Chapter 15:

Mino took a taxi and rushed to the hospital, barging into Jinwoo’s ward. He was fast asleep and Mino took a seat next to his bed, he swept a few strands of hair that was laying on his face. While waiting, he got a cup of coffee from the vending machine right outside Jinwoo’s room. As he walked in, Jinwoo stirred and woke up from his sleep and smiled weakly as he saw Mino walking in. Mino returned a smile and offered his cup of coffee to Jinwoo, Jinwoo shook his head lightly, “I only like the one opposite our school, I told you before”

“I’ll get it for you when you recover”

“And I still have to return you the bus fare you lent me that day”

“Return me that when you recover, there is interest”

Jinwoo chuckled, “I’ll have to get out of this hospital with a large load of debts then. I still owe my mother a lifetime of love since she’s brought me up”

Can you return me with a lifetime of love after you recover then?

The next day when Mino was on his way to the hospital to visit Jinwoo, he received a call from Seungyoon who spent the night there, “Mino, they said the cancer cells spreaded and he is on the life support now, if he doesn’t wakes next week, they’ll cut the life support off”

Tears welled up in Mino’s eyes as he rushed to the ward to see an unconscious Jinwoo now lying on the cold hospital bed as the smell of medicines filled the room with machines around him. The doctor walked in and Mino asked desperately, “what can I do for him? What will make him recover? Tell me!!!”
