Onew and Jonghyun's Verison

It was a stormy night; everyone was staying indoors for their own safety and warmth. But two events of their loves’ one betray occurs at this very night. However, their choice of reacting to the situation was very different.

The house was cold and empty. The dinner specially cooked was left untouched and had already turned cold. Onew was waiting patiently in the dim lighted living room for his lover to return. Deep down inside his heart, he knew where Jonghyun went and what he was doing. But he tried to blind himself with the lie that he was still working in the office.

Noises of keys opening the door were heard. The leader stood up immediately and welcomed his lover home.

“Welcome home! I have prepared dinner today. You can take a hot bath while I heat up the food.” The older one helped to get his briefcase and coat, placing them at a side and hung the coat up.

Jonghyun wanted to come clean with Onew. The younger could not stand watching him deceiving himself and putting on a fake smile in front him knowing that he was with another guy.

“Jinki hyung, I have something to tell you.”

Jonghyun had rarely, almost never called Onew by his real name or even adding the phrase hyung behind his name at all. They had agreed on the fact that no formalities should be found between their conversations since they were lovers. This had made the older one taken aback by the sudden formalities in his sentence. Today is the day that everything would have to come to an end.

But Onew managed to recover from the shock, “we can talk later. You better take a bath first so that you don’t get a cold.”

“You and I have to talk now,” he insisted.

“I have boil soup in the afternoon, would you want to have some too?” The older one quickly changed the topic, not wanting have the talk with Jonghyun.

He knew that if the vocalist were to have the talk with him, everything will come to an end. And that was something he did not want to.

“Jinki hyung, changing the topic won’t help.”

Clang! The sound of plates braking was heard from the kitchen. The younger one quickly rushed over to the kitchen and found his lover squatting in front of the broken pieces of silverware. He could clearly see blood slowly dripping down from his hands onto the floor. Jonghyun took the first aid kid from the cabinet and quickly rushed over to Onew.

He held onto his wrist, checking that there were no broken pieces of glasses left and slowly wiped away the blood that was flowing out.

“Are you okay, did you get hurt anywhere else?”

Jonghyun lifted his head up to see Onew holding back from crying out loud and tears was quietly falling down his cheeks.

The other hand was pointing towards the position of his heart, “here.”

“Jinki hyung…” The older one could no longer control himself and started crying hysterically.

Jonghyun did not stop his sentence. He knew if he did not end their relationship now, the pain he had caused would never stop. How can he torture Onew when the person who was at fault was himself?

“I really don’t want to hurt you anymore. Let’s…” Before he could end everything, Onew had stopped him in time.

“Don’t speak,” He begged.

Onew close up the gap between them, placing a kiss on his lips.
