(it's about 5.5k words~)

Anyways, sorry for the long A/N...please enjoy ^^

Sehun's muscles were aching by the time he ran through the tough dance routine for the millionth time already.  All he wanted to do was collapse and let exhaustion roll over him effortlessly.  He bent down and sat there on the wooden floors of the practice room.  With a heavy sigh, he wiped the sweat that was beading on his forehead.  The air felt hot around him, and he felt his eyelids slowly start to droop and close...

"You tired already?" Jongin asked, bringing Sehun back to full consciousness.  He had seen Sehun get tired before, but never during their dance practices.  Usually, the young maknae was wide awake and jumping with energy.  He had to admit, though, Sehun had been growing more and more weird as time went by.

"No, not at all," Sehun lied.  "I'm fine."  That half was true.  Through all the pain he was feeling, he still felt like he could do a hundred more dry runs of the dance routine.  That is, he would if his darn body wasn't so tired.

Life at SM Entertainment wasn't everything he thought it would be.  From the amount of work he had to do, and how tight his overall schedule was, to not being able to do anything he wanted to do in order to relax.  Not being able to get his regular dose of bubble tea killed him.  On top of that, he never got to see his family, or his childhood friends for that matter.  He guessed that's part of being an idol.  The agency literally strips your life away and replaces it.  You're no longer you.

Before he debuted, dancing was his only outlet to relaxation and true peace.  Now it was made another entrance to hell itself, and that scared him.  What was he going to do if he suddenly lost his drive to dance?

Sehun sighed, seeing Jongin light on his feet and ready to go for another run of their dance to "Overdose".  Honestly, Sehun was sick and tired of that song.  He had no idea why so many people liked it so much, but he figured that if he tried to pretend to like it, it would mean well for him, the group, their popularity, and the company.  No matter how much he tried, though, he just couldn't bring himself to like that song.

Maybe it's because Kris left.  Sehun pursed his lips before getting up and going to drink his bottle of water.  The former member had left so suddenly after their comeback, it startled all of them, Tao especially.  The entire group couldn't help but feel betrayed, even though Kris insisted that it was for some bigger cause that not one of them could understand.

It made Sehun feel utterly disappointed, because he looked up to Kris so much, and now, he had no idea why he ever did in the first place.  Not that Kris was a bad person, he just couldn't believe how someone as loyal as Kris would leave, especially at the time of an important comeback and live show series.  This was something Kris had been dreaming of ever since he started training, and Sehun could feel it.

Jongin glanced at Sehun as the boy walked back over to the center of the room.  It seemed as though his already fair skin was even paler, which was a large surprise to the darker-skinned boy.  He stared at Sehun with a concerned look on his face.

"What?  Is there something on my face?" Sehun asked as they made eye contact.

"No," Jongin said, a bit flustered, as he started the music and walked over.  "It's nothing."

As soon as he started dancing, Sehun felt his feet scream with pain.  At first, he tried to endure it by taking larger breaths than usual, which usually helped him calm down his nerves whenever he was on stage.  He had been through a lot of pains before, but none were like this particular one.  He bent over and fell to the side, defeated.  His lungs were burning as he rolled over onto his stomach.

Jongin, panicked, ran over and stopped the booming beat before dashing back to Sehun's side.  "Sehun-ah!"

"I'm fine," Sehun grunted as he sat up.  He shook his head, letting his hair spray droplets of sweat all over.  "I don't think I want to dance anymore today.  It just keeps getting worse and worse."

"You're just tired," Jongin said.  "All you need is time to rest up.  We all do, so don't worry."

Sehun, slightly annoyed, grabbed his phone and checked the calendar.  His eyes widened, and he received a weird look from Jongin.  "How is it Valentine's Day already?" he gasped.

"You didn't know?" Jongin asked as he tipped his head to the side.  Sehun wasn't one to forget things often, so this was a first.  A smirk dressed his lips.  "Did you get something for Luhan-hyung?"

