Just Married (Book 2)
So min was in the office when her phone rang. She groaned and picked up the phone, surprised to see that it was Woo Bin's homeroom teacher. 'Hello Mrs Song,'
So min groaned out loud when the Teacher told her her kids are still in school without anyone showing to pick them up. She made an excuse which she thought would be believable and told her she would be there in minutes. She looked down at het wristwatch and realised that it is past 4pm already.
She closed the folder she was gping through and made a call to her Secretary. 'Hae Jin, I will leave now bit do email those files to me when you are through with them.'
'Yes Mrs Kim.' Hae Jin replied.
So min stood up and picked her purse and then locked her Office door on her way out. She walked down to the lobby, her mind occupied on the few reasons why Hyun Joong would forget to pick up his children from school. She replied to greetings as best as she could and walked briskly to the parking lot.
She opened her car door and sat, dropping her purse on the passenger's seat and hightailing it out of the Foundation.
So min parked beside the Homeroom teacher who had Woo Bin in her arms and Ra Im at her side. She smiled at So min as she got down.
'I am very sorry Mrs Song, the chauffeur was supposed to come pick them up. I have no idea what he is up to. I am very sorry for making you wait.' She apologized profusely. She however noticed that both are kids are pouting and refusing to look at her.
Mrs Song smiled. 'I understand Mrs Kim. I know it is unlike you and Mr Kim to keep the children waiting. I knew something must have happened.' She said and kissed Woo Bin's rosy cheeks and ruffled Ra Im's hair. 'I am glad to watch over them.' She said as she handed Woo Bin to his mother.
So min took her baby in her arms and kissed his mouth while using the other hand to draw Ra Im close. 'Thank you Mrs Song.'
The children waved their goodbyes to the Elderly Woman as she made her way back to her car. They all watched her drive away.
