For you, a special gift from God, my companion until this moment..

I am writing this letter in the middle of the night, trying to concentrate in the dim moonlight and accompanied by regular breath of someone at my side. Every end of the spring, like tonight, I'm thinking hard to prepare a little surprise for the love of my life.

Junhee held a blanket that claded her body with her left hand, not aware of a drop of tears rolling down her cheeks, smiled, still holding the letter with her right hand.

“Oh, you’re up" A voice heard. Yifan entered the room then put a tray of two cups of coffee and two slices of sandwiches on a small table near their bed. "Good morn- Oh crap, Junhee!” Yifan rushed to his wife the moment he landed his sight on his wife. Snatching the letter Junhee was holding, Yifan sighed. “Okay, let’s just say I have to get another birthday gift for you and-“ he stopped when Junhee pecked her lips. He gasped, “My good God, you’re crying”

“I am not” Junhee said softly, held Yifan’s hand. “This is beautiful”

“I know I am not good at acting, pretending, lying to you and now keeping a secret will be added” Yifan sighed again. “I will take that as a compliment. Thanks” he kissed her wife.

“Yifan,” Junhee called. “I love you”

“Not as much as I do”

“No. I love you more”

“Okay, Junhee babe, are you trying to seduce me or what? At least, put your clothes on before you tell me that certain sentence, because I have a meeting at ten and here you are testing my self-control”

Junhee grinned, “You said that you would make my wish come true” then she pouted but the next second he expression became bright again, “Let’s just continue our baby program, hmm?”

“Junhee, I-“ Yifan couldn’t complete his sentence as Junhee kissed him hard and let the blanket slipped down.

Let’s just say Yifan had to make a new appointment for other day.
