"Are you and Kihyun dating?"

"Where did you hear such thing?" I ask Eunmi, who was sitting beside me playing on her phone. "I saw you guys together at the mall a few days ago. I figured you were on a date."

I quickly shake my head. "No, we were buying Jungyeon's birthday gift."

"You needed him to go with you?"

"....no, he just insisted he would come with me."

She gives me a smug smile and shrugs. "Whatever you say." I push her shoulder lightly and get up from my seat. "I'm serious, we're not dating! He just wanted to tag along."

"I believe you."

I lightly tap my folder on her head. I knew she wasn't going to believe anything I say. "Fine! I'm going back to work. See you later."

"Bye! Tell Kihyun I say hi."

I meet up with Wonho after work at a cafe near our building. Since I had to stay in a bit to finish some papers, Wonho decided to just meet me there in an hour. I enter the cafe and immediately notice Wonho sitting at the corner of the room. "Wonho!" I smile brightly as I approach him. He hears my voice and glances up from his laptop and beams up when he sees me. I quickly sit down and place my bag beside me. Wonho closes his laptop and sets it aside. I realize he has already ordered my favorite drink and chocolate.

I start eating the cake and glance at Wonho. “So why did you want to meet me here?” He shrugs and rests his chin on his hands. He smiles at me weirdly. “Nothing. I just missed you.” Okay. I eye him curiously. I knew something was up. “Wonho I see you basically every day.”

“Still.”

“You’re weird.” I reply, stuffing the last piece of cake down in my mouth. I push the plate away from me and grab a napkin to wipe my face with. “Seriously, what is it? Spill.” I set the napkin down on the tab
