When I walked to you're house, I saw you just about to enter, carrying a basket of flowers. I called you're name and you ran over to me and hugged me when you saw me. When we entered you're house, there was many food prepared on the table. You're mom greeted me and you're dad smiled at me. I asked you what's the celebration, and you smiled shyly and poked my sides.
"It's my birthday, Jimin."
I still feel how silly I felt and how you laughed when my eyes widened.
"Why didn't you tell me? I should've brought you a gift," I said to you. "Next time, tell me when's the special occassion."
"Silly. I don't need a gift. You're presence here is simply the best gift I've ever had."
When we sang you a birthday song, I didn't know.
I didn't know why you're voice cracks and you're eyes became glassy.
I didn't know why you're family wipes tears from their eyes every now and then.
And I didn't know how close I was from losing you.
