She entered the dark alley, tightened her grip unto the paper bag and squeezed it as she felt the cold wind pass her petite frame and brush her long, brown hair. She doesn’t know why she felt secured every time she steps onto the chilly, damp street. Maybe because walking there reminds her of him. Their fateful first meeting. She thought. Wearing only her black cardigan, a pair of jeans, a simple white t-shirt, converse shoes and a red scarf to keep her warm, she tried to ignore the cold temperature but her lips betrayed her. She mentally cursed herself for not wearing her favourite dark green coat. It is an expensive coat which she bought from the excess of her almost 6 months’ salary. It is also the only coat she has because she cannot afford to buy another one.

She finally stopped walking as she saw the tarnished looking door that was located at the end of the street. She twisted the knob and entered the elegant apartment. Who would have thought there’s a beautiful place in a daunting and frightening place where most people would assume that it’s abandoned? He is really a genius for it is a perfect hideout for a notorious gang.

She the lights and felt her body shiver as she examined the cold room. Nothing changed. It’s still the same as the first time she’d seen it. Excluding the turned off heater. He must have forgotten to turn on the heater.

She carefully placed the paper bag on the kitchen counter and tapped her fingers to her chin. What to cook? Hmm. With a smile plastered on her face, she grabbed the green apron and started cooking while humming a tune she learned when she was a child, which is a habit of hers.

Why was she here again?

Yes, it was only because of him. He was her saviour after all. He had always saved her from those merciless, low level gangsters. She’s been working for wee hours just to pay for his dead father’s 10 million won debt to those gangsters. And yes, she owes a lot of money to him.  

And that’s why she’s there.

She walked past the living room and noticed a few bottles of alcohol scattered on the floor. There are also playing cards on the table and tall glasses with half empty liquid inside. She ascended to the stairs and headed to the farthest room at the corridor. She absolutely loved his apartment. The interior of the house is mostly black and white. She’s never been to this beautiful and expensive house until she met him. Plus, the place is really detailed. When you look closely at the walls, you can see embossed patterns of a Phoenix which amuses her every time she’s there. Even now that she has visited his house many times already, the walls won’t fail to amaze her.

She stopped walking and reached for the doorknob of the huge door. The black wood door which has a large symbol of a dark red Phoenix carved to it. It’s definitely one of the highlights of his house. The golden doorknob which is customized and sculpted in the shape of a Phoenix’s tail is precious and really expensive.

She opened the door as cold wind embraced her which immediately sent chills down to her spine. She didn’t know what exactly made her shiver. The temperature or the overall aura of the room. It’s funny how she felt exactly the same when she first stepped inside. This is absolutely the room of the highly respected leader. No doubt about that.

Different kinds of weapons like white gold pistols, black guns with gold engravings and daggers were hung on the wall. All works were done by a world renowned artist in weapon making. His room is a mixture of black and white just like the other rooms in his house. His bed and sheets were also black. And again, this room is unbelievably detailed. This place is always neat. Even if the other rooms aren’t, the cleanliness in this room is always maintained.

 She then headed to the big open windows that are connected to the balcony. Up there, she can see the full view of Seoul Metropolis. He said to her that he picked this place personally. He really likes the view at night.

She shut the two glass door and walked inside. Then, she saw a familiar figure laid peacefully in the bed. He was sleeping soundly. He looked so angelic yet fierce. His eyebrows creased slightly as he mumbles softly. He’s so attractive when he sleeps. A sigh escaped his mouth and there she smelled alcohol. His dress shirt has already two buttons ed. Any girl would pounce onto him in this instance. But it’s her. She can’t imagine herself doing anything like that. She walked to the bathroom and gets a towel and a basin filled with water. She then placed it on the bedside table and removed his shoes and his socks off.

She sat beside him and carefully ed the dress shirt slowly so she wouldn’t wake him up. When his chiselled chest and defined abs came to her view, her heartbeat was already beating faster and faster. She’s a girl after all. She can still see red spots on his neck and chest due to sensitivity. She took the dress shirt off him. His tempting scent was still lingering it although there are also traces of alcohol too. She placed the shirt on the chair next to her and wet the towel with water. She carefully dabbed it to the red spots on his neck and bare shoulders. He kept drinking even though he’s aware of his hypersensitivity. His eyebrows creased again as he mumbles words softly.

“Kiss me..”

Her eyes widened in surprise. She wasn’t hearing things, right? She looked unto his luscious lips by instinct and gulped. His y eyebrows furrowed slowly again. Her heartbeat is beating really fast, almost ready to explode! Stop looking! Focus Bomi-ah. You just want to make him comfortable by dabbing this towel. You can make it!

Maybe, one of the hardest things for a girl to do is straining herself from doinghorrible things in a sleeping hot cute man. She thought. Even though she experienced many hardships at such a young age, this would be one of the hardest things she has experienced. Though, she’s used to it. And she has done this many times already.

She started to his pants. Oh my God! Sorry Tabi, but I have to do this! She’s feeling slightly uncomfortable doing this. I still have to make you comfortable. That is all. Really! Besides, it’s my duty, isn’t it? Isn’t it, Tabi?!

Slowly, his boxers were revealed to her sight. A red and black checkered boxers this time- Aack! What am I thinking!? She mentally slapped herself. Damn! She can’t think straight. Although he wears boxers every day and have done undressing him many times already, she can’t stop herself palpitating. It is understandable, right?

She carefully dressed him up with a pair of black pyjamas from his closet. Luckily, he’s on his deepest sleep. There were days when he may catch her and just stare at her while doing her thing which made her very uncomfortable. It’s very amusing how he just stares at her flushed face and don’t care at all on what she’s doing to him but she, on the contrary is feeling all the pressure. Imagine her undressing him and he just stares at you, of course during the times he’s awake, she doesn’t change his pants. I think it’s sensible. She just dresses him up whenever he’s not sober because of alcohol and at times when he’s badly injured.

After tugging him with the blanket, she left his room and headed to the kitchen. She prepared a completehealthy meal for him and put the hot soup in the thermos. She smiled at her work and placed the covered food on the kitchen counter. The remaining grocery items were placed in the fridge. She grabbed her tote and dug up her sticky notepad and pen in her big tote. She always carries this big, green, worn-out tote because her bestfriend gave it to her (and she doesn’t have time to go shopping) plus she likes the colour green. Then, she began scribbling.

She ascended again to the stairs with a glass of water. She headed to the bathroom to get some medicine from the medicine cabinet. The antiseptic medicine is nearly empty and there are no more gauzes left. She remembered using them to his gang member Seungri after getting stabbed on his arm by an enemy.

She walked to the bed and placed the medicine next to the glass on the tray.

He’s still slumbering. Hmm..He looks really peaceful. She thought.

She was ready to leave but remembered something. “Oh! I forgot about the heater!” She said too loud. Oops and she instantly covered .

She the heater and turned off the light. He doesn’t like sleeping in a lighted room. With a last glance she said,

“Goodnight, Seunghyun.”

She headed to the front door and left.