"No!  I forgot!" Sehun yelled.  He couldn't believe he forgot the one and only day he vowed to remember.  If he didn't get Luhan something or do something for him, he felt like he would regret it for the rest of his life, however long that would be.  "You have to help me!"

"I do?" Jongin chuckled and shook his head.  "Every man for himself.  I already got Kyungsoo something."

Sehun rolled his eyes.  "Oh, please, don't make this about you."

"I like attention," Jongin admitted while shrugging.  "I'm just trying to point out how bad of a boyfriend you are.  You're lucky Luhan-hyung's really faithful and patient.  If I were him, I would dump you so hard-"

"If you were him?  Well, guess what?  You're not," Sehun scoffed.  "Jongin, you're not half the man Luhan-hyung is!"

"Touché," Jongin said, frowning.  "Some friend..."

Sehun sighed, shaking his head.  "I'm going to go out.  You can stay here and practice if you want."  He got up and grabbed his things before heading towards the door of the practice room.  His heart soared with freedom as he walked out of the cramped room and into the hallway.  His muscles suddenly regained their energy as he walked down the hall with a slight skip in his step.

"Make sure you go with someone!" Jongin called after him before turning the music on and dancing again.

Sehun found himself calling Tao, who was probably the only other person he felt comfortable with besides Jongin, as he was walking back to the dormitories.  For some reason, his gut told him that Tao would probably know what to do to help him.  Plus, he knew the shops around the area as if he had it written on the back of his hand, so getting around would not be a problem at all.

"Who is this?"  His voice sounded as if he just woke up from a deep nap.  He seemed to be taking a lot of those lately, and it was starting to become an issue.

"Really, Tao, you still don't have my phone number imputed?" Sehun asked, ignoring Tao's long, loud yawn.  He didn't even wait for a reply.  "Look, to keep things short and simple, I forgot today was Valentine's Day-"

"Well, then that for you, doesn't it?" Tao shot through the line.

Sehun was a bit shocked from his reaction and felt his temper rising.  "Tao-hyung, please, I really need your help."

He heard the other sigh heavily.  "Sehun-ah, don't you know how much I hate Valentine's Day?  And it isn't just because of Kris. It's too lovey-dovey for me.  I literally choke on cheesiness every single year."

"Valentine's Day isn't just about love.  It's a way to show appreciation to someone," Sehun explained dully.  "Come on, I really need your help.  No one loves to shop like you do, and besides, you see Luhan everyday while you guys are in China.  You probably know him better than I do!"

There was a slight pause, and Sehun knew Tao was thinking.  "What's in it for me?"

"I'll..."  What can I possibly do?  I don't want him draining my wallet.  An evil smile crept to his lips.  "I'll steal Joonmyun-hyung's credit card.  You can buy all the Gucci you want."  Bingo.

Tao hummed through the speaker.  "Okay, fine," he said.  "I'm at the main office.  Where are you?"

"Walking back to the dorms," Sehun replied.  "I have to get a disguise on."

The two quickly agreed to meet up at the shopping area, since Tao was already dressed.  Sehun bundled himself up in thick sweaters, a large scarf, and a matching beanie.  He was trying to decide whether to bring a mask or not.  He ended up leaving it, in hopes that his scarf would shield his face from his crazy fans.

Sehun went searching high and low for the perfect gift for Luhan as soon as he got to the shopping area with Tao.  Nothing seemed to scream out at him perfectly the way he expected.  Plus, Tao was vetoing every single thing Sehun pointed out, making it impossible to buy anything otherwise.  The burning hope Sehun had in the beginning of their search started to wear off within the first thirty minutes of shopping.

"Cheer up, Sehun-ah," Tao comforted him as they took a break at a nearby bubble tea shop.  "You'll find something eventually."

"Eventually," Sehun grumbled.

He took a sip of the cold drink and chewed on a tapioca bubble when something caught his eye.  He leaned over to the side, trying to get a better look at what was fascinating his eye so intently.

It was a small deer doll, and from where Sehun was sitting, it looked pretty soft and fluffy.  Just like Luhan.  He felt a smile reaching his lips, and Tao turned to see what he was staring at.  For some reason, it seemed to make Sehun tear up inside.  Something made him feel as if he were looking at Luhan himself, strangely.

