Dongwoon looked at his phone screen with a frown of uncertainty. He needed some time to be sure if he would actually do what he wanted to do or not. It was simply putting a new little thing on his phone, but he was scared it would look too desperate to do so. The app he had downloaded was open and he was still reading over and over again the option that interested him. There was a simple button to activate – change the OFF into a ON one. Then, the new lock screen would appeared each time he would turn on his phone to check his kakaotalk messages or the naver main page.
But in fact, it wasn't a normal lock screen, like a colorful wallpaper or the latest Dujun meme he had found while strolling on the internet – their leader was one of the best when it came to do such memorable and funny faces. But it wasn't the point here. The app he had downloaded was usually used by B2uties since it was called 'Fandom for BEAST'. To be honest it was cute to see all the messages they posted thanks to this app and he was always happy to see the love Beast received. But here, he was the most interested in the option that was the “lock screen” option.
It was like every lock screen, instead that there was the possibility to have fake notifications for possible messages from your favourite idol. You could put a profile picture with a surname and automatic messages would appear with your name in it, with cute sentences as if your idol was texting you on a daily basis.
The question was: why did Dongwoon need it? After all, he was literaly living with Beast, even was a part of the group. He talked everyday with his hyungs, they ate together, exchanged not-so-funny jokes and they were the most precious persons on earth for him right after his family. Why would he put this advice on his phone to fake having messages from a member since he already had messages from them?
The answer was: Dongwoon wanted to have the affection of a particular member, which wasn't really the type of that member. And since he found himself more sensible and in need of love than usual, that's why he came with this idea. This little illusion was nothing, right? If it made him happy, then it was the best he could do. The members didn't have to know about it. They usually didn't take his phone without his permission and if they watched something on it with him, the lockscreen was already gone and no one could see it.
'The name of the star'. Dongwoon didn't hesitate when he wrote 'Junhyungie hyung' for that case. He tried not to blush when he added 'Woonie' for his own name. He then chose the pictures to display and that was all done. Dongwoon put his phone on standby mode for few seconds, and switched it on once again. The lockscreen appeared as it should be: a little notification rectangle of a fake message on kakaotalk sent by 'Junhyungie hyung', kindly saying 'I like you Woonie ♥'.
A huge grin blossomed on Dongwoon's face and he faned himself because damn, this app was cuter than he thought. And he was more on the fangirl side than he thought, too. But maybe he couldn't compare his feelings to the love fans had for them. It was true that Dongwoon might have a tiny crush on Yong Junhyung. Maybe more than tiny. But this crush was there and so Dongwoon wanted to lull himself with fake cute messages that Junhyung would never send in reality. Seriously, he wasn't the type to write 'Whenever I look at you, my heart flutters ♥' except if it was for one of their songs.
So for days, Dongwoon would always look at his lockscreen and giggled seeing the fake messages that could lighten his mood a little. Of course there were the true messages his hyungs sent him too, but they didn't have this feeling of affection someone
