By the time the others had come back from a day of shopping, the sky was darkening. The warm evening air turned cooler,  but Hyunsik felt relieved, his vest was clinging to him at this point. The tired boys collapsed to the ground as Ilhoon, Sungjae, Eunkwang and Changsub made their way to the basketball court. Hyunsik saw a small tub in Sungjae's hands as they joined to sit next to them.  "We bought strawberries," Changsub informed the others, with a triumphant smile on his face.  Minhyuk was the first to grab a handful of the red berries and stuff them into his mouth.  Hyunsik followed, taking one and biting into it. It tasted sweet and refreshing in Hyunsik's mouth, almost reminiscent of hot, long summers in Seoul.  "These are nice," Peniel said, as the other boys just nodded in agreement, too busy eating to talk.  Hyunsik could see Ilhoon a small distance away from him. They made eye contact but Ilhoon was the first to look away. Hyunsik wondered why he was being like this, so distant and off, he wasn't usually like it. Ilhoon was loud and passionate and everything Hyunsik wanted to be. He would speak his mind and everyone would admire him for it. Hyunsik was pretty much the opposite, he thought a lot, but he didn't say much.    "Eat this, hyung!" Sungjae exclaimed, pointing the strawberry in Ilhoon's direction to take.  Ilhoon was about to take the strawberry with his fingers, before Sungjae pulled it back.  "No, let me feed you," he explained.  Eunkwang laughed a little too loud at Sungjae's new paternal nature but continued to watch anyway.  Ilhoon leaned forward hesitantly, and bit into the strawberry which was placed in between Sungjae's fingers.  Everyone laughed at the gesture, and Ilhoon smiled genuinely, but he couldn't meet Hyunsik's eyes. Why was Ilhoon smiling now, when he was so upset before? Hyunsik thought to himself. Hehad to look away, distracting himself by playing with his fingers. Hyunsik didn't like the way that Sungjae's fingers touched Ilhoon's mouth. He didn't like the way Ilhoon was sat closer to Sungjae now, nor the way the red juice of the berry tinted Ilhoon's lips. He just didn't like any of it.    The sweet taste of strawberries in Hyunsik's mouth now left him feeling sick.  The boys ate the remainder of the berries deliciously, apart from Hyunsik.  "Do you want one?" Ilhoon asked quietly, handing the now stained tub over to him. The older boy shook his head adamantly, "I don't want any more." "You only ate one!"  Hyunsik looked at Ilhoon seriously, his eyes travelling down to his berry stained lips.  "I-I don't feel well. I think I might go to sleep, night," Hyunsik mumbled, getting up and walking back towards the dorm.  "Get better soon," Ilhoon said softly, and it sounded like he genuinely meant it. But Hyunsik couldn't get better soon because Ilhoon was part of the problem.      Later on that night Hyunsik woke up to find Ilhoon's bed empty. He stumbled out of the room silently, making his way to where the source of light which was now in his line of sight was coming from.  Hyunsik found him hunched over the kitchen table again.