"He would like that, wouldn't he?" Sehun asked himself out loud.  He suddenly looked away and took another sip of his bubble tea.  "Am I that stupid that someone as old as Luhan would like a dumb deer doll?"

Tao chuckled, tipping his hat downward as two girls walked by, covering his face.  "Luhan may be twenty-four, but last time I checked, he was still a kid."

"If he's a kid, then what am I?"

"A fetus."

Sehun leaned forward and smacked Tao's head playfully.  "Not funny, Tao."

"Okay, fine," Tao gave up with a laugh.  "But I think he would like it, as simple and cheap as it is.  After all, it's the thought that counts."

The younger leaned back in his seat and twirled the bubble tea cup around in his cold fingers.  Maybe it wouldn't be so bad to get Luhan the doll.  At least it wasn't Luhan's birthday yet, or else he would've been screwed big time.

He found himself finishing his drink and throwing it away before walking over to the small cart at the opposite side of the street. Tao followed closely behind, trying to avoid staring eyes.  Sehun reached the cart and hesitantly touched the deer.  He smiled as its soft fur felt warm against his skin.  The beaded eyes seemed almost genuine, sparkling in the light.

"Would you like that?"

Sehun looked up to see a sweet-looking old man.  His grey hair and wrinkles showed slightly from underneath his hat.

"Yes, please," Sehun found himself answering politely.

The old man seemed to be amused.  "Buying it for someone?  A special girl, perhaps?"

"Um," Sehun coughed and adjusted his beanie.  "Actually, it's for a special hyung of mine."

"Oh, is it now?" the old man chuckled.  He took a closer, longer look at Sehun's face.  "Say, are you part of one of those young boy groups?"

Sehun blushed.  "Yes, me and my friend here."  He gestured to Tao, who was looking at the different things on the cart.  "We're part of a group called EXO.  We've been around for a couple years now."

"Ah, I see," the old man said.  "I have a young granddaughter, and there are certain boy groups she talks about all the time."  He laughed and shook his head.  "You look like the one she shows me all the time."

"Oh?"  Sehun's eyes widened.

The old man flashed a toothy grin.  "Can I get an autograph for her?"

Sehun looked at Tao, who blinked indifferently.  Sehun smiled and nodded as the old man got out a wrinkled piece of paper and an old-looking marker.  He felt a small pang of sympathy as the old man patiently and faithfully waited for him to sign it.

"What's her name?  Your granddaughter?" Tao asked.

"Sojin.  Shin Sojin," the old man answered.

Sehun signed it quickly with a flick of his wrist before handing the marker to Tao, who signed it with a soft smile.  Tao handed the pen and paper back to the old man, who held it close to his heart.  It made both the younger boys feel somewhat special, that someone as faithful as that grandfather would treasure something as simple as an autograph for his granddaughter.  In fact, it was the first thing that touched Sehun's heart ever since the end of his trainee days.

The grandfather pushed the stuffed deer doll into Sehun's hands.  "Take it.  No need to pay."

"Ah, but-"

The old man smiled.  "Just take it."  He pat Sehun's shoulder.  "You keep performing to your best for my granddaughter.  Okay?"

"Thank you," Sehun said and bowed.  What else was he supposed to say?  For once in his life, Oh Sehun felt like a complete idiot.  "Thank you," he said again.

With that, he and Tao bowed and waved at the old man before leaving.  They walked back down the street to their dorms, trying to clear their heads of what happened before walking into the SM building while dodging all the screaming fangirls waiting outside the front door.  Sehun rolled his eyes as a fan shoved a heart-shaped box of chocolate into his hands.  He took it, being the nice idol he was, but as soon as he got inside, he tossed it into the nearest trashcan.  They were taught to do that, never to accept anything from fans, especially sasaengs.  You never know what they might do to the presents.

He frowned and held the deer doll close to his chest as he walked down the hall with Tao to their dorm.  For some reason, it made him feel extra warm inside.

