I was a wreck. I didn’t have any dinner last night which made my parents worried when they found me on my bed, just doing nothing and just staring at the ceiling. I got no sleep last night as I was contemplating over the fact over what exactly Wonho is. I checked on every website to see if all of the behaviors of how Wonho acted matched to what I thought, and it did which made me contemplate even more.

Things like this don’t happen in real life, only in fantasies.

Right?

It was like five in the morning, but I didn’t care. I couldn’t wait any longer, I had to know the truth. I wore some leggings and a baggy T-shirt and some tennis shoes and tip toed my way out of the house with a flashlight. It was still pretty dark outside, with the bugs still chirping and the moon still up. I took one step into the woods and I got a wave of fear come over me. I was like in a horror film or something.

I walk slowly while being tensed up with all of my senses on alert. I tremble in fear as I walk throughout the forest. I walked for what seemed like ten minutes and I felt like this was a loss cause since A, why would he be out at this hour and B, why would he come back to see me after what had happened. If that was me who did that, I surely wouldn’t come back either.

But then I see him, sitting against a tree with his head down. I walk closer to him and he notices the light being shined on him and looks up at me with a sullen face. “Hey Wonho” I say

“Hey, why are you out at this hour?” he asks

“I have something to ask you” I say and I start to tense up as he gets up and walks closer to me. I take a big breath and look at him dead in the eyes.

“Are you a vampire?”

“Yes”

My eyes widen. I knew that he was, but yet it’s still hard to imagine that he is. Even though it all makes sense and that everything added up to this, it just doesn’t seem real. I can’t be, but it is. “I know, I must seem like a monster right?” he looks down at his shoes while scratching the back of his head

“No, you’re not” I reply and he looks back at me

“You’re lying. I know you must pretty shocked right now and terrified of me. After what happened yesterday, there’s no way you’ll look at me the same again” he trails off

“Wonho listen, just because you’re a vampire doesn’t mean you’re any different than what I thought of you the first time I met you.” I say and he doesn’t even look at me

“You’re just saying that” he says

“No I’m not. You’re still the same guy I met in the woods who helped me get rid of my splinter. You’re the same guy who made me feel safe and secure in your presence. You’re the same guy who I had my first kiss with.” I say and he looks up at me “You’re the same guy who I fell in love with.”

He walks closer to me and takes his thumb and rubs it against my cheek, “Really?”

“Really” I assure him “I love you, Wonho. Vampire or not, I love you.” He smiles and places his lips on mine again and I happily kiss him back.

“I love you too” he says and kisses my forehead, “I’m sorry about what happened yesterday, I couldn’t help it”

“It’s fine”

“I felt horrible about it right afterwards. My parents never introduced me to humans before or their blood, I overreacted”

“Wonho, it’s okay stop apologizing, you couldn’t help it and look” I hold up my hand to him “It’s all scabbed up now”

We lay down on the forest floor and look up at the moon. I rest my head on his chest while I curl up next to him while he takes his left arm and embraces me into him. I could hear his heart beat and feel his chest rise up and down. “Sorry that my body is cold”

“Its fine, I’ve gotten used to it. It cools me down from the summer heat” I joke a bit and he chuckles. We lay there in each other’s embrace. “Wonho I have to tell you something” I say

“What is it?” he asks

“I can’t hide this anymore from my parents, I know right when I get back home I’m going to be faced by my parents and I plan on telling about you to them. I know this is a risk and that I may not be able to see you after this, but just know that I love you and nothing will change that.”

“I know you do, and I love you too. I understand about your parents and I think you should tell them too. I’ll miss you a lot though” he says

“I know, I’ll miss you too. If I’m not able to meet you after this, I’ll come
