In the small isolated town of Raven-Hallow, stands a structure like no other. The Raven-Hallow Institute. A building built with the purpose to house the Nephilim, more commonly known as shadowhunters, this was their refuge. In the tiny town of Raven-Hallow there were a few young adults who called Raven-Hallow Institute their home. The thing that makes it different from the rest however, was that it was an academy training the current and next generation of hunters. Among the few was Ella Aspen-Weather a twenty year old who has been a resident of the town for a majority of her life, she is considered a high rank among the hunters of the town.

So what happens when a group of twelve mysterious men arrive at the town seeking refuge? There's something about them that Ella finds familair, but does she know them? Or is it just pure trick of the mind? Is she really meant for a life as a shadowhunter? Or was she born to be a part of something more?

Characters:

Ella Aspen-Weather - 20 years old, independant, likes doing things on her own, protective of a necklace she was given by her grandfather, she has no idea where he got it or why she was given it, but she keeps it around her neck at all times. Prays that her parents are safe and that someday she hopes they'll return to her.

Michelle Aspen-Weather - 40 Years old, formerly Michelle Weather before she married, she is Ella's mother, gave birth to Ella when she was just 20 years of age, went missing along with her husband, Ella's father Derek on Ella's thirteenth birthday.

Derek Aspen-Weather - 43 Years old, formerly Derek Aspen before he married Michelle, Ella's father, was 23 when Ella was born, went missing along with his wife and Ella's mother Michelle on Ella's thirteenth birthday, has hidden a secret from Ella.

Terrance Aspen - 83 years old, deceased, was the father to Derek, and was Ella's grandfather, gave Ella a maze-looking necklace.

Andre Heron - 22 years old, moved from Australila, a fellow shadowhunter, trains with Ella at the institute.

Theo Black - 20 Years old, only a few months older than Ella, but his appearance makes him out to look older, like a brotherly figure to Ella.

Jonathan Lewis - 24 years old, Shadowhunter, has a strange sense of humour
