Sun Hee's POV

I was in my Algebra class, writing down everything on the blackboard while listening to my teacher explaining about factorization and algebraic fractions. I was so tired today, it was my last class before my second break and still I need to finish my essay for Painting class about the watercolor. What a great topic. As the teacher kept explaining, the bell rang. “ Finally “. I thought. I closed my notebook, put it in my backpack along with my pencilcase and swung it over my shoulders before standing up and leaving the classroom. It was break time so I just have 15 minutes to take a rest before going to my Geography class. I decided to go to the university’s library so I could finish my essay. I have to deliver it to the teacher before lunch time if I wanted to have an A in that class.

I finally arrived at the library and looked around for a spot. I found an empty table and I walked over there. I placed my backpack on the table and sat down before taking my essay out. As I started writing, I felt a presence besides me. I looked up and my eyes met Danna, my classmate from Literature. She smiled and waved at me.

- “ Hi Sun Hee! I’m sorry if I interrup you but I was wondering if I can borrow your Literature notebook. I didn’t come last week and I need to catch up with a lot of things “. She said with a shy smile.

Well, I couldn’t say no if she really need it.

- “ Sure “. I replied as I took out the notebook and passed it to her. She smiled and grabbed it.

- “ Thanks Sun Hee! I owned you one! “. She said before leaving.

I chuckled and I went back with my essay. That was one of my problems, saying no to the people who needs help. In fact, when they call me for help, I can’t give them my back and ignore them. I was too weak for that. I would always help people, even if I’m on the edge of passing out.

I finished with the essay and left the library before the bell rang. I arrived at the Geography classroom in time and I sighed in relief when I sat on my desk. I really need to do some exercise. After breathing normally, I properly sat up and paid attention to the teacher.

Taehyung's POV

Looking at the clock, I tapped the pencil on my exam. Yeah, I was in the middle of an important Economics exam. My brain was like it was about to explode while my anxiety and nervousness were taking over me. I had one question left and I didn’t know what to answer and that I was like this for the past 30 minutes.

- “ Five more minutes “. The teacher said. I grew more tensed. I really need a good score this time. I failed in the last exam, I can’t fail in this one.

- “ Come on! Think! “. I mumbled to myself. Just then, the idea popped out and I immediately wrote down.

- “ Okay guys, time is up! Give me your exams! “. The teacher said. I looked at the exam to see if something was missing. After checking it, I passed it to the teacher.

- “ So, Mr Kim, how do you think it was the exam of today? “.

- “ Uff, how can I say this Mr Jo? Like the last one we had? “. I said in a sarcastic way. Mr Jo chuckled and patted my shoulder.

- “ I hope you did well this time. I gave like three easy questions in this exam. You should consider this as a gift “.

- “ Yeah sure~ “. I mumbled to myself. “ Well, see you tomorrow, Mr Jo “.

- “ Good bye, Mr Kim “.

I left the classroom and I sighed in relief as I stretched my body. I had to admit it. It was one of the largest exams I ever had in my life. Studying to become a businessman wasn’t easy as I thought. There were so many things you need to learn; economy, globalization, politics, etc.

All of those were boring topics for me, I really hated everything related with History when I was in high school but I couldn’t help it. Dad also studied here in this university to become a successful businessman and now he was the famous CEO of Hyundai Company. I don’t know if I will be able to run a company. I was more like into the nature. The human nature, animals, disease, everything related with Biology and Chemistry were my favorites back in high school. It wasn’t like I was the nerd back there, but I also had an interest in those topics. My dream was to become a doctor, a famous neurosurgeon. But that died down when my dad told me that his dream was me becoming the next CEO of the company. At first, I wanted to refuse about it, but seeing him so happy in me becoming the next CEO, I couldn’t help but to accept it. I just didn’t want to disappoint him, not after the things he done to me, like paying for a private school ever since middle school, getting me a car, my own apartment and also paid for my college bills. Everything of these, he would pay for it and I felt so guilty for that. It was my turn to do things on my own but whenever I want to, dad will interfired and would pay for it like money was just a simple thing.

I just needed a quiet place to clear my mind so I decided to go to the library since I have two free periods before lunch.

As I arrived, I headed to a corner of the library where no one goes. I sat on the floor as I place my backpack near me. I plugged my ears with my earphones as I crossed my arms before leaning my back against the bookshelf. Soon, my eyes closed and I driff off to dreamland.

Sun Hee's POV

The bell rang. Finally! I was like dying in there. I finally finished my Geography class and now I was heading to my Painting’s teacher Mrs Park’s office. As I reached there, I knocked the door and waited her to answer. Soon, the door opened and revealed a bright Mrs Park.

- “ Hi Sun Hee! Did you come to give me your essay? “.

- “ Yes “.

- “ Come in “. She said as she opened the door widely. I nodded as I stepped in and closed the door behind me before sitting across her desk. I passed her the folder with the essay. I should say that I was a perfectionist when it comes to essays and projects. Mrs Park took it and started checking on it. I started to feel nervous when she started reading it. It was realy important for me to get a good grade for this essay. I’ve been working on it without sleeping for the past three days and I deserve to have an A at least.

