The snow has fallen hard last night and Henry was given permission to sleep in Chaerin's room provided that he sleeps on the floor. Chaerin's parents were nice enough to put a heating mat where Henry will settle to sleep. They arrived home a day late than they planned and they were surprised to see Henry in their house, all comfortable and cooking lunch. They gave him a hug, asked him how he's been and then let him get back to whatever it was that he was doing.

Questioning Chaerin isn't exactly their parenting method when it comes to Henry since they have known the boy since the two became friends but it  was different this time, he hasn't seen her for 7 months, who knows what happened to him in Boston. “Chaerin-ah, can we talk to you for a moment?” her mom said and they excused themselves. “When did he get here?” her dad said after closing the door
“About a day after you guys left. When he found out I was all alone, he volunteered to stay with me and sleep on the couch”
“Is that all?”
“Yes. Mom, come on that's Henry we're talking about here” she replied, assuring them.

“You asleep yet?” Chaerin asked, staring at the ceiling
“Almost”
“Oh. Good night then.”
“Kitten, what is it?” he said, getting all comfy
“Did you like have a girlfriend in Boston? I'm just curious since you really haven't told me anything”
“None. Now sleep. Good night, Kitten” he said
“Why?”
“Just because okay? Now please let me sleep”
“Henry…”
“What?” he asked, sitting up, looking at her
“Why?”
“No one caught my eye, okay? Besides, I already have you to keep me awake at night. I don't need another one to add to the stress. Happy?” he said and she nodded “Good night” he then said after going back to lying down
“Night, puffed cheeks” she said with a smile. ~~~~~~~~~~~
Henry was happy spending his holidays at Chaerin's. He missed all the jokes, the home made food, the company and the ambiance. Ever since he left for Boston, he hasn't felt that kind of feeling even with his mom. Both of them were too busy living their own lives that they rarely meet up even for a cup of coffee. After 7 months he felt like he was back home again. He was staring at the sky full of fireworks when a hand appeared on his shoulder “You okay?”
“Yup, I'm good. Just taking everything in.” he said, showing a smile
“Nothing like this in Boston?”
“I wouldn't say nothing; it is a bit different though.” he said, smiling at the sky; the fireworks fading
“Chaerin-ah! You two get in here! It's time to have a little wine” her mom said.

All of them raised their glasses, welcomed the New Year, stored the leftovers and went to their bedrooms to get ready for bed. Henry kept on staring at his phone and was smiling, he was looking at their expressions and noticed that in a span of seven months, they looked real different. “Chae, shouldn't we update this wallpaper?”
“Sure. I'll update mine too”
“Okay. Yours first” he said. Chaerin took her "Henry phone”, held it high to get a proper selca and set it as her wallpaper. Henry's was next; he held it up high, looked at Chaerin and he blew at her ear causing her to turn her head around and kiss him and "click". Chaerin's eyes grew big and her cheeks went red; Henry's ears were red as well. “What was that all about?” she said in a whisper like tone, she sounded a little angry
