Tic toc.

Its completely silent here while I'm finishing my work at our SC room- I'm checking the class proposals for the upcoming school festival.

I was about to bore my eyes into the next set of papers when the door flung open.

"President? Why are you still here?" Chen, our SC vice president, asked me like I just commited a crime.

"I'm not yet done." I put my attentiom back into the pile of papers when he slammed his hand on it, but not in a rude way. He is not like that.

"No, go home now. I'll accompany you."

"I can't, look at these; it's a freaking tower of unapproved sheets. I need these by tomorrow-"

"You can do it later, at your house."

"But-"

"No president, no buts." Seriously? He is still addressing me as the president while talking to me like I'm his secretary?

I couldn't argue more because I also saw the clock, it's already quarter to 8 pm. How come I didn't notice it? He accompanied me to my car, him carrying the loads of papers. I thanked him and bid goodbye to each other. I drove home and I was surprised to see my family complete, waiting for me at the dining table.

"Hana." Dad called me with Mom smiling so dearly to me.

What is going on.

"Yes! 3 points!" my coach said and I just grinned. He approached me and said "Keep it up Lay." and gave me a pat on my back.

"Nice shot, dude." my teammates told me. We're currently practicing for an upcoming event.

Our coach announced that our practice has already ended. I'm already near my car when my phone rang.

Dad.

"Hello."
 

"Go straight home after your practice."  That's weird.

"Okay. Why? Is there something wrong?"
 

"I'll tell you when you're already here."

"Okay, I'm on my way."

He hung up after that. I have a hunch that we might be talking about that already. The idea just amuses me.

Well then, it's time.
