He has no home. He has no family. After a tragic fire that burned down the house he grew up in, Baekhyun lost his family to the flames of hell. At the tender age of 14, the nightmares still haunted him although 2 years have passed. He is placed with a foster family that is far from nice. Mr. Wu Yi Fan, a.k.a Kris, and Mr. Kim Joonmyeon were strict and abusing parents. Their fraternal twin sons, Lu Han and Minseok smoked and did drugs, all at the young age of 17. Being the youngest, Baekhyun was sent to do all of the chores and be a maid to the family, serving as their sole slave. Every night, the young boy would curl into a ball deep under his worn-out blanket and pray for sleep to never come. Sleep meant reliving his fears, watching his family die on rewind. Sleep meant that when he wakes up from his nightmares, he will have to live in one. Until it didn't.
