Sooryun’s POV

“We’ll be here soon. Wake up!” I heard a distant male voice call out. I knew this, whatever I’m seeing isn’t real, that I’m dreaming

I looked to the side and saw the small boy no older than 7 years old smiling at me. He was calling out a name before whatever he said but it’s always not clear to me. It makes me feel frustrated. 

Slowly I decided to just close back my eyes and count to 3...1...2...3

The familiar sound of a swerving car and people shouting were heard and as usual, the crash sound woke me up abruptly. 

The first time I had that dream, I was terrified, I screamed each time but as it continued; my fear died down. I counted the seconds it took to the crash, every word that was spoken to me by the boy. Each time it happened I tried my very best to listen to what the girl’s name was

Sadly It doesn’t work and I’m left with nothing when I wake up. It’s been happening since I was young and it stopped. I didn’t recall when or how it came back though 

“You’re awake” I flinched and looked up to see Jungkook oppa standing in front of me. I almost forgot we had connecting rooms. I guess that’s how I got on the bed. I hope he didn’t see or question why I cried

“I called Kyungri noona. It looked like you passed out and had a small fever and I didn’t know what to do so I had to call her. I hope you don’t mind

I got some food and also your pills there. Take them so you’ll get better okay? It’s a fun trip after all” Jungkook oppa smiled softly before clearing his throat. I was lost for words. After all that I did, the cold words I spouted, he still tried to take care of me

*Oppa you’re making this difficult for me* I sighed and before I knew it, tears were in my eyes. I just feel so scared and having him near me makes me feel pressured, especially when he’s an idol. Fear of scandals breaking out, fear of people trying to get me and fear for the unborn child in me

“Ah..I made you cry again” I heard him sigh before I felt a presence at the edge of my bed. Jungkook oppa hesitated but slowly sat down in front of me. He was disappointed and upset, his eyes shows it all, and the more he looks at me the more terrible I felt

“I-I’ll leave you alone Sooryun-ah, I promise but please eat and stop crying. I don’t want you fainting again. I’ll keep my distance and you can lock the connecting doors

But just promise me to take your food and medicine. I know I’m the cause of your sadness so I’ll go away” Jungkook oppa said guiltily and my heart broke. I knew deep down he was a great friend to me but I couldn’t bring myself to talk to him, to take him back as a friend

I didn’t know why but the mere presence of him always kept me thinking of what happened that night and although it may have been his first time too, I just can’t help to think that it was still stolen. I felt selfish and I hated myself for that

“I’ll go now. Take care and enjoy the cruise okay?”Jungkook oppa sighed once more before standing up. Before going away though, he hesitated by my bed and before I knew it, I was caught in a comforting hug.

I wanted to scold him but no words were coming out of my mouth instead more tears were dropping. I was beginning to cry uncontrollably

“I’m sorry I took the drugs that night. I’m sorry we ran to each other and most importantly, I’m sorry I was the one who took your ity

I know it’s something you only gave to someone special and you must hate me a lot for that but I really am sorry. If only I could give it back I would” Jungkook oppa muttered. 

As usual I didn’t say a word and just continued to cry. I felt too weak so I didn’t try and fight off his hug. Eventually, sleep claimed me and I knocked off again

End of Sooryun’s POV

Sooryun fell limp in Jungkook’s arms again and he sighed. Slowly, he positioned her back to her bed and in a more comfortable position before getting off the bed. 

He decided to just walk around the ferry to clear his mind. From the day he bumped into Sooryun till the day she helped treat his injured hand he had found the girl really fun to be with. She was a great addition to their small little clique

Now that they weren’t talking it’s almost as if there was a small gaping hole and Jungkook can’t help but feel a little upset but even so he can’t be the one to say. It’s more evident in women the men

He eventually came to the front of the ship and  looked at the scenery ahead. As he did, he hummed a tune to keep himself calm

*It’s alright Jungkook. You have your hyungs you’ll get through it* Jungkook thought to himself 

Before he knew it, night time came so he decided to go back to his room. On his way back, he managed to grab some food for himself before reaching his room. He realised he was so busy taking care of Sooryun that he hadn’t eaten anything for the day. 

He went into his room and glanced at the connecting door and saw that Sooryun’s side was closed. Pushing his thoughts aside, he decided to go take a shower before eating. 

After his shower he sat by the small desk that was provided in his room to eat. He was hungry, no doubt, so he finished his food fast. By then, Sooryun was the last thing on his mind now. He video called the rest of Bangtan and they chatted before he got slightly sleepy

Right when he wanted to end the call though, Taehyung stopped him. It took Taehyung a while but he finally got some private time to talk with Jungkook

“How was it? Is she fine?” Taehyung asked and Jungkook’s smile dropped. He sighed softly and that was when Taehyung realised it wasn’t going as well as they planned

“She hates me hyung. It’s okay, she doesn’t have to like me. I’m happy as long as the both of you are blissfully happy together” Jungkook said, a small smile etched on his face and Taehyung sighed

“I know you two are really good friends, especially after the incident with Ji-I mean that . I can talk to her-”

“It’s okay hyung. I’m fine really. I have other friends and I have you guys. It’s enough for me” Jungkook continued to smile and eventually Taehyung nodded

“We’ll meet you two tomorrow afternoon. We have a whole day to spend at the island and Namjoon hyung got our ferry home together” Taehyung said and Jungkook’s perky smile was back as he nodded enthusiastically

“I’ll see you tomorrow hyung” Jungkook said and they ended the call. Jungkook got off the bed and glanced at the connecting door. Taehyung nor Kyungri told him to check up on Sooryun but he felt the need to do so

As much as the girl hated him. He doesn’t want Sooryun to be sick onboard a cruise that was meant for them to enjoy

He knocked softly and called out to Sooryun. When he didn’t hear any response he tried the doorknob and was once again surprised that it wasn’t locked. When he entered, Sooryun was nowhere to be found

He searched the whole room but the girl wasn’t there, nor were her food or medicine. Jungkook got a little worried and decided to search the ship. He wore his disguise and began to look for the girl. He tried searching everywhere but there were no signs of the girl

Lastly, he checked the front of the ship where he was previously from and heaved a relieved sigh when he saw the girl all safe. However before he could leave, Sooryun spoke up

“Why are you doing this to yourself?” Sooryun asked. She still faced the ocean in
