Chapter 7

 

A few days later

 

YoonYul’s POV

 

‘ Yul, let’s go watch a movie ’

‘ I’m tired I wanna stay home ’ Yul said while her head on Yoong’s lap

‘ If so, then I’ll call Soo ’ Yoong takes her phone out but Yul takes it away

‘ You are not staying home with me? ’

‘ Is boring at home. Is good for you right, you can rest alone without me disturbing you ’

‘ I’ll go with you. Which movie do you wanna watch? ’

‘ You sure? You don’t need to go with me if you are tired I can take care of myself ’

‘ I’m not that tired afterall, let’s go watch a movie ’

‘ I’ll go change wait me here ’ Yul said then disappear in her bedroom

After a few minutes, Yul comes out

‘ I’m ready ’

Yoong wraps her arm around Yul’s happily

‘ Let’s go ’

Inside the elevator, Yul is about to push the parking button but Yoong stops her

‘ Let’s walk to the movie theater ’

‘ Ok ’

Inside the movie theater, Yul waits for Yoong to buy the snacks. From not to far, she saw Yoong holding two popcorns, one coke and one nachos.

 

‘ We are only two, how can we manage to eat it all ’ Yul said

‘ Don’t worry, we can finish it all ’

‘ Why you just bought one coke? ’

‘ The machine is broken. Don’t worry, I’ll share it with you ’ Yoong said

‘ Let’s go inside, the movie will start very soon ’

After they found their seats, Yoong starts eating

‘ Are you hungry? ’ Yul asks

‘ No, why? ’ Yoong asks innocently

‘ You are eating like there’s no tomorrow ’

‘ The snacks here are so delicious ’

‘ Are you coming for the movie or just for the snacks? ’

Yoong is thinking cutely ‘ Hmmmmm........more for the snacks ’

Yul shakes her head then chuckles seeing the cute doe-eyes girl.

In the middle of the movie, Yoong takes the coke and starts drinking but what she didn’t know is that the straw she is using now is Yul’s.

 

‘ You are using my straw ’ Yul said

‘ Huh? ’ Yoong looks down ‘ Sorry ’

Yul takes the coke back then she uses Yoong straw

‘ Hey, this is mine ’

‘ You used mine then I’ll just used yours ’

‘ I didn’t do it on purpose ’

‘ But you still used my straw right ’

Yoong crossed her arms while pouting

Yul chuckles and turns her attention back to the movie

 

After the movie

Yul saw Yoong shivering; she takes her scarf off her and wraps it around Yoong’s neck.

‘ How about you? ’

‘ I’m fine, let’s go ’ Yul smiles

After a few minutes, Yoong saw Yul shivering. She feels guilty, so she wraps half of the scarf around Yul’s neck. Yul looks at her in surprise

 

‘ I don’t want you to be frozen ’

Yul wraps her arms around Yoong’s shoulder.

‘ We should take the car tonight. Is so cold ’ Yul said

‘ Are you saying is my fault? ’ Yoong pouts

‘ If I get sick, is your fault ’

Yoong wraps her arms around Yul’s waist

‘ W-W-What are you doing? ’ Yul shutters while her heart is pounding crazily

‘ Make you warmer ’ Yoong said innocently

They finally arrived in front of the building, Yoong pulls off her arms around Yul.

‘ What are you doing? ’ Yul asks

‘ We arrive. What, do you still want my arm around your waist? ’ Yoong jokes

‘ Yah.....in your dream ’ Yul quickly pulls her arm away from Yoong’s shoulder too

‘ Let’s get inside, is cold out there ’ Yoong runs inside the building, when she turns around and saw Yul still standing at the same spot lost in her world

 

‘ Yul, hurry you will get sick if you stand there ’

‘ I’m coming ’

A few days later

Yul comes out from her room and saw Yoong ready to go out.

‘ Where are you going? ’

‘ I wanna go see Soo. I’ll be back late so you can eat without me ’ Yoong said

‘ Wait..... ’

‘ Yes Yul? ’

‘ I was about to go to Sica’s place ’

‘ Like this ’ Yoong said

Yul looks at her and she realizes that she is still in pyjama.

‘ I mean I was about to go to Sica’s place after I change. If you want I can drive you there since I’ll go there too ’

 

‘ If you don’t mind ’

‘ I don’t. Wait for me, I’ll be back very soon ’

SooSicaYoonYul’s POV

At Sica’s apartment

After taking a morning shower, she went out of her bedroom. She looks around but no sign of Soo.