"There you are!  I was getting worried about you two," Joonmyun exclaimed as they entered the small dorm.  "Where were you?"

"Sorry, umma," Tao teased.  "Sehun-baby wanted me to come with him to get a present."

"I see," Joonmyun commented, eyeing Sehun.  "By any chance, is the present for me?"

"Mehrong," Sehun sang and stuck his tongue out.  "Why would I get a present for you?"

Joonmyun pouted.  "Because I'm your Mama.  Your leader.  Don't you love your umma?"

"Um, no," Sehun deadpanned as he took off his thick coat and beanie.

He walked away from a grumpy Joonmyun and into his room, where he threw his things onto his bed.  All except for the deer doll.  He smiled at it as he set it on the table next to his bed.  "Luhan-hyung will like you."

With an affirmative nod to himself, he stood and walked out of his bedroom into the hangout room, where most of the members were.  Baekhyun was seen on the couch with Chanyeol and Jongdae, and they seemed to be playing something on an iPad.  They screamed with frustration every now and again, which drove the older members crazy.

Sitting on the opposite couch was Jongin, who was looking quite tired.  His hair was wet, signalling that he probably just took a shower.  Sehun saw that he was drinking yet another energy drink.  He had been drinking a lot of those.  No wonder he was full of energy this morning.  He looked closer and saw that there were dark circles under his eyes.  He knew that the other had been working extremely hard ever since the comeback, and it was finally starting to take its toll on him.  Dancing was Jongin's life, and it always would be.

Yixing and Minseok were watching some interesting drama in the kitchen as Kyungsoo and Joonmyun were baking something.  The air smelled sweet.  Cookies.  Sehun's mouth began to water.

"Can I eat one please?" Tao whined while clinging onto Joonmyun.

The leader slapped the younger away.  "No, they're not even cooked enough yet!"

"Cookie dough tastes good, though!"

"Say it again when you're dying from salmonella," Kyungsoo shot.

Tao pouted.  "What the heck is that?"

The shorter boy smirked and snickered.  "Eat the dough and you'll find out."

"That's enough, Kyungsoo-yah," Joonmyun said, giving a harsh look to the other.  He was quite protective over Tao, and most of the members were sick of it.

There was no time to complain about their relationship.  Sehun felt the sudden urge to find Luhan, who was nowhere to be found.  This was definitely a first, because Luhan would usually be helping Kyungsoo in the kitchen, or supervising the Beagles.  In other words, Luhan was never missing from the action.

"Um, guys, where's Luhan?" Sehun asked.

Kyungsoo looked up from shaping the cookies.  "Last I heard, he was in the CEO's office.  He should be done, otherwise he would've been there for four hours already."

A knot twisted in Sehun's gut.  CEO's office?  What the hell is Luhan doing in the CEO's office?  "Thanks," he muttered and went to grab his coat and the deer doll.  He walked towards the door and waved at his hyungs.  "I'll be back."  The older members were just as surprised as he was, because the maknae's voice sounded darker than normal.

Sehun walked out, leaving Kyungsoo, Joonmyun, and Tao speechless.

"This all seems fishy," Tao said suspiciously.

"For once, I actually agree with Tao," Kyungsoo admitted.

Joonmyun's jaw tightened.  This all seemed too familiar to him.  Somehow, he knew that Sehun was probably feeling the same thing that he himself felt when Kris was stuck in the office for about the same amount of time.

Fear.

☆☆☆☆☆

Sehun found himself walking faster and faster as he neared the offices.  Panic started to flood over, and his heart was beating too quick for him to function properly.  He remembered that dreaded day that Kris was in the office, just like Luhan.  He didn't want that to be his hyung.  He didn't want Luhan to be hurt.

He didn't want Luhan to leave.

He heard shouts coming from the CEO's office as he came closer.

"Please don't be ridiculous, Luhan-ssi.  We're only trying to help."

"You and your company are full of lies!"  That was Luhan's voice.  "I'm sick and tired of being mistreated.  If you let Kris have his way, then you should let me go too!"

