The Bus Ride.
The bus ride.
It's a normal day & i'm on my way to school.
The sun was shinning brightly as the people at the bus stop waited for the bus to arrive.
I sat down on an empty space at the bench ... there, i saw the familiar face that i always see ever since the start of my freshmen year.
The both of us always takes the same bus and alight at the same bus stop. Along the bus ride, he'll always be reading his textbook of different subject.
" I wonder what school is he in ... " I wondered as i sat in my usual place
He's not wearing any school uniform but yet he's a student. " He must be a college student then! " I switched on my I-touch and listened to my favourite song, Hello (NOTE : just pretend that Hello was sung by others k?)
As the bus stopped for passengers to alight and board, i'll always turn to my left and look at him concentrating hard on his textbook and the thick pile of notes.
" I lost him again " I thought as we alighted from the bus
" Hey! " My best friend snapped my thoughts out as she pounced on me
She was the perfect reason why i always lose my sight of him once we alighted from the bus. I hope to catch him some day!
" Hello! Let's go to class " i slinged my arm around my best friend and we made our way to our classrooms
- Few days later -
" I hope he'll still be there! " I paced my steps fast
I woke up late today all because of the show i stayed up to watch last night. Sigh, i hope he's still there! The bus ride doesn't seemed lonely with him riding with me, even though he's a total stranger.
I looked at my watch and gasped hard. I picked up speed and ran towards the bus stop, the bus stop was empty.
" Sigh, he must be gone " I sat down and pouted
Few seconds later, i turned to my right and saw that boy sitting down on the bench still reading his textbook of different subjects. My face immediately lit up when i saw he hadn't left yet thousands of questions were running through my mind about why is he still here when obviously the bus had left.
" Erm hello, has the bus left already ? " I finally plucked up the courage and ask
But i had to admit, it was a stupid question.
" Erm hello, you mean 34 ? Yeap, it left. You're late today! " He showed a smile ever so beautifuly
" Oh well, thanks " I replied shyly
I quickly turned away to hide my tomato face.
" I wonder why didn't he board the bus. " I questioned myself
Few minutes later, the bus arrived and the both of us boarded. The bus was filled with many people so we had to stand. The gap between the both of us were extremely close that i could actually feel his breathing. When all of a sudden, i felt something wanting to go up my skirt.
Is it me or is something really trying to go up my skirt ?
I felt too uncomfortable and i tried to move away but the hand just kept doing the same movement.
" Are you okay ? " He asked worriedly
I shook my head and tried to tell him the situation but the words were like stucked in my throat. He looked behind me and finally was aware of what happened. He pulled me closer to him, now nearly hugging me and took the man's hand.
" ouch.. what the hell !? " the ert shouted
" Stop doing that or else i will break your bones " He shouted firmly
" Wha- did i do ? " He feign ignorance
Everyone was looking at us, the bus stopped at the bus stop and most of the passengers alighted. The bus driver came up to us.
" What is the problem ? " He smiled
" This ert here tried to touch my girlfriend, please take him away " He firmly informed while still grabbing that ert's hands
" You're a liar! you stupid boy, let go of me! " the ert ranted
The bus driver grasped the situation and procceeded to make a phone call to the police. Coincidentally, there were two policemen on patrol.
" Sirs! There is a ert here " The bus driver signalled them
" What is the problem here ? " One of the sir asked
The both of us tried hard to explain and soon he was taken away. Every passenger applauded at that boy's act of bravery, we sat on the same seat but only this time, he sat directly next to me.
" Than-k you " I looked down
" It's okay, you're safe now " He ruffled my hair gently
I smiled at him.
" What 's your name ? " He asked curiously
" Kang young ae, how about you ? " I lighted up
" Lee Jingki, please call me onew! Nice to meet you " He extended his hands out
" Nice to meet you too "
- Few days later -
" Young Ae! " I heard a familiar voice called me
i was walking along the hallway with my best friend, i turned back to look and it was Lee Jinki.
" Onew oppa ? "
" Hello! Erm, i didn't know you're studying here. I study at this college! " He beamed
" That explains the same ride everyday! " I laughed
" Wanna have lunch together ? " He suggested, while scratching the back of his head
" Sure! " & the both of us left with hands bumping with each other's.
