"And the Daesang goes to ... Red Velvet! Congratulations!" 

The hall erupted into applause and fans' screams as Red Velvet's 'Rookie' played in the background. Krystal stood up clapping as she watched the 5 girls in front of her rose from their seats, bowing repeatedly to everyone. They were in tears, surprised by this unexpected music award of the year.

Amidst the commotion, their eyes met. Krystal felt a wave of emotions overwhelm her again. She had tried to avoid the girl as much as possible tonight, refraining from any possible eye contact or conversation. It was not easy - how could a person be so elegant with just a one-piece monochrome dress? And that black blazer had brought out her charisma so finely. Oh yeah, that's why she's a bear. It was hard, watching the bear flirt so blatantly with her leader, Irene. One moment, the bear was holding Irene's hands to keep her warm (hello, ever heard of heat packs??) and the next, Irene would be laughing at the bear who tried to imitate the camera producer filming her.

With eyes still on each other, Krystal forced down the lump in and squeaked, "Congrats, I'm happy for you." Seulgi gave a small smile, before walking hurriedly to the stage together with her members. Krystal can never forget those tear-rimmed eyes, which seemed to have so much sorrow and happiness all at the same time when they gazed at each other. Those unspoken feelings the bear was trying to bottle inside herself - it was as clear as day and it was probably the reason why Krystal could never really give up on her all these years. 

"Tell me all your secrets, Seulgi. And perhaps, the story of us does not have to end."

A/N: Sorry I haven't been updating this story for ages. Think I'm gonna try another way of writing to effectively bring out the emotions. Perhaps by POV and dialogues instead of narratives? Let me know what will be better!
