for those who are confused of my randomness,

I'll explain to you :)

They were having a Staring Contest.

When I wrote; 'it all began when their eyes met' I meant when they just woke up in the morning and met each other's eyes,

and then there is a sentence that says; 'tears were shed' I meant that they were staring at each other for too long their eyes start to get painful and tears fell.

'When she closed her eyes' I meant she blinked.

So no, she's not dead.
