Description

Jaded, Chanyeol comes home for the first time in years in search of something he doesn't even know. There, he gets a chance encounter with the first person who ever broke his heart, a little reminder of the things that really matter—things that he's forgotten over time—and maybe a second chance at first love.

Originally written for the 2nd round of Yeolliepopday. Fixed a few errors that I happened to spot belatedly, edited a few lines, etc.

This is set in Korea but what I’ve used here is the standard medical program in the US (according to Google). Please do note that it might not be accurate. Also, I've only been to Jinhae once, & only for a couple of hours, so the geographical depiction may be very much inaccurate as well. >.<

This fic deserves so much more love and attention than it has. I loved reading every second of it, and the way you characterized yixing had me screaming with how perfect it was. Seriously, this fic is brilliant, thank you for sharing this work of art with us. Also I never would have expected the yifan situation in a million years. I was so shocked bc whenever joonmyeon mentioned yifan i was like it can't be /that/ deep, but then it was sooooo much deeper than my wildest dreams lol. The second you mentioned the scar I was like holy x'D anyway I got off track here. Bottom line is that you're brilliant. Also that person chanyeol wanted to set up with kyungsoo... did you actually have someone in mind or was that just him teasing? I thought maybe jongdae or baek (bc you already hinted sekai) but neither fit the description you gave. Honestly Kyungsoo was so mysterious in this, idk, he just seems so interesting to me. What is this comment even about anymore lol. I just wanted to say that I really loved this fic! :)
