“Mama…” Jessie’s little voice snapped me from my thought. I turned my head and found my baby girl rubbed her eyes. And I couldn’t help but smile

Yeah, she was my sunshine, the source of my energy, the reason valid for me to keep breathing.

My one and only Jessie…

“Yes baby?” I walked to the still sleepy girl. Jessie yawned and tried to keep her eyes open

“Why we’re here?” Jessie asked with pouted lips. I smiled and kneeled down in front of her

“Why? Don’t you like the apartment, baby?” I asked. My daughter shook her head repeatedly

“No, Mama…. I just love to be there” she said

“There?” I asked and gave her my questioned look. Did she just dreaming for being somewhere?

Then my daughter nodded, repeatedly. “Uhum… I love to be at Mama’s work-place. Uhm… what’s the name again, Mama?” Jessie’s eyes widened

Aah…, I got it…

Jessie was sleeping when I brought her home this evening from YG Building

“What’s that name, Mama?” Jessie repeated her question. Oh, sometime I forgot how scarily smart my daughter was. She was just 2 and couldn’t even speak properly, but her brain could process and save so many things for her age.

She was a very curious girl. She would keep asking and wouldn’t stop until she got the answer that satisfied her. Something she got for me, actually….

“It’s a STUDIO, baby….” I smiled, pinched her chubby cheek

“Yes! Stu-di-o! Will we go there again tomorrow, Mama?” she asked enthusiastically

“Aigoo…. Do you really love that place?” I chuckled

“Yes, Mama!!” She was jumping and clapping her hand.

“What makes you love that place so much?” I was itchy to ask. I knew, my baby girl always enthusiast for every new things. But this time was different

Somehow I felt this theme was a little bit different….

“Uhm…” she smiled. God…, what thing was that, which could make my daughter so happy?

“Tell Mama, Jess… what makes my little princess this happy?”

Then I saw my daughter’s eyes were sparkling

“I had a dream, Mama…” She started

“Dream? What dream?” I asked curiously

“My Papa”

Ok….

For a second, I felt like my throat was crocked. My tongue was stiffened as my daughter’s eyes looked straight into mine

“When I was sleeping in the stu-di-o, I dreamt of papa”

Her innocent gaze felt like thousands sword stabbed right in my heart

“Oh…”

That was the only word I could say to respond my daughter. Gosh…, I knew this day would come, the day when my daughter would start to ask about his papa. But I never thought that it would be this soon

But wait, I hadn’t told anything about her papa. How come she had a dream about him?

“What did you see in your dream, baby?” I managed to asked, fake a smile

“Uhm… I didn’t see his face… it was just, a man came to me, held my face and said: Papa loves you, Jessie”

That’s it…. my heart was torn even more by her simple blissful smile.

And it just dragged my memory back to this evening, at the studio. When I saw Jiyong, knelling down in front of my sleeping daughter…, our sleeping daughter

My heart was aching so bad, looked at Jiyong, crying silently shen she kissed Jessie’s forehead.

“Mama…” Jessie’s voice snapped me back

“Y-yes?” I tried my best to act as normal as possible

“Where is my papa?”

“Jiyong-ah… don’t you want to come down?” Mrs. Kwon half-shouted, called her son who didn’t leave his room since he came this evening

Still no answer

Mrs. Kwon later walked back to the dining room and found her husband gave her a questioned look

“What happened with him again?” Mr. Kwon asked

“I don’t know… when he came, his face was like a man who was diagnosed having cancer” Mrs. Kwon sighed, answered her husband

Meanwhile, inside his room, Jiyong was sinking himself inside the bathtub, tried to chill his head and heart

Today…, for the first time of his life…, finally he could touch his daughter. He still remembered how Jessie’s smooth skin felt on his fingers. His heart was still beating fast every time he remembered those chubby cheeks, full lips, and sparkling eyes of that little girl.

Then his heart was breaking again when the reality hit him, that Jessie had no idea about him…

Jiyong raised his head, sighed harshly

“I can’t just let it go” he mumbled and soon stood up, grabbed his bathrobe and then dressed up

Minutes later, Jiyong exited his room hurriedly

“Jiyong-ah…” Mrs. Kwon called him

“Mian, Omma… I have to go” Jiyong said as he ran and disappeared behind the door

“What’s happening to him, actually?” Mrs. Kwon asked her husband while the man just shook his head

“Just let him. He’s old enough to face his own problem, whatever it is” Mr.Kwon said to his still- worrying-wife

“Aish… whatever. I’m gonna go too” Mrs. Kwon said

“Huh? At this time? Where are you gonna go?” Mr. Kwon asked

“Supermarket. I prefer to go at this time to avoid too much fans. I don’t know how they could recognize that I’m GDragon’s Omma?” Mrs. Kwon complained.

She was kinda annoying by Jiyong’s fans, and even paparazzi. Even though she was rarely making appearance, but Jiyong’s posts about his family on his sns were enough for those crazy fans to recognized his family members and stalked them
