Kim’s POV

“What are you doing here?!” Kris said as he gave Jessica a friendly hug.

Jessica smiled brightly as she hugged him and said, “I’m here to work on my solo activities.”

“Oh that’s great! So that means you will be in China for a while right? We can catch up if you want.” Kris smiled at her and then at me like he does not feel the cold air between Jessica and I.

I wanted to facepalm myself so bad, but I just faked a smile back and nodded.

Why are you so dense my stupidly handsome hubby?

While Kris was upstairs in our master bathroom taking a shower, Jessica helped me setting up the table in silence. 

I was at the sink cleaning up the kitchen while waiting for Kris, I felt a pair of arms wrapping around my waist from the back. I smiled knowing who it was and took in his freshly showered scent. He snuggled and kissed my neck.

“We’re having Italian food tonight, babe.” I said will feeling proud of my creations.

“Of course my wife is the best. Always know what I want.” Kris said in my ear sounding almost in a sensual way.
