Suspicions
Just Married (Book 2)" it up Hyun Joong and sit up." She said as she sat down on the bed. "Feigning sleep won't make me leave you be."
Hyun Joong knew there is no way out of this, so he slowly sat up and folded his arms over his chest, watching her without saying a word.
So min narrowed her eyes at him, instantly picking up a strange vibe from him. "What is wrong with you?" She moved closer to him, studying his expression. "You look guilty." She stated and Hyun Joong's heart did a flip flop.
He watched her intently, trying to decipher if she had any idea what could have been troubling him. He gulped and then gave her a tight smile. "I'm sorry about the kids." He apologised genuinely. "I..." He broke off when he realised he cannot tell her the real reason behind it. "I'll make it up to them." He said rather and managed a thin smile. So min knew he was hiding something from her but she had no idea what that could be. She took his hand in her own smaller ones, and stared steadily at him. "I can tell you are disturbed about something, but I won't force you to tell me what it is until you are ready to do so. I just want you to know that you can always trust me and that nothing you do would diminish my love for you."
Hyun Joong saw the sincerity in her eyes but a part of him was screaming incessantly in his head that she would eat her words when the truth finally comes out. He exhaled slowly and pulled her into his embrace as he settled them gently on the bed. At least he should be able to pretend all is well, she deserves that.
