Note: I do not recommend reading this fic if you have not watched all of EXO Next Door. I do, however, recommend watching EXO Next Door, *then* reading this fic :3

This is primarily a dramafic in which Chanyeol is a severe douche of a love interest and D.O. is a douche of a friend, and secondarily a romance.

EXO Next Door Synposis (Spoiler Alert)

If you choose to ignore this advice and have never watched EXO Next Door, here you go:

Chanyeol, D.O., Sehun, and Baekhyun move in next door to a fan named Ji Yeon-hee, a girl who suffers from chronic blushing. The house was owned by Chanyeol's late and beloved grandfather. Chanyeol is looking for the second of a pair of twin necklaces his grandfather gave him.

Yeon-hee's mother is their real estate agent, and she makes Yeon-hee work as a cleaning lady at EXO's house. There are several incidents in which Chanyeol catches Yeon-hee doing something she shouldn't be doing, and he gets more and more annoyed. What's equally irritating is the fact that Yeon-hee doesn't remember that Chanyeol is her childhood friend Chan, who used to play with her and protect her from bullies when he visited his grandfather.

While Yeon-hee does more and more to make Chanyeol get angry at her, D.O. is there to make her feel better, and they grow closer. Throughout the series, D.O. seems to struggle with whether or not to pursue her (a la Bro Code.) He know she wants Chanyeol, and in the end he cedes and lets them pursue their romance uninterrupted. Unfortunately, before things can intensify, the guys move out of the house, but six months later they return with the rest of EXO-K in tow, and soon after is when our story begins.
