"Doojoonah, hello? Yoohoow?"

The older man snapped out of his trance as he blinked once, twice, finally came back to his senses. His eyes trained to the scowling petite man in front of him, scanning him from top to toe, and he spaced out once again.

"Hey! Come back to Earth, please?"
"...what, Yoseob..."
"Why do you 'what' me? I am the one who needs to ask you."
"...nah... I am good."
"Then stop staring at me," Yoseob rolled his eyes, half annoyed and half concerned, "...is something bad happened?"

Doojoon's blank gaze instantly filled with something. Yoseob couldn't really figure out what is it that made his stare softened, and somewhat warm.

"Nothing," Doojoon said softly, his hands reaching out for the younger man.

Yoseob set down his mug on the dining table, stood up and slowly walking towards him. His fingers entwined perfectly with Doojoon's as he let the older man pulled him to sit across his lap.

They stayed silent, the only sound that could be heard was the muted tick-tock-tick-tock from the clock. They pressed together so close--Doojoon's arms encircled his waist tightly, his familiar warmth seeped out of his skin, wrapped around Yoseob's body (safe in his arms). The younger man relaxed a bit, he leaned aside on Doojoon's chest, letting his breath out audibly.

"You are beautiful," Doojoon whispered, "So, so beautiful."

Yoseob blinked, he rested his hands on Doojoon's forearm (Doojoon entwined their fingers together, like vines).

"What brings this up?"
"I saw your recent magazine pictorial spread," the older man said softly, "They are amazing."

The younger man chuckled a little, so that was why Doojoon acted weirdly around him since morning--spacing out, staring at him, deep breathing, eyes expressing something new for Yoseob--like he just found something.

"The photographer and editor's hard work is really paid off then, look at you being all quiet and stuff. One reader is definitely enchanted by that," he said jokingly, "I probably should type this down on the group chat."
"No," D
