towards me. He stood over me, with his hands placed on the arm rest of the chair I was sitting on.

Uh-oh.

“I wasn’t that great?” Kai said as he raised his one of his eyebrows.

“You’re going to regret saying that. I’ll show you just how great I am,” he continued and I saw a playful glint in his eyes.

He carried me and walked over to the bed. No, not again.

“Yah, stop it. It’s not funny,” I said, hoping to stop him.

“No, I'm not going to stop until you take back what you said,” he replied.

He started unbuckling his pants.

Already panicking, I said, “Umm I take back what I said just now. You were great last night,” avoiding eye contact with him.

“You don’t sound sincere enough. Did you really mean what you said? I don’t believe you. Do you really want me to stop or are you just playing with me?” Kai said as he inched closer and closer to me.

Knowing that I had no other choice, I pleaded, “Oppa, I really mean it. You were great last night. I had a great time so can you please not do this now?”

“~~~, do you love me?” he suddenly asked.

“Yes, I do,”

“I want to hear you say it,”

“Kai ah, I love you,” I said while gazing into his eyes.

“I love you too,”

He pressed his lips against mine and we started kissing only to be interrupted by room service who came up to deliver our breakfast that we had ordered earlier. Kai reluctantly broke the kiss.

“Ughh, what bad timing,” he mumbled.

He opened the door and thanked the staff and closed the door.

“So, where were we just now?” Kai turned to me.

“Nowhere. I’m hungry and I want to eat,” I replied nonchalantly and I looked at the delicious food in front of me. I ignored Kai and went to eat my breakfast. I saw Kai pouting while I was enjoying my breakfast.

“Aren’t you going to eat? If you’re not going to eat, I’ll happily eat it for you,” I chirped as I reached for his food.

Upon seeing this, Kai slapped my hand and grabbed his plate of food.

“Yah, this is mine. You’re not allowed to have it,” he said.

Upon seeing his actions, I couldn’t help but laugh a little. I've never saw this side of Kai. He was acting a like a little kid. And this little kid was my husband. Soon, it was time to leave this beautiful island and head back home. I couldn’t help but feel sad as I parted with the island. I would love to stay longer but it’s time to go back and I miss Ji Hyun terribly. As I looked through the window of the aeroplane, I bid farewell to this beautiful island.