 

Soo is not awake yet.....that’s weird she always the first to be awake...... – Sica thought

 

She slowly opens Soo’s bedroom door and saw Soo holding her head on the edge of the bed. Sica runs inside and kneel in front of Soo

 

‘ Soo, are you alright? ’ Sica asks worriedly

‘ Yeah....my head hurt a few minutes ago but is better now ’ Soo smiles

Soo is pale

‘ Let’s go to the hospital ’

‘ No, I’m fine now really ’

‘ Are you sure? ’ Sica cupped Soo’s face

‘ Yes. Don’t tell Fany or Yoong I don’t want them to worry ’

Sica nods

‘ I’ll go prepare the breakfast ’ Soo said

‘ Stay in bed for a while, I’ll go ’

* Ding Dong *

‘ Is Yoong ’ Soo said excitedly

Sica opens the door and saw YoonYul standing there with breakfast

‘ Hey Yoong, Yul what are you doing here? ’ Sica asks

‘ Yul said that she comes to visit you. You don’t know ’ Yoong said

‘ N........... ’

Yul quickly cuts Sica off ‘ Yoong, let’s get inside first. The foods will be cold ’

‘ I almost forget about the breakfast ’

The moment Yoong steps inside the apartment

‘ Yoong........... ’

Soo hugs Yoong tightly, of course Yoong hugs Soo back.

‘ Are you feeling ok? ’ Yoong asks after they pull off the hug

‘ I’m perfectly fine ’ Soo said while her arms still around Yoong’s waist that make both YulSic jealous.

 

‘ You look pale. Did Sica bullied you? ’ Yoong looks at Sica

‘ Yah......I did nothing ok ’ Sica defends

‘ Sica is very caring toward me ’

‘ You are caring???? ’ Yul looks at Sica

‘ Shut up ’ Sica gives a deadly glare at Yul

‘ What did you buy? ’ Soo looks at the bags

‘ I bought our favorite waffles and a lot more ’

SooNa tooks the bags from Yul’s hand and went into the kitchen leaving YulSic in the living room. Sica remarks that Yul didn’t take her eyes off Yoong the moment she went inside the kitchen

 

‘ What’s that look? ’ Sica asks

‘ What are you talking about? ’ Yul looks at Sica

‘ Come on Yul, you didn’t take your eyes off Yoong. Wait.....are you............. ’

‘ No, I’m not in love with her ’

Sica smirks ‘ I never said that you are in love with her. What I wanna asked is that are you taking care of your sister-in-law ’

 

‘ Are you tricking me? ’

 

‘ Yeah so?  ’

 

‘ Shut up ’ Yul said and starts flipping a magazine then she heard a chuckle from Sica.

Yul looks at Sica’s direction and saw her chuckling while looking at Soo

 

‘ You change ’ Yul suddenly said

‘  Huh? ’

‘ You never smile or look happy when Soo was around you a few years ago. Wait.....are you........... ’

 

‘ Yah....I’m not in love with Soo ’

 

Yul smirks ‘ Soo? I never said that you are in love with her, what I wanna asked is are you feeling guilty that’s why you act like this ’

 

Sica grabs Yul’s collar ‘ Are you tricking me? ’

‘ Yeah so? ’ Yul challenges

Sica sighs ‘ I don’t know what to do Yul. I think I’m falling for Soo ’

‘ Me too ’

‘ What???? ’

‘ Not Soo, Yoong ’

‘ Are you out of your mind? Yoong will be soon your sister-in-law ’

‘ And how about you? Soo is Fany’s girlfriend ’

Sica didn’t answer

Yul sighs

‘ We pushed them away a few years ago but now we are the one who fall in love with them ’

 

At SooNa’s side

 

‘ You and Yul seem close together ’ Soo said

 

‘ Yes, she is very nice. I’m happy to have her to be my sister-in-law. How about you and Sica ’ Yoong smiles

 

‘ After my accident, she changed her behavior toward me. She is a lot more caring and we spend a lot of time together........ ’ Soo said

 

‘ There’s something missing right? ’

 

Soo nods ‘ I should be happy because this is my dream to be like this with Sica but I don’t know why.........but I feel something is not right and I don’t know what ’

 

‘ Take your time, I’m sure you will remember everything soon ’ Yoong pats Soo’s shoulder

 

Soo nods ‘ Let’s join them ’

 

YulSic look at SooNa who is talking happily while preparing the plate. SooNa joins YulSic in the living room with two plates in their hand

 

Soo puts a plate in front of Sica and Yoong gives the other plate to Yul.

 ‘ What are you two planning to do? ’ Yoong asks

‘ What do you mean? ’ Yul asks while take a bite of the waffle

‘ Me and Yoong will go shopping together. So what’s your plan for today? ’

‘ We have nothing plan. Maybe we can go shopping together ’ Yul said

‘ I agree ’ Sica smiles

After breakfast the four girls went to the shopping mall together. Yoong wraps her arm around Soo’s the whole time while YulSic are following them from behind.