Sehun staggered backward, clutching the doll harder.  Was Luhan leaving for Kris?

"We haven't even nullified his contract yet!  He's still with us!"

"In case you haven't noticed, Kris isn't here," Sehun heard Luhan hiss.  "Forget it!  This isn't about Kris right now.  I'm supposed to be walking out of here!  I should've walked out of here with my slate clean of your lies four hours ago!"

"Come now, Luhan-ssi.  We know that you've been grieving over the loss of EXO-M's leader-"

"I'm not grieving over that!  I'm envious!"  Sehun winced as Luhan screamed.  "Kris leaving is only the start of what's to come.  This was all part of the plan to get rid of those naive fools of idols!"

Sehun couldn't breathe.  What the hell is he talking about?  Plan?  He couldn't take it anymore.  He found his hand grabbing the doorknob, and he pushed it open with his sore shoulders.

His breath hitched in his throat as he saw Luhan.  His beloved hyung's eyes were bloodshot and puffy with tears of defiance.  His long brown bangs were messy and out at awkward angles.  The boy seemed to not know who Sehun was for a moment, and then the next, everything kicked in.

"S-Sehun-ah," he whimpered weakly.

Sehun's muscles were trembling with anger, fear, and confusion.  He dropped the deer doll and found himself turning around and running towards the nearest exit.

"Sehun-ah!  Sehun-ah!" Luhan yelled with more tears coming down his face.  "Sehun-ah, I didn't mean it!  I swear!"

Swear, my .  Sehun kept running towards the exit as fast as he could with tears running down his cheeks.  He quickly slipped out of the door and slammed it closed.  He leaned his weight on it, feeling defeated and lonely.  His legs trembled and failed, and his back slid down the cold metal of the door until he was sitting.  He buried his face in his cold hands.

What the hell?

What did I ever do to deserve this?

God, please take this pain away?

Is Luhan a deceiver?

I trusted him!

The pain in his head and heart grew, and he started to cry.  His face and hands were wet with tears as he threw his head up to the clear night sky and wailed.  The soft light from the full moon touched his skin.

"Why is this happening now?" he cried.  "I'm losing everyone I love!"

"Sehun-ah," came the faint whisper behind the closed door.  "Please open the door."

"I can't," Sehun hissed.  "You'll hurt me and the rest of the group members.  , they're not even group members, they're our family!"  He slammed his fist into the hard cement.  "You ing dissed our family!"

He heard Luhan sigh.  "Sehun-ah, I'm doing this for a reason, but I didn't mean anything about what I said back there.  I love you a lot, you know that?"

"Lies!" Sehun yelled with more tears streaming down.  "You promised to stay with the group till the end, even when Kris left!  What happened to that promise?"

Sehun heard another sigh.  "Sehun-ah..."

"Don't call me that anymore," Sehun shot.  "What am I to you?  Some sort of toy to play with?  A puppet in your theatre?"

"Just open the door."  Luhan's voice was muffled through the thick metal.  "Please.  Just this once."

Sehun was about to reach for the doorknob when he paused.  Did he really want to open that door?  Their brother-like friendship over the course of the past five or so years was riding on this.  Did he want to end this, or endure in spite of Luhan's mistakes?  Sehun's trust for Luhan was beaten and bleeding, and it didn't look like it was going to heal anytime soon.

What if this was there last goodbye?

His hand rested on the cold doorknob and refused to move.  His head screamed at him to open the door for both of their sakes.  He closed his eyes and let his heart take over.

There was a slight click, and the door opened a crack.

It had been exactly a year since both Luhan and Kris left their EXO brothers.  The group had two successful comebacks in spite of them being only ten members.  They produced power, and that's all that anyone and everyone cared about.  Sehun had changed his hair color about five times since Luhan decided to leave on Valentine's Day, but for once, he didn't regret it.

It was a soft black that made his skin look white as snow.  He actually liked the color, since it reminded him vaguely of his childhood.  Other than that, he was still the same Sehun as he was a year before.

