Coffee Breaks – a quick A/B/O rundown

There has been some confusion on what the difference between alpha, beta, and omega is so I thought I’d do a quick post about it. There are a lot of versions out there as to what the tropes behind each a/b/o verse and there are many similarities, but I hope to give some understanding with my verse and a little bit of background…which I hopefully stick to and not veer off. Apologies if I do!! I guess this post is to also remind myself as well.

Alpha: The dominating status. They are larger in height and ual organ size. They can somewhat influence another through their alpha pheromones, although this doesn’t mean they can be irresistible (some may find them overbearing and annoying) but it is one way to scare someone into submission or means of charming another. Alphas are considered the best status and are the strongest. In the vicinity of an omega in heat, an alpha generally may not be able to control themselves and will want to bond. ( the only exception is family or having already been mated and /or with a lot of self control). Alphas can bond with betas and omegas, but can only soulbond with omegas.

Beta: takes up a majority of the population. They are very normal people. They can mate with both alphas and omegas, but cannot soulbound with either ( they can only simply just “bond”). Male betas also cannot be impregnated. Male betas can't knot. When it
