Her heart was her star and she stole it.
She remembers it just as if it had happened yesterday, the rain hitting the window pane and the drops streaming down the glass.
Her eyes were also b with tears that would sooner then later be streaming down her face.
She looked at her one last time as she left.
Not a goodbye, not a word or a smile.
Nothing, she just grabbed all her things and left. She was somehow disappointed by her attitude.
After all that she had given her this was how they were ending it?
No goodbye, no smile, no kiss, just a door being shut and that's it?
Apparently, that was it, for sometime she really hoped there would be some way where they could be together but later she just realized it was hopeless.
There was no going back.
And now 2 years later...although she somehow still has a small hope, the best part of her just hopes she doesn't find her, that she doesn't see her.
But that would not be happening, that's how tricky fate really is.
She was attending a party for the presentation of a new brand. She was coming in from the US where she had spent the past 4 years to attend.
She put on her best clothes, and her iest make up. She was as usual, dazzling and the crowd could and would not stop looking at her, the party was going fine until she decided to go to the rooftop.
The moment she opened that door and stepped into that terrace.
That's when fate really worked it's magic, there she was...the same girl she had seen leaving years go, sitting peacefully against the wall and looking at the stars, like always she was wearing one of her tomboyish suits.
She was looking up, the property was somewhere far away from the city, so she wondered if she was star gazing, she looked up to see what she was seeing.
You could certainly see some stars.
She hadn't noticed her, she didn't know what to do, she felt so lost that she just awkwardly stood there. Until, she noticed her.

"Tiffany?" Her sweet voice asked.

Tiffany felt a bit of her heart melt instantaneously...
That voice she hadn't heard in so long.
Tiffany just looked at her and nodded slightly...
She didn't say anything and Taeyeon also stayed silence.
For a bit it seemed like this would be their encounter after 4 years.
But then Taeyeon changed everything, she hugged her tightly, Tiffany was shocked by her action so she couldn't react in any way, she just stayed still while Taeyeon hugged her.
Her eyes opened in surprise.
Taeyeon looked her in the eye.

"I missed you" She said.

Tiffany again didn't say anything.

"I'm...I'm sorry, I didn't, I was...I don't..." Taeyeon was trying to find words to say but there was nothing she could say.

Because, in a way, she wasn't really sorry, and at that time she really meant it, she was not regretful and she doesn't want anything else but her again.
She knows that that is what Taeyeon really wants to say but she won't tell her she knows.
She knows Taeyeon wants her, but she won't be with her.
Because she hurt her too much, because when she needed her the most Taeyeon ditched her and carried on with her life.
Taeyeon leaned in, maybe she was hoping for some kind of reconciliation with that hug but...it wasn't happening.
Because Taeyeon's heart was Tiffany's star and when she left 4 years ago she stole it, now she didn't want it back, now she was her own star she didn't need anyone.
She leaned back, Taeyeon looked at her, Tiffany frowned before giving her a slight smile and leaving that rooftop. Taeyeon just sat back again and looked up to the stars.
To the one star she was always looking...but suddenly it wasn't there anymore.