Mrs Park stopped reading and looked at me with a smile.

- “ I have to say that you wrote the best essay of watercolor in my class, Ms Lee. I never thought you had an amazing writing plus your puntuation and grammatic are excellent “.

- “ Thanks “. I shyly nodded.

- “ This essay deserves to have an A+ AND I would like to present it to other colleges as an example, would you mind? “.

- “ No, no at all “. I said with a smile.

She smiled back and placed the folder in her desk’s drawer.

- “ Congratulations Sun Hee, you passed my class. I hope to see another of your essays soon. You really inspired me with your writing. Have you ever thought in studying to become an author? “.

I shyly hide my face with my hair and just thanked her. Actually, I had an interest in writing. I mean, like writing stories and also had interest in publishing books but my passion was art so writing would be more like a hobby.

- “ It’s just a hobby I like. I would prefer to become an art teacher “. I replied. She just nodded.

- “ Well, it’s your decision and with any decision it’s okay “. She said. “ Well, you can leave now. See you in my class, Sun Hee “.

- “ Good bye Mrs Park “. I bowed to her before leaving her office.

I felt relief with my grade so it means I can take a rest in peace.

- “ Thanks God “. I mumbled to myself as I looked up and clasped my hands together. I took a deep breath before heading to the university’s canteen.

There were many people there. Did I told you that we are like more than 28.000 students? Anyways, I stood in the line to get a tray of food. After getting a tray, I decided to eat outside since the weather was nice. I sat under a sunshade, which was placed in the middle of the table. I grabbed my spoon and started eating my pumpkin porridge. God, I was so hungry. But I didn’t need to worry about eating fast since I have free period after lunch so I could study in the library before heading home. Even though I’m 22, I still lived with my parents, my brother and his wife. Some students are independent and they have their own apartment but I don’t mind living in the same roof with my parents and brother. In fact, I’m more comfortable living with them than being alone in an empty place. Also, the apartments here in Seoul are twice expensive than the apartment I used to live in Bucheon.

After eating my lunch, I headed to the library again. It was like my secret sanctuary where I could be in peace, with no distractions and disturbings. I feel more comfortable being in places related with books, paint and music than being in school’s festivals, parties or clubs. Clubbing and dancing were’t my style at all. I was more the quiet and shy type. I decided to go to the corner of the library since no one goes there and it will be quiet for me to study. As I found a desk, I placed my backpack on it and started to look for books in the shelves. I had to read a book about drama-romance type and then write about it, including my opinion about the book. As I looked for one, I slid my finger in the books. I like the feeling of slidding the books, it was comfortable and it felt nice.

Soon, I found a book of drama-romance called “ Trails of Broken Wings “. The title caught my attention so I decided to take a sneak peek. I liked the introduction so decided to read this one. As I started with the first chapter, I slowly started to walked backward. Little did I know that someone was sitting on the floor and I was more concentrate in the book than in the direction I was walking. Soon, as I took one more step back, I tripped with something and I fell backward and I landed on my . Jesus, that really hurt. I softly whined as I rubbed the sore area of my before looking up at a boy with brown hair slowly waking up.

- “ Damn it “. I cursed myself as I hid my face with my hair in shame.

Taehyung's POV

Suddenly I felt someone stepped on my legs and that’s when I woke up. I rubbed my eyes and took my earphones out. I turned my head to the right and I saw a girl sitting on the floor while rubbing in some part of the back. I looked at her clueless and then my eyes landed on a book and feet on my legs. She must have tripped over me. I stood up and fixed my uniform before I held a hand in front of her.

- “ Hey, are you okay? “. I asked.

She didn’t dare to look up as she just nodded and grabbed the book.

- “ Here, let me help you “.

She finally looked up. I froze when I met her gaze. Her eyes were so beautiful. It was like dark chocolate brown eyes. Her face was really small but her eyes were big and sparkling like diamonds. Her soft lips had a pink tone and her long dark hair looked like a soft waterfall. Everything on her was so beautiful that I kept staring at her without blinking. Soon, I snapped to reality when she took my hand. I instantly pulled her up and our noses touched. I noticed she stopped breathing as little red tones appeared on her cheeks. I gulped as I cleared my throat and I took a step back.

- “ Sorry “. I said.

- “ It-It’s alright “. She said as she scratched the back of her neck and looked away.

I also felt awkward with this situation as I awkwardly coughed.

- “ Well, bye “. She said as she turned around and left.

I took a step forward as I wanted to stop her, but it was useless. She was already gone. I ran my fingers through my hair and sighed in frustration.

- “ That was one of the most embarrassing moments of my life “. I mumbled to myself feeling uneasy and stupid at the same time. But I couldn’t help it. As I saw her, I felt something different inside of me, like I wanted to see her again. I wonder who she was. Was she in the university? In which class can she be? Those were my questions.

