It had been about two months since I last saw Sujeong and Ai. I had to see Seungcheol everyday and he looked the same. I wonder if he knew that Sujeong didn't love him back.

Sujeong was saying how he supported them so well so she felt obligated to let him court her. I wonder how he felt about the whole thing. I wonder if he loved her that much to take care of them without wanting anything in return.       Anyhow, I lost most contact with the both of them, unfortunately. I really lost contact with everyone, honestly. Jihoon, Seokmin, Seungkwan, and Junghan-- I hadn't talked to them for a while, and Soonyoung and Minghao-- we never really talked in the first place despite working with each other.       It wasn't until I was called by Junghan one early spring night that I had talked to anyone in the last couple of days.       "Joshua?" he asked after I answered his call.      "Junghan," I murmured, hearing his voice after such a long time, "Hi."      "Hi," he said happily, "It's me! You remember."      "Um, yeah. Of course I remember," I replied back. How could I forget? He was my friend. He was only ever nice to me.      "I just wanted to check up on you. It's been a really long time!" he told me.      "Oh, well, I'm doing fine!" I tried to respond with enthusiasm to not worry him, but it was hard when you were lying.       "That's good. Well, I also wanted to to ask if you wanted to come eat out with a couple of my friends from high school and I. They're all really nice. The restaurant is close to where you work, too." Junghan softly spoke.       My eyes widened. Why would he invite me? Maybe he was inviting everyone else, too, like Seokmin and the others. Or maybe he was just worried about me. The thought actually gave me some hope.       "Um," I was reluctant to meet new people, but I finally had an excuse to go out of my apartment for something other than work or grocery shopping, "Sure," I could practically see Junghan's genuine smile in my head at my reply. "What time?" I asked.         "JOSHUA!" I heard someone yelling my name from where I was sitting at a small bench under a tree. I looked over to see Seokmin running to me with Junghan and a few other unfamiliar faces following behind.       I let out a muffled yell once Seokmin grabbed my entire head and wrapped his arms around me, "It's been so long! Joshua! Oh my! Joshua!" he exclaimed.       He let me go with a big grin on his face, patting me on the back as I tried to catch my breath while holding on to my poor neck Seokmin as holding on to. Junghan and his other friends met us at the bench.       "It's nice to see you again!" he told me, giving me a smile. I looked up at him, still rubbing the back of my neck, nodding and smiling back.          We all sat in a big booth in the corner or the restaurant. It was dimly lit, with yellow and red lights. I wasn't sure what I was going to eat, but I knew I wanted a glass of water. Everyone seemed so happy, laughing about things, saying how long it's been since they last saw each other.      "These are my juniors from high school," Junghan smiled at his friends. Seokmin, Junghan, and I all sat next to each other, the other three of Junghan's friends in front of us.      They went down the line, introducing each other.      "I'm Junhui! But you can call me Jun!" one of them smiled. I nodded back.      "I'm Lee Chan! Please treat me kindly," he was the youngest out of all of us.       The last person was a girl. She smiled at me softly, "I'm Yein. Nice to meet you, Joshua."       I nodded back at her. I didn't really know what to say. Meeting new people wasn't my strongest point.       "I'm Joshua Hong," I introduced myself slowly, to which they all just nodded at me. It was getting quiet and kind of awkward. Yein kept staring at me, her expression anxious, almost worried looking. She probably thought I was weird or something.       "You see, Joshua here is an engineer at that big building nearby!" Seokmin proudly smiled.      "Yeah! He's really smart. He was always studying in school. He's great with computers!" Junghan added, making me bite my cheek. I tried to stay humble and quiet. I really felt embarrassed.      "Really? He should help me out sometime... My desktop's been buggy..." Yein told everyone, pouting her lips.      "Oh really? That ," Junghan said after setting down his drink.      "Mhm. I wanna get a new one, but money is tight for a college student," she chuckled, sadly smiling.      "So Josh should help you! Huh, Joshua?" Seokmin looked at me and my eyes widened. I opened my mouth to speak, but suddenly, s
