It was just another like all the others. I would wake up, take a shower, eat breakfast, go to work, go to school, make some homework, have dinner, study some more and then go back to bed. It always was like this every single day and I am sick of it, I hate it but of all things I hate my job the most. Especially when I had to start early and I had my shift with Hakyeon.

“Good morning Wonsikkie~” My colleague and best friend since high school greeted me when I came into the store through the back door.
“Good morning Hyung.” I greeted

He must have arrived a few minutes before me, noticing he still wore his jacket. I walked to the coat rack hanging my own jacket on it before heading into the shop, Hakyeon close behind.  I took the chairs from the tables and placed them on the ground while Hakyeon started the machines.

Most people would say that your life starts when you’re in the twenties but in my opinion that’s not true at all. Right after graduating from college and going into university Hakyeon and I started to look for a job since we didn’t had money to go out at all. We just finished college and went straight to another school, so what would people expect we were students and students don’t have money because of all the school fee and such we have to pay every month. And now we have the money to go out, we couldn’t go because we had to an even busier schedule then before now we had to switch our free time for our work time at Starbucks.

It was now ten o’clock, the morning rush had passed by already an hour ago, since school starts at ten past nine in the morning for most of the students and lots of them need their morning coffee to start their day. Hakyeon and I were some of the exceptions, our classes started around one in the afternoon the only stupid thing about that would be that our classes sometimes last ‘till eight pm.

“Just one hour left until we are done.” Hakyeon said stretching his arms as he still stood behind the counter.

He usually would stay behind the cash desk, taking orders. He was like a social butterfly talking to anyone, doesn’t matter who it is or how late it is. He sure is always talkative, positive and cheerful. Most costumers liked that about him but just like every morning he get lots of death glares because his cheerful personality is pretty annoying in the early morning according to most people. but still he wouldn’t mind that, he always kept smiling anyways.

 “Then we got two hours to lunch and get ready for our long day at school.” I said and let out a sigh as I was cleaning the spilled coffee from the tables costumers had used.
“By the way, did you finished your assignment for English? We had to turn it in today.”
“What assignment?” I asked confused as I dropped the wet cloth on the table “We had a deadline today? Since when do we ha-” I started to panic but got caught off by the bell which make a sound every time a costumer walked in

We both looked at the door, there stood a man, probably in the twenties as well. He was long and had a fair skin. He didn’t’ show any emotion. He slowly walked over to the counter.

“Good morning~!” Hakyeon greeted cheerfully but got totally ignored by the man.

I just let it be, it’s not like we didn’t had costumers like that before. I continued to clean the tables as Hakyeon took the man’s order.
