Description
One girl had been observing a boy [who doesn't smile] ever since they've entered college. He belongs to the same class and major with her and they're taking up Cinematography. They haven't really talked to each other ever since their first day, a bit maybe. But she always felt that she can't just look and observe him. She needs something to do. That's when she came up with a plan... Project Happiness.
Characters:
Park Sandara / Dara
November 12
18 years old
She's a shy person at first but tend to feel comfortable with other people easily. (She also describes herself as an awkward penguin.) She tends to be quite reserved and isn't all out noisy. She loves peace and quiet. Dara loves to read, listen to music, and watch films. Dara believes strongly that she has a vivid imagination. She loves to daydream and live her own world.
She doesn't have any siblings and lives on her own in Seoul. She grew up with her grandmother, who raised her, in Busan. Dara's mother is working in United Kingdom and seldom goes home. Her father is unknown and forbidden to talk about.
Wu Yifan/ Kris
November 6
19 years old
He is a very quiet person and doesn't really like to mingle with anyone. He always wear a blank expression as his default face which caused other people to be afraid of him. He's always seen listening to music or sleeping. Kris is quite popular to girls as well because he's really good looking.
His family used to live in Canada before migrating to Korea, his parents trying their luck there. Kris became an orphan at an early age of eight. His parents died in a car accident and it was a miracle he survived, making him alone in the world because he doesn't have any relatives in Korea. He was taken in an orphanage and was adopted by rich parents. But Kris had always been distant and quiet, even to those who took care of him.
Park Chanyeol
November 27
19 years old
He's a guy who is always full of energy. He is very friendly towards other people and he always give others his bright smile. He likes talking and doesn't feel shy at all.
He grew up in Busan together with Dara and always had special feelings for her but it was obvious that it was one-sided. Still, he stayed by her side. His family's pretty much well-off but his parents have always been busy and he grew up technically with nannies and butlers.
Foreword
It was Dara's first day in college and she was really excited what lies beyond her college life.
Will she meet new friends?
Will she fall in love?
Will she achieve her goals?
She had always been looking forward to this day and finally it has arrived.
RIIIIIIING RIIIIIIIING! RIIIIIING RIIIIIIING!
"Yoboseyo?" Dara answered her phone. She wasn't able to check the caller ID because she was practically in a hurry since she doesn't want to be late for her first day and she just started fixing her things she needed for school.
"Sandara!" The person on the other line exclaimed. Dara chuckled upon hearing her friend's voice.
"Ya. Why are you shouting early in the morning?" She teased.
"Aigoo. Are you excited? Are you excited? I'll wait for you at the main gate, arasso?"
"Ya! Chanyeol! Are you in school already?"
"Ne~ I'll wait for you. See ya!" Chanyeol hung up and Dara smiled. The two of them were inseparable ever since they were kids. They loved watching films and both got interested in Cinematography and they tried entering the same university. They both passed and upon enrolling, they discovered that once again, they were classmates. Dara giggled at the thought.
She was living in an apartment in another neighborhood . On the other hand, Chanyeol was living on his own as well but in a different neighborhood. He had his own house and his nanny, ever since he was a kid, and his driver lives with him.

"Chanyeol!" Dara called out to him and waved her hand. Chanyeol grinned at her and waved back. She quickened her pace to reach him.
"Ya. Be careful. You might fa-" Chanyeol's words was cut off because Dara slipped. She would have fell face first but then a guy had caught her and held her waist tightly. Chanyeol was surprised as Dara, he then ran to them.
'So close! So close! Breathe, Park Sandara. This person just saved you. Breathe. Breathe. Breathe.' She thought to herself.
The guy helped Dara to stand up straight and was about to leave when Dara spoke. "Omo! Kamsahamnida." She said and bowed at the guy. He didn't say anything and instead just nodded his head in response, then just like that, he started to walk away.
"Are you okay, Dara?" Chanyeol asked, turning her to check if she had bruises. Dara chuckled and tapped his shoulder.
"Ya. Don't overreact. I'm fine, see? Now let's go to class before we got in late." Chanyeol smiled and nodded.
'Will I ever see him again?' Dara thought.
