I GOT A STRANGER
Description
In the final year of their studies in university, Jinyoung and Mark got a ‘sweet surprised’ from their parents. The fact that both of them being excellent students and maintain excellent gpa, it’s seem quite normal to get some kind of rewards/gifts from their parents. A car? Credit card? New phone? Or maybe a doubled-up allowance to go shopping? No. Their parents arrange an engagement for them….well, more like “you already engaged to-“situation.
On Jinyoung :
“WHAT???!”
“Honey, please calm down-“
“NO,…omma,appa, why you guys do this to me?? I’m still studying~!”
“You going to graduate soon hon~” jinyoung’s mother chimed
“But…I DON’T EVEN KNOW HIM!” jinyoung feels like she want to vomit.
“You will later” jinyoung’s father said.
*pulls her own hair*
On Mark :
“What?! Dad, you’re kidding right? It’s not even April yet.”
“Son, this is not an April fool prank, no. This is real”
“I’m still young. I don’t want to get married!”
“Mark dear, you are not getting married…well, not yet. It’s only an engagement, to know each other better first.” His mother intercepts.
“I can’t believe this, this is the 21st century and you set me on an engagement? Without asking me first and you got me engaged with some random girl? This is unbelievable” Mark can feel his face is heating up like a hot teapot. He’s doing his best not to explode in front of his parents. He’s a ‘mommy’s and daddy’s boy’ anyway.
“Not just “some” random girl, she’s my old friend’s daughter~” papa Tuan smile happily.
Mark can’t believe this. He’s amazed how his dad can remain all smiles while he is so angry right now. Can’t his dad see this?
“We already exchange engagement’s rings,” papa Tuan continues
“HUH?” mark could feel his eyes popping out.
“..here’s yours. Beautiful isn’t it? Make sure you wear it when you see her later. Her name is Jinyoung by the way. Park Jinyoung”
Mama Tuan smiled apologetically. What can she do when her husband already decided?
“Come mama, we’re late already” Papa Tuan stands up and leave the living room.
Mama Tuan approaches Mark and cups his face.
“Dear, you’ll be fine okay?” she kissed Mark lightly on the lips and went after papa Tuan.

A/N : My very second fic of got7 and 1st fic of markjin, I only read ff with markjin but never write one. I only used to write with oc, cuz I really dunno how to write pairings/otp thus the female-jinyoung ;;; ㅋ But I hope you guys still enjoy it.
