Reunion

Description

He sinks into his booth as the tall figure slides into the seat across from him.  It's silent between the two of them, the hustle and bustle of the coffee shop falling on deaf ears.  He's only in China for a few days before he flies back to L.A., but he wanted to make the most of it.

This has been floating in my head for weeks, pretty much since Tao left for L.A.  It's short, but I got out what I needed to get out.  Enjoy!

Chapter 1: i had to check the date to make sure this wasn't written after tao's tl;dr manifesto the other day. normally i don't give a fig about kris but their closeness was indisputable and it bothered me on a personal level that they were torn apart like this. i know this isn't real but it could be and it gives me hope, because kris is someone important to tao. i did laugh at kris calling yixing a grown man tho, lol. why doesn't this website have a like button.

Chapter 1: I'm not sure why, tbh, but this, this was like finally letting a breath I didn't even know I was holding and finally being able to breath again.

Part of me wants to tear up b/c oh god how I miss those two together and how I know they both must be missing each other. And I just wish they'd be given the chance to really sit and talk b/c Taoris is so special and those two had/have such a bond.

I love the open possibilities you left this open too and even more so that it all looks to be a positive one.

I needed this. And I thank you so much.

Let's hope they do make up. /crossing fingers/