Yoong stops in front of the HMV

 

‘ Let’s go inside ’

‘ You have something to buy ’ Soo asks

‘ Oppa wanna buy 2PM album but he didn’t have time to come ’

‘ Such a great fiancée ’ Soo teases

Yoong slaps Soo’s shoulder playfully

Yul hurt is clenching when she heard SooNa’s conversation but still manage so smile in front of Yoong.

 

After a few hours they went back to their own place.

 

A few days later

SooSica’s POV

They are in the living room flipping magazines

‘ Soo, I have to go to a business trip ’

‘ When? ’

‘ Tomorrow ’

‘ How long? ’

‘ A week. During these week I don’t think I’ll have time to call you ’

‘ Is ok I understand ’ Soo looks down

‘ After I come back I’ll make it up to you ok ’

‘ I’ll prepare diner the day you come back ’

‘ Ok ’

They look at each other and their face slowly went closer. Their lips touch each other, at first it was just a kiss but slowly it become more passionate. Sica wraps her arms around Soo’s neck to deepen the kiss. Soo picks Sica in bridal position without breaking their kiss. She slowly lay Sica on her bed

 

‘ I love you Sica-ah...... ’

‘ I love you too ’ Sica confess

Soo smiles and crashes her lips on Sica.

YoonYul’s POV

They prepare to go out for diner, they heard the door open. Yoong saw Keun-Suk comes in

 

‘ Oppa ’ Yoong runs toward him happily

‘ Do you miss me? ’ He asks while hugging his fiancée

‘ Of course I do. Why you didn’t tell me that you come back earlier? ’

‘ I want to give you a surprise ’ Keun-Suk said then kiss Yoong on the lips

Yul just comes out from her room and saw them kissing. She quickly turns away feeling her heart clenches again. This scene just breaking her heart.

 

After they pull off the kiss

‘ Let’s go have diner together ’ Keun-Suk said

‘ I promised Yul that I’ll have diner with her ’ Yoong said

Yul walks toward the happy couple and force a smile

‘ Oppa, you are back ’

Keun-Suk chuckles ‘ Why I have a feeling that my baby sis is not happy to see me ’

‘ What are you talking about? Of course I’m happy to see you ’

‘ I was joking ’ He hugs Yul

‘ Yul, let’s have diner together ’ Keun-Suk said

‘ I don’t wanna ruin your date with Yoong.......... ’

Yoong wraps her arms around Keun-Suk’s ‘ Come with us Yul, it will be more fun than just me and oppa ’ Yoong smiles

 

‘ Are you saying that I’m boring? ’ he pinches Yoong’s nose

 

Yoong pecks his lips ‘ Yes ’

 

He chuckles ‘ Yul just join us since my fiancée find me boring. I’m sure she likes you more than me ’

 

‘ Are you two sure? ’

 

‘ Yes ’ Yoong answers

 

Without any option, Yul just follow the happy couple.

 

Inside the restaurant, Yul tried to make herself busy with her phone because she didn’t want to watch the couple in front of her. Sometimes she secretly steal glance at Yoong and every time is just break her heart. Before the food comes, Keun-Suk excuses himself to take the call from the office.

 

‘ You seem happy tonight ’ Yul said after her brother walk away

‘ Of course I’m happy. I just miss oppa so much ’

Yul just smiles at Yoong’s answer

Keun-Suk comes back

‘ Yoong, I’m sorry I need to go back to the office after dinner ’

‘ Is ok oppa, I’ll go home with Yul ’ Yoong smiles

Keun-Suk looks at Yul ‘ Yul, can you take care of Yoong for me ’

‘ Of course I will even if you don’t ask me ’ Yul mumbles the last part of course they didn’t hear her

 

After dinner, Keun-Suk left YoonYul after sending them to Yul’s car.

Inside the car

‘ Yoong, do you wanna go watch the sunrise at the beach? ’

‘ Yes ’

‘ I’ll text oppa to tell him ’ Yul said

After two hours, they arrive at the beach.

‘ Yoong let’s sleep for a little while ’ Yul said

Yoong nods. They went to the backseat to be more comfortable. After a while, Yoong falls asleep on Yul’s shoulder. Yul looks at the sleeping Yoong and caress her face.

 

After a few hours

‘ Yoong, wake up ’ Yul slowly say

‘ Mmmm........ ’ Yoong rubbed her eyes

‘ Let’s go outside, is almost time ’

YoonYul sit on the sand. After a while, the sun slowly rise in front of them

‘ Is beautiful ’ Yoong said while looking at the sun

30 minutes later

‘ Thanks to bring me here Yul ’

Yul smiles

‘ Yoong ’

‘ Yes ’

‘ I did a mistake a few years ago. I hurt someone and now I realize that I’m in love with her. Do I have a chance to win her heart again? ’
