Hey guys. I planned on putting this in a layout but my internet is so bad today, I can hardly load anything and I just don't have time for it. I'm going to explain honestly the situation here:

WARdEN holds a very special place in my heart, but it has become a larger anxiety for me than an outlet for said anxiety. When I began all those year ago, WARdEN was how I destressed and soothed myself in a creative way. It was fun and exciting, even when I made big changes, rewrote it, etc. However, it is now a chore that I constantly worry about. "Why haven't you updated WARdEN?" "Seriously Tsuki get your in gear." "I seriously only wrote four hundred words? That's not enough to post..." I ran out of ways to make it creative and new and fun, and my inspiration leveled at zero long ago.

Another issue here is Jonghyun. It's not about him being in the fic, but rather everything I started writing before his death no longer looks or feels the same to me. I see the works and I want to throw them away. That's why I hid a majority of my fanfics. I hate to look at them. I see WARdEN and I see my darling child, but I also see something that makes me feel a little sick and hurt inside. So I really just cannot do it anymore.

I could just leave it here, forever incomplete, but you all deserve better than to wait for an update that will never come.

Obviously, it took me quite some time to come to this decision. I'm sorry for that as well. I really looked forward to completing this journey with you, but it feels impossible. I sincerely hope you can forgive me for dragging this out for so long, and I really am happy to have met some of my closest friends on this site through this fic. I hope that we don't lose contact and can still comfortably talk to each other in the future.

November 1st, 2023: WARdEN announces official disbandment after eight years. Wu Yufei/Yoo is aged 32, Lee Seulki/Rose is aged 30, Lee Soo Jung/Sera is aged 29, Kwon Miyoung/Miyu is aged 26, Baek Yoonmi/Byeol is aged 26, and Hisakawa Sumia is aged 26. Each hand-write a letter thanking their fans for their support even all the way back in 2013 (Yufei simply thanks for the past six years). They explain that they are simply ready to move on with their careers and lives.

November 7th, 2023: UouO Media released The Wave MV to thank and say goodbye to fans

May 1st, 2024: Miyoung posts a picture of her first baby, a girl named Iseul

May 2025: A ten-year anniversary concert is announced featuring former members Junseo and Nari

August 10th, 2025: Destiny and Windy Day MVs, filmed back in 2020 with Junseo and Nari, is released to hype for concert

August 15th, 2025: Ten-year anniversary concert. This is the last time the whole group is seen together. After, Yufei moves to America and disappears. Maeri becomes a model. Somewhere along the way, Seulki and Jonghyun parted ways and Seulki marries Kogara Shigeri, a former UouO Media soloist and member of BOYz. They go on to have two children and appear on a family variety for a year before she slides away from the public eye. Soo Jung goes solo again under FNC Entertainment, with UouO Media giving them all rights to her old songs. She marries Jinki and is an active soloist, and eventual actress until her death at age eighty. Kang Daeun models for various clothing brands, marries a florist, and moves to France. Miyoung debuts as an actress under S.A.L.T. and has a two more children, bringing her to a total of three- One girl and two boys. Yoonmi goes solo in Japan and ends up marrying Sehun, resulting in the birth of their son. Sumia never marries but through IVF has idential twin daughters. She never steps out of the public eye but is never again active in the entertainment world.

UouO Media has an official memorial for Iseul in the trainee dorms and at the company building. The latter can be visited by anyone at any time, and the former members are seen there fairly frequently, but rarely together.

And there you have it. Of course, had I written it, many more scandals and exciting events would have happened, but as it was, that was my plan to go by...

I hope you enjoyed our time together as much as I did. Once again, I truly apologize. I may occasionally come back and post an article here, a random chapter there if I feel inspired. Thank you for all your effort for this fic! I love you guys~ <3
