"Ahhhhh! I can't stand this pain anymore! I can't stand it! Ahhhhhh!"

Soon, a baby's cry ranged throughout the empty corridor

"It's a girl, Mrs Han. Congratulations, she's really beautiful like her mother," the nurse said as she held YoungAe and showed Mrs Han

Mrs Han's face was covered with droplets of sweat, signifying those dreadful 48 hours being in the labour room and facing unbearable contractions. But, she had a large smile across her face, as she welcomed a beautiful soul to the world.

"I'll name her YoungAe, Han YoungAe," she said as she carried her baby over.


On the other side

"Veron, I promise that I'll love you till the end of my life, and till death do us apart, will you marry me, Veron" Mr Han said as he knelt down in front of Veron.

"Mummy! Uncle Han is a good good man," Melissa said as she held onto her mother's skirt's hem

"Yes I do," Veron smiled joyfully as she accepted his proposal 


Months later...

"Jagi, we have a baby girl, she's 3 months now" Mrs Han told Mr Han across the phone as she had a big and wide smile across her face as she was looking at her baby sleeping soundly.

"Didn't I tell you to get an abortion" he said sternly

"It's a li-"

"I shall repeat my statement again. Didn't. I. Tell. You. To. Get. An. Abortion." 

"Yes"

"So why bother to call me in the first place? I'm filing our divorce, till we meet in court again" and he hunged up the phone

"Jagi, jagi? Jagi?" Her face turned worried and she screamed dreadfully

Baby YoungAe cried too, as if she knew what happened

"YoungAe, YoungAe, it's okay baby, mummy is here, mummy is here" Mrs Han carried her and caressed her baby


Months passed and years passed, Mr Han would occasionally come back to get his belongings and leave

"Jagi, jagi, please stay" Mrs Han said as she held firmly onto his hands

"Lee Tsu Wei. Look at yourself. What on earth are you doing now. You look like a old h*g. Get out of my side" he swung his hands and left cold heartedly

"Eomma...?" Baby YoungAe was almost 1 but she knew something wasn't right

Her father wasn't at home most of the time, and there's always a man who comes to her so-called home and take things away

Since young, YoungAe would see her mother taking pills before she slept

As she grew older, she noticed that her mother was taking more and more pills than before

"Eomma, what is this for?" the 7 year old YoungAe asked her mother

"This is a medication jagi, mummy isn't feeling well, YoungAe must take care okay? Mummy has to go out for a short while" she said and left

"Ne~" the obedient 7 year old replied

Suddenly, the door unlocked

YoungAe thought she was expecting her mother and ran towards the door with a warm welcome hug

But instead, she saw the man who had always come to her house to take stuffs away

With a disgusted look, she asked, "Who are you?"

Mr Han noticed the little girl and he kneeled down 

"Young lady, you have no rights to ask me this"

"Yes I do!" she shouted at him

"YoungAe, who's at hom-" Mrs Han finally came back and saw the moment

"Jagi? You're back!" she said as she left all her belongings at the door and hugged him from the back

"Lee Tsu Wei, teach your daughter some manners"

"She's our daugh-"

"No"

"YoungAe, quickly, call daddy"

"No, do not call me that. Even without you, I have another child that is better than you.. Without you I'll be the proudest father in this world. You're such a disgrace to me" he told YoungAe

"Han JongHyun! This is enough! She's your daughter too! She's only 7 year old!" she shouted at him

"So what. I don't care. This isn't my family anymore. My family is waiting for me" he said 

"Oh, Tsu Wei. I heard from my lawyer that you refused to sign our divorce papers? You better do, because if you don't I'll sell her off" as he pointed towards YoungAe

"You son of a b*tch! What has got into me all these years! I left Taiwan just for you, you b*stard! Leaving my family and friends to follow you back to Korea! And you give me this piece of sh*t! You want the divorce so dreadfully right?! I'll give you now! From now onwards, you and I have nothing to do with each other anymore!" she said as she signed the divorce papers and threw it to Mr Han's face

"See? Isn't this better? Well, we didn't have anything to do with each other anyways" he swept his shoulders and left


Since then, her mother suffered from serious depression. YoungAe too strived hard day by day and she was always the first in her school. 

When YoungAe was 15, her mother passed away due to overdosing sleeping pills. During her mother's funeral, her father didn't even pay a single respect nor sending any regards to her. She then put all the blame of her mother's death on her irresponsible father

"Mum wouldn't die if he didn't exist" she cussed under her breath as a tear rolled down her face

"This is the last time, the last time I'm crying. He's not worth my tear either" YoungAe told herself and she swore that she'll live a better life than his. Be a hundred times more successful than him.

From that day onwards, she continued to strive hard and she held a clean record to be the first in school for consecutively 11 years since she was 8. Her results were so good that she was offered a full scholarship to study in Korea University. As she had interest in Chemistry, she majored in that. Being in a university made her shone brighter. In 2 years, she became the president of the Student Council in Korea University. She also actively involve herself in sports and leisure activites.

Being a brilliant student on the outside, it was difficult for her to show her dislike towards men.  Hate towards her father since a young age had slowly led her to a split personality, without herself knowing.

Having a split personality had driven her into a dead corner. On the outside, she is this glamourous and perfect girl that every girl wants to be. She's athlethic, she's smart, she's beautiful and she's caring. But she just couldn't show anyone her true self. She wanted to be perfect. Thus, whenever she's home alone, she relied on social networks and she blogged. She blogged anonymously. The split personality had made her confuse of who she is deep inside.

She hates men so much that she had always ignore the little voice deep down in her heart, overwhelmingly telling her that she needs someone to rely on when she's upset or when she's down. She needed someone to be there for her and someone who understands her. She needed love. When she felt that there were no where to go anymore, she saw an interesting ad online. 

"Girlfriend Corporation" she mumbled

Attracted to the ad, she clicked into the link
