Infinite Circus

Sungjong walked aimlessly in the loud district. People were calling for sales all around, attracting large crowds which hid Sungjong in the midst. Sungjong didn’t know why he wanted to come out today, but his sixth sense told him that something was going to happen today. Pulling on his brown cap to hide his face, Sungjong wandered about again—as long he could get beck before twelve.

‘ The circus is here! Hurry up! ‘

The sudden loud cheer shocked Sungjong; the flyer fell onto the ground gently beside his feet, like a broken butterfly.

‘ Infinite Circus—The Forest Show welcomes you. ‘

Seems like Sungjong heard about it before. This world famous circus actually came to our small town! Digging through his pocket, Sungjong heaved a sigh of relief as he realised that the amount of money he had now was exactly the amount needed for the cheapest ticket available. He held the two bronze coins close to his heart, and followed the crowd, to the heart of the forest, the exquisite circus.

In the journey, he heard the circus play a happy yet eerie song.  It said something about--

‘ In the infinitely happy circus is where the infinite tears flow

The blind sings with the beauty where they chorus to hear your applause

The monkey and his pretty doll who has unlikely charm

They dance together with your beating heart

The beautiful mannequins of the night, it’s your time

The sudden broken bones; This is the highlight of the performance

In the infinitely happy circus is where the infinite tears flow