Sun Hee's POV

I felt my cheeks burning as hell as I got back to my desk. I never experienced something so embarrassing in my whole life. Could this day go worst than I expected? But then, I just stared at the nothing and just thought about him. As we met our gazes, I realized how tall and handsome he was, but I never saw him here. Maybe he was in this university but how didn’t she know him? I placed a hand on my chest and I realized that it was beating really fast. I just shook my head and I took out another notebook for Literature since I lend Danna my notebook a few hours ago.

- “ Stop thinking about him, Sun Hee. He isn’t important right now. You have an essay to write. Concentrate! “. I whispered to myself as I slightly hit the sides of my head with my hands like three times. I forgot about the boy and then I started reading the book.

As soon as I finished four chapters of the book, I left the library and now I was walking around the campus. When I reached the university’s door, I felt my phone vibrating. I immediately pulled it out from the pocket of my cardigan and then checked the screen. A smile appeared on my face when I realized who was calling. I cleared my throat before answering the phone.

- “ Hello? “.

- “ Hello, miss. Would you like to try our new black beans paste bread with a promotion of latte coffee and green salad? Just $6500 won* and you also get free cupons for the next time you visit here if you buy or promotion “.

* won=sign of money in Korean (like dollars in the US)

- “ Nice try brother, but you will never convince me to buy that promotion. It’s too expensive for a promotion “.

- “ Yah, don’t judge Shin Hye’s cooking. Besides, it’s our best price! You wouldn’t get just a price like this! Have you seen the promotion in Paris Baguette? Those are more expensive than ours! “.

I chuckled. I loved my brother’s reactions. That made me laugh everytime I imagine his expressions.

- “ So why did you call? Aren’t you busy? “.

- “ I just wanted to know when do you finish school. Shin Hye wanted you to come over the bakery so you can have a snack “.

- “ Aww~ That’s why I love my sister-in-law! “.

- “ Yah! I’m your brother! “.

- “ But you have to admit she makes the best chocolate muffins ever “.

- “ Mm… true, YAH! Don’t change the topic! “.

- “ Aigoo, is my brother jealous because I love more his wife than him? “.

- “ Yes, now get your here before I closed the door in front of your nose “.

- “ Aishh ok! I’m coming! Hang up! “. I said as I hung up and shoved it back in the pocket. “ Just a baby “. I shook my head and started walking.

I didn’t need to take the bus since the bakery my brother owns was a few blocks away from my university. Besides, it was one of the places I could have snacks and also do my homeworks and studying.

It took me 7 minutes to reach there. I opened the door and stepped in. I fixed my hair and looked around the place. The smell of bread and coffee invaded my nose and soon my tummy started to growl.

- “ Wow~ Is there a lion inside of your stomach? “. A voice said. I turned around and saw my sister-in-law. I smiled.

- “ Unnie! “. I exclaimed and hugged her.

- “ Yah, yah! No hugging and love expression in my bakery “. My brother said as he pulled me and Shin Hye apart, standing in the middle of us.

- “ Your bakery? You mean OUR bakery “. Shin Hye emphazised.

- “ Literally, I paid for the place, so it’s my bakery “.

- “ But who’s the one who bakes bread, cookies, cakes and muffins? “.

- “ OK, stop fighting. I’m starving “. I said as I stepped in the middle of them.

Shin Hye turned to me and smiled.

- “ I will get your favorite “. She said as she turned to my brother and glared at him before leaving to the kitchen.

- “ You are so gentle “. I sarcastically said to him as I crossed my arms.

Jong Suk rolled his eyes and walked away to where the cash register was. I followed him behind and rested my elbows on the wooden tablet.

- “ So, how’s business going? Everytime I come here, more people are coming “.

- “ As you can, my dear sister, thanks to your amazing and smart brother, the business here increased more than last month “. He said as he wiggled his eyebrows. I just rolled my eyes. He was really just a smug person, but in the good way.

After he said that, he received a smack on his head from Shin Hye.

- “ Like you do all the work here “. She said. Jong Suk glared at her and pretended to hit her as he mumbled some words. Shin Hye rolled her eyes and looked back at me with her angelical smile. “ Here, sweet bread with mocha latte and your favorite, chocolate muffin “. She said as she passed me the tray.

- “ Thanks unnie, you are the best “. I said before heading to a table so I could eat.

Shin Hye and Jong Suk followed me behind and both of them sat across me. I started to unwrapped the sweet bread and I took a bit of it before chewing it. I sighed in relief because of the sweet taste.

- “ God, unnie. Your sweet bread is the best. I could eat this everyday including lunch and dinner “. I said and Shin Hye just giggled by my comment.

- “ If you always eat those, you will get fat “. Jong Suk said while crossing his arms.

I glared at him before kicking his leg with my foot. He yelped in pain as he rubbed the sore area of his leg while glaring at me as I stuck my tongue out. Shin Hye just watched us while trying to hold her laugh.

I blew a raspberry before taking a big bite of the sweet bread.