EXO was about done touring in Asia for the third time now, and they were at the airport about to greet their fans in the US.  To be honest, everyone was extremely excited.  They missed their annual visits to LA, and now they were finally at it again.  Just like old times...but without Kris and Luhan.

The fans had died down ever since that incident was let out, about Luhan leaving.  Some weren't even surprised at all while others cared so much.  The members felt like it was their fault for a while, but they learned to cope with it and move on from there.

EXO was stronger.

It was the morning of their departure to the states, and Sehun found himself sighing as he waited by the security gate for the other members.  They took way too much time getting checked, because of all the unnecessary accessories.  Airport fashion, or something like that.  To be honest, Sehun didn't really care about how he looked at all.  In fact, the poorer he looked, the better, because then he was more comfortable.

"Hurry up, hyungs!" Sehun whined.

Jongin laughed as he tied his shoes.  "Hold on, sassy-pants."

Joonmyun struggled to gather his bag and phone, along with the presents the sasaengs threw at them.  "Coming, Sehun-ah!"  He practically tripped over Tao, who was bending down over his large bag, putting something in it.  "Jeez, move, son!"

"Sorry, umma," Tao mumbled and stood tall over EXO-K's leader.

Sehun sighed as he watched the two of them laugh and joke around.  That's how he and Luhan used to be, all happy without a care in the world.  They loved what they did together and for the fans, and that was all that mattered.

But that was the past.

The young maknae managed to get through that burden with the help of Jongin.  To Sehun, Jongin was the only person who really understood what he was going through.  Not that Jongin had ever experienced heartbreak, but the two boys always knew how they felt regardless of what the situation brought.  It was hard for Sehun, but with help, and a bit of brotherly love, Jongin was able to pull him out of his deep, dark hole.

The fans are what kept him going as well.  He would always check his Instagram account for messages and comments.  They all seemed the same.

"Oppa, I love you!  EXO fighting!"

"I know you're going through a hard time.  We're praying for you!"

"You know how much we love you, right?  Keep going, oppa!"

They always brought smiles and happy tears to his face every time he read them.

The ten boys boarded the plane as soon as they were allowed to, ignoring all the nosy fans.  They took their seats and waited patiently for the plane to take off.

Jongin shifted next to Sehun.  "You should try to get some rest.  It's a long flight ahead."

"Thanks," Sehun grunted before closing his eyes and letting sleep overtake him.

☆☆☆☆☆

Sehun opened his eyes and found that most of his world was hazy and blurry.  He looked around and saw that the sky was dark.  The air was cold and chilled his skin to the bone.  The only thing that was keeping him warm was the moonlight from above his head.

"Sehun-ah!"

His world changed, and he was suddenly seeing himself.  He looked different, with his hair dark brown, and his eyes were filled with tears of pain.  His back was pressed against a metal door.

Then, his sight changed, and he suddenly saw a familiar figure collapsed in front of a door at the end of a dark hallway.  He walked slowly towards the figure and recognized the wet, dark hair that lay flat against the figure's pale face.  The figure's eyes were filled with tears as well.

Luhan.

"Sehun-ah," he said.  "Please open the door."

"I can't," came the reply.  "You'll hurt me and the rest of the group members.  , they're not even group members, they're our family!"  A hard bang was heard.  "You ing dissed our family!"

Sehun couldn't watch any more of what was unfolding in front of him.  He was about to turn and walk back away into the void when he heard the door open.  He turned back around and gulped.  He felt himself sweating as he turned around and saw his sick-looking self.

He saw himself walk hesitantly towards Luhan, who looked up at the younger with surprise in his tears.

"S-Sehun-ah," Luhan whispered as he got up shakily.  "I..."  The older boy grasped the younger's wrist and pulled him into a warm embrace.  "I love you so much..."

Sehun watched his other frozen self in Luhan's arms.  Suddenly, he felt a single tear slip down his cheek.  He felt like his heart was being crushed into a million pieces, like a delicate crystal.  He longed to feel Luhan's warmth against his own body, radiating against his chest like the sun on a clear day.  He longed to hold Luhan's delicate build in his arms.

