Three Wishes

Description

Kwon Ji Won has little expectation of anything impressive happening on her school trip to a lucky spring. Her only thought: it beats being in the classroom. Yet remarkable things tend to happen when one least expects them and before Ji Won knows it, she is the master of a genie named Kai. But with so many rules attached she quickly discovers that owning a genie – particularly one as flippant as Kai – isn’t as simple as making three wishes.11

Foreword

This fan fiction is inspired by one of my all-time favorite Disney movies, Aladdin. It's meant to be a short (~12 chapters) story centering on friendship with a side of comedy and magic (everything I loved about the movie plus the music). I'm also known to have long author's notes at the end of each chapter, but to save on scrolling time for those who don't want to read my ramblings, I'll post links to blog posts where I babble to my heart's content for anyone who is actually interested. I hope you enjoy reading and constructive criticism is always welcome!

Chapter 13: I came to this story after finding it on Korekrypta's recommendations list, and initially I thought it'd be some light hearted fluff and humor, and it was. But it was also so much more. I honestly love your writing style, it was so easy to follow and made reading this entire story a breeze. The characters were amazingly developed too, and I personally found Ji Won very relatable. I think you did a great job explaining her personality, her actions, choices and reasonings. I absolutely adore Kai and his flippant, blunt and mocking personality. And of course, the Ji Won / Kai relationship is adorable! Even though this story didn't have a particularly romantic end, I love the friendship between them. This story overall is just beautiful. I loved it. I don't know what else to say haha. I think this is better than Aladdin :P Anyway, great job on this! I'll be checking out Genie soon :)