He wanted Luhan back.

"You can't leave," Sehun found himself muttering.  "Luhan...hyung..."  He sniffed and wiped his tears.  "I can't let you leave.  Not now.  Not ever."  He collapsed onto his knees, suddenly feeling weak.  "Don't leave me!"

He sobbed, clutching his chest as if he couldn't breathe.  Hiccups hitched in his throat as his face got wetter with tears.  "You promised!  You never break your promises!  Come back!"

"Come back!"

The dream dissolved and he was kneeling by himself in the darkness, the void of his own head.  A chill crawled up Sehun's spine as he felt cold breaths against his ear.  He turned around and saw no one.  Fearful, he slowly got up and raised his hands up for defense.

"Please don't hurt me," Sehun whispered before blacking out.

☆☆☆☆☆

"Sehun-ah, wake up."

Sehun opened his eyes slowly to see Jongin looking at him with slight concern in his eyes.  He sat up straighter in the uncomfortable chair and stretched a little.  "Are we almost there yet?"

"Yeah," the other answered.  "Are you okay?"

Sehun shrugged indifferently.  "Yeah, I guess.  Why?"

"You were muttering things," Jongin said.  "Another nightmare?"

Sehun nodded.  Jongin was the only other person that knew about the frequent nightmares he would get.  It was weird, because it would always start and end at the exact same time and place for Sehun, and it always involved their last moment.  His last moment with Luhan.

The young maknae sighed with relief as they landed safely.  He almost didn't want to get out of the plane, because of their crazy international fans, and he didn't want to leave simply because flying made him feel like he was free.

Regardless, he still got out of the plane with his group members and was greeted by screaming and excited whispers.  Cameras flashed in his eyes, and he blinked rapidly before keeping his gaze on the ground.  He kept his head down as he and the rest of the boys collected their luggage and headed outside where a van was waiting.

"Come on, Sehun.  I'll let you sit in the front today," Joonmyun said as he pushed the younger boy into the front.

A toothy grin greeted Joonmyun.  "Thanks, hyung."  He got into the front seat, where he was greeted cordially by the van driver, who wore a black cap that covered his face.

With that, the van departed the crowded airport and drove to the hotel they were going to stay at deep in the city of LA.  Sehun was fascinated with the lights.  It wasn't as alive as Korea, but it definitely was something he looked forward to seeing.  He and the other members alike.

The members hopped out of the van as soon as it stopped in front of the front door to the hotel.  Sehun opened the door and was about to leave when he realized his phone was missing.

"Why does this always happen?" he muttered to himself.

"Sehun-ah, you coming?" Jongin called.

Sehun cracked the door open a little.  "You guys go on ahead.  I need to find my phone."

The other tightened his jaw before reluctantly nodding and walking away with the other members, and Sehun went back to looking for his precious phone.

"Where could it be?" Sehun groaned as he slammed the door shut and buried his face in his hands.  He heard a chuckle next to him, and he realized that the van driver had watched him the entire time.  His cheeks were heated with embarrassment.  "E-excuse me, have you seen my phone?"

"You mean this?"  The driver held up Sehun's phone and waved it in front of him before Sehun snatched it.  Was this guy some sort of gay ert?

"Th-thanks," Sehun stuttered and fumbled for the door handle when he heard a voice.

"Sehun-ah..."

Sehun turned back around and saw the driver taking his cap off.  He closed his eyes tight, expecting the worst to happen.  He opened them again to find a familiar boy.

His hair was a sweet honey blonde, which made his fair skin look rosy and absolutely flawless.  His pretty eyes, nose and lips stuck in Sehun's mind.  There was still the same, old goofy grin.  The same twinkle in his eye.  The same wrinkles when he smiled.

"L-Luhan-hyung..."  Sehun found it hard to breathe.

Luhan cupped Sehun's cheek before leaning into him and gently kissing his lips.  "I heard you."

"What?" Sehun asked, blushing.

The older boy smiled and Sehun's cheek before kissing his forehead.  "I heard your voice, Sehun."

"You told me to come back."
